Any parcel that leaves the EU will have to have a pro forma invoice attached to it. You will be informed about this during the booking process, but be rest-assured we collate all of your details that are required to make sure the goods pass through customs. You will need to provide Customs with an accurate description of what you are sending and check our prohibited items list. You must also provide accurate contact details for the recipient in case the courier or customs need to contact them.
We also strongly advise you double check customs regulations in the destination in Oceania to which you are shipping to ensure no additional goods are prohibited and to see if customs duty would be owed by the recipient. All you've got to do then is attached it to your parcel so it can be read and processed when it arrives in the country.
Also, even though you should be taking great care when you're packing your parcel whether it's travelling a short distance or elsewhere in the world, when you are having a parcel shipped to the other side of the world, you should be extra vigilant as often your package will change hands many times through vast courier networks.
What do I do if something goes wrong?
Firstly we give you access to your tracking within your dashboard, just take your PM order number provided at the time of booking and you can track on the homepage as well. Next, to each order on your Parcel Monkey account, you will have a row of icons. Just click on the last icon that is a representation of the world. This will give you access to the tracking information on the courier's website.
Alternatively, you can contact us or speak to one of our support team via our Live Chat tool on our site which is open from 8 am to 9 pm weekdays, and we will be happy to assist. It is also important to note that when you book a parcel, you should provide the recipient contact number so they can be reached by the courier should there be a delivery issue in Oceania.
