Usually good service but second time booked first class collection service this year and parcel not booked up until 4 days after original collection date. No apology offered and no offer of even a partial refund. The lack of recognition on the times the service as promised is main reason for 2 star review on this occasion.

I booked at 8.59am this morning for a collection, at 5pm i am using live chat to ask why my parcel hasnt been collected, to be told wait until 6pm. I then had to cancel an appointment at 6pm to continue to wait at home, and as i expected no one arrived to collect the parcel, by this time live chat is not working. Not only did i pay for next day delivery, i paid more on top for guarenteed delivery, which clearly was a waste of money as now it will not be collected until monday!

Better than other delivery comparison sites as the options and level of information was more helpful, for example finding out the cost for extra insurance without having to click through to the payment section.

There was no clear information that parcels over 36£ of value are taxed over 40%. Paid for delivery 17£ and the tax was 20£ on top as declared that the parcel is worth 50£ (for insurance) and could reduce the amount to 36£ and not paying any tax on top.

Zero stars. Horrible stars from parcel monkey and FedEx the courier I selected. FedEx staff was very unprofessional , no empathy and cut off line during conversation Parcel monkey couldnt be contacted directly and thechat agents were useless. Made promises that they didnt keep. Never again . General advice hook directly with the courier and drop off your parcel at the depot not the stores. My parcel was left in the store for 2days without collection.

Really shocked by Parcel Monkey- I sent a package and measured everything, weighed everything, their machine said it was grossly incorrect and charged what should have been £18 to send an additional £52! It didnt make it worth sending what I had in the first place. I didnt take photos of the measurements but Im positive I measured and weighed everything correctly so really just disappointed that this cost me so much extra. Honestly I would never use them again. Dont recommend.

It is easy to use. The currier brought the labels so it could go on the day Id originally booked, as my printer had broken. And the currier was lovely.
It was easy to reschedule it even though it wasnt needed. It arrived in perfect condition 2 days later.
A very good price for the size of the parcel.

I used Parcel Monkey to send a parcel from the USA to the UK and was hit with an outrageous £50 customs fee on delivery. The shipment was marked as DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid), meaning the recipient must pay all customs charges — something that was nowhere clearly disclosed on their website. This kind of surprise fee is completely unacceptable and frankly feels like a scam. In my experience, shipments within Europe don’t carry these hidden charges, and Parcel Monkey’s failure to inform customers upfront is misleading and unprofessional. I have formally requested the parcel be returned to the sender and demanded a full refund. Despite this, I am still awaiting their response — which only adds to my frustration and disappointment. If you’re considering Parcel Monkey for international shipping, beware: you could be hit with excessive customs fees that can easily exceed your parcel’s value. Parcel Monkey must urgently overhaul their communication and be 100% transparent about all customs fees upfront to stop misleading customers. And as expected, their reply to a 1-star review is simply “contact our support email” — yet nothing is being done.

Courier lost parcel between collection and delivery, absolutely no speed in their customer service. Missing parcel has eventually been found, but they are still yet to return. Constantly chasing for updates. We have had a second delivery, not collected and unable o collect until the following week. Request to cancel didnt go through and now the courier has taken the parcel from our foyer without letting us know. Parcel monkey refusing to accept responsibly and now we are out an additional delivery fee for an alterative courier who couldnt take the parcel as they had already taken without consent.

Never turned up to collect the parcel. Even after rebooking the next day still nothing and no notification as to why. I ended up going with another company. Very disappointed .
