There is certainly a constant need for a courier who will handle not just boxes, but 'ugly freight' that is not suited to a standard courier network.
This specialised service will ensure any goods are collected from your home or work address and then delivered quickly. It can be very expensive to arrange the movement of larger items, but with the amount of volume we provide DX with, it allows us to give you access to affordable rates.
We've helped our customers ship a wide range of bulky items via DX Freight over the years. If you're selling on Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree or eBay, DX Freight is ideal for sending large items from A to B, simply enter the weight and dimensions of your item into our courier quote tool to get a price.
If your item is over 50kg, you will be asked if it's on a pallet. If it is, please ensure you have chosen the right size pallet so the item does not overhang the sides. All items should be secured to the pallet, either with shrink wrap or strapping.

We can send a range of bulky household items up to a maximum weight of 50kg, including furniture, cupboards, punch bags, rugs, radiators, exercise weights, electric guitar amps, TV Units, flat pack shelving, headboards, blinds, patio awnings, gazebos, window frames, floorboards and electric fires. Items over 50kg must be sent on a pallet.
Computer desks, chairs, bulky printers, photocopiers, computer parts, pallets of stationery, exhibition stands and catalogues.
Fishing rods, bikes, snooker cues, golf clubs, tents and their poles, skis, weight training equipment, treadmills, exercise machines, exercise bikes and hot tubs.
Tools including spades and garden forks, BBQ's, lawnmowers, strimmers, flat-packed garden sheds, garden furniture, heavy power tools* and circular saws, workbenches, decorating equipment and folding tables.
*Please make sure that any non-electrical power tool is empty of fuel prior to shipping.
We can also ship car and motorbike parts (up to 50kg) but they must be free from oil or fuel. Popular items sent include bumpers, body panels, seats, tyres and dashboards. Gearboxes are often sent on pallets but must be prepared properly.
Even if you book a courier online with Parcel Monkey, you will still have full tracking to delivery. You can also provide this to the recipient so they too can follow the goods until they arrive.
Tracking is often required for goods being sold on eBay so you can book a DX Freight courier in the knowledge that you can share this with the buyer. Alternatively, you might be buying on eBay and need to arrange the collection yourself, DX Freight is ideal for this as the driver will go to the address with a shipping label so no printing is required.
