Rubbish! My parcel was not picked up on the day it was booked although I had a tracking number for it, etc. After calling to complain, nothing has been done. I had to rebook it myself, I was issued another label, and I had to go through an awkward process to print and fix the new label to the parcel, as it was left with the reception at my work and I was away. I expect compensation for all my trouble, however I received no answer after complaining to your customer services representative. Shame!

This review refers to a previous identical shipment where an overcharge was made claiming my dimensions were wrong and the package was 6 times bigger than my measurements. The customer service was polite but totally ineffective. I pointed out that I had made this international shipment more than 6 times in the previous 12 months. (same contents, same addresses, same weight, same volume (+/- packing used). This was ignored and I had to approach my credit card company to resolve this. After around 8 messages back and forth I had had enough. I now keep a photograph of my package/label with measure as evidence - but still wonder if they would accept this in case of a dispute. It would be very helpful if their carrier (ParcelForce) were also to provide photographic evidence when dimensions are disputed. It seems likely that there was an additional package in their system with mine.

Asked for parcel to be collected from inside the porch if I was out. Unfortunately this message didnt transfer to the pick up, so the first attempt was wasted and I had to phone to rearrange. Once this was done, no problems.

The service was very quick, helpful tracking. Just a problem with putting in address, it seems to limit the number of characters, which is frustrating. The address is the address and it needs to go in, in the correct format.

I use Parcel Monkey, they get me the best deal around. I recently sent a 30kg parcel and the Post office wanted an astronomical amount to send using Parcel Force 48. I went to Parcelmonkey and put in my details. It was Picked up ( post office Id have had to go there) from my house by Parcel Force 48 for a fraction of the cost. How is this possible. I highly recommend this service.

Used Parcelmonkey lots of times and they have always collected when arranged and for a good price compared to other couriers or Royal Mail.

USING PARCEL MONKEY REDUCES YOUR CUSTOMER PROTECTION RIGHTS. My package was delivered by Parcelforce and damaged in transit. I spent 4 days confirming with the sender that the damage was done in transit and then contacted Parcel Monkey to address the problem. They refused saying they only allow 3 days to report damage after which they wont process a claim. Parcelforce allows 30 days but wont take my claim direclty because they will only accept it via Parcel Monkey because the order . In other words I would be repaid damages if Id gone direct through Parcelforce but Parcel Monkey obstructed this. Im down £70 as a result. Never again.

I used parcelmonkey to post 13 cardboard boxes. Collection and delivery were on time, but half of my boxes were torn apart. I used strong double layered boxes but the handling was very poor. Will not go for them in future

I often have fragile items to send and only trust Parcel Force to deliver them but I always book through Parcel Monkey as it is a bit cheaper then going to Parcel Force direct.

This is the 1st time i have used a service like this 7 I tell you, It was great easy to set up & the price was mind blowing when you consider what some companies charge for shipping. Have a go & see what you can save on shipping. A++++++++

I sent an item from Scotland to Orkney and by time it arrived at its destination the box was crushed and the items inside were smashed and badly damaged (even with them individually packed in bubble wrap. Will not be using this service again

Great comms and had a call at 7 to say 10 mins away. I explained that the shed door was open and could they put it their as I was 15 mins away. Box was left propped up against my garage wall. Luckily it was a dry day otherwise the box would have been totally soaked. Box was heavily damaged but luckily the contents were fine. It was marked as a 4 man lift and as I live alone I found it very hard to get it under cover but all in all pretty good service.

After my first disastrous experience with Parel monkey when a very large parcel to Dubai went missing for 7 months. I had a refund and compensation for the value but not for all hassles and my time. When it turned up they expected me to pay £80 for returning it. It was a framed photo and had been replaced so I didnt need another! I was wary about using them again but parcel force wanted £20 per parcel and parcel monkey wanted £10 per parcel force to deliver with parcel force. My view is just the price and collection which was as arranged, I can not judge the delivery because I wasnt there, it was not for me. Tracking did not work on parcel monkey but did on parcel force.

I hadnt read the best reviews of Parcel Monkey, but I sold something on eBay, and they were the cheapest.
They came on the day they said... and my buyer left positive feedback...
So it got there on time... and in tact...

Excellent service. I was informed that the parcel would be collected between 9.12 and 10.12 and DPD arrived at 9.12. Arrived promptly in Denmark 4 days later. Good price too.
The only criticism I have that it was difficult to find the correct format to put your consignment in for tracking. Worked it out eventually though.

Great idea and useful service with some great prices. I have had a prompt service each time but some issues with the carriers they use. The "Parcel Monkey" delivery service to Europe has been just fine. However, other delivery companies (one through City Link and one through Parcel Force to the UK and US) ended up with significant damage to the packaging which would have been a real problem if the contents had been breakable.
This is as issue with the carriers rather than Parcel Monkey so I only knocked one star off, I wonder if those companies treat their direct customers packages in the same way? I recommend Parcel Monkey for good prices but make sure you wrap up anything breakable really well!
