For speed they were good parcel picked up on time and delivered next day. Unfortunately the safety bar on the pram was snapped. The pram was wrapped in protective packaging and then a blanket, so it must have really been handled with extreme force given how sturdy a pram has to be. The pram can’t be mended and a new one is required.

Really poor. Parcel Monkey booked a delivery by Evri but it was cancelled before it was made, but not cancelled by me. No explanation from Parcel Monkey. Terrible customer service.

This was the first time I’d used parcel money. My friend collected an item from Argos in London and we were using parcel monkey to ship to my home in Yorkshire. I completed the order providing the size and weight of the parcel as per the notes on the Argos website and also as printed on the box from the manufacturer. Total cost was £29. The parcel was delivered successfully however I then recieved a note from parcel monkey advising they had charged an additional fee of £49.06 to my card! I called the bank to stop the transaction however it was too late. When questioning parcel monkey they stated there terms and conditions state they can charge more if the parcel is larger or heavier than originally stated when I raised the order. My item is still boxed as it’s a Christmas present and I’ve sent evidence to prove this isn’t the case. The details I submitted were correct. I have asked parcel monkey why they have removed the money from my bank, specifically what was wrong with my declaration and they are unable to answer me. So basically parcel monkey have charged me an extra £49 in addition to the original £29 however they can’t tell me what was wrong with my parcel! If parcel monkey could explain why they have taken the additional fee I may accept this, however I have referenced the original order with the shipment that’s still fully boxed and all details were correct. The fact parcel monkey can’t justify the specific reason for the additional payment is just wrong. I’m now raising a dispute with my bank in an attempt to get the money back. A horrendous experience, my recommendation would be to go direct to a reputable courier.

Great if your item is delivered, but not if it gets lost. You then have to go through them as an intermediary instead of the company you booked with, with everything taking twice as long. They have a ridiculous list of things that are prohibited which dont match that of the company you are using. Even so, I checked it beforehand and my item was fine. But somehow my claim was rejected because supposedly a toilet seat is not allowed because they specify that toilets are not allowed. Nearly 3 weeks of mucking around via the claim process to be rejected on a spare part for something, rather than the item they actually specify. My advice - go through the actual company and save yourself the hassle.
