I ended up using one of their competitors, what a nightmare. Then received an email out of the blue. Remembered Parcel Monkey.. .. will never use anyone else.

We paid Parcel Monkey 3 x the amount of money than it would have cost us to have sent our parcel using the Royal Mail,because we wonted to be able to track our items delivery on a daily basis. DPD the French owned Geopost courier came and collected our parcel on the 26th October, on the 27th of October DPDs tracking service stated that our parcel was in Birmingham and that it would take 6 days to deliver IT, according to DPD tracking service the parcel never left the Birmingham depot .Eventually in mid November after hours of emailed correspondence we asked the monkeys to confirm that they had lost our parcel , having done so they have offered us only the cost of the parcel delivery back but have refused to pay the value of the item they lost. Morally this company acts both totally irresponsible and unjustly when it comes to resolving lost items ,there is no available customer service telephone operators and there emailed response just refuses to act responsibly to take any responsibility for the customers Goods, we will never use there company again. Our dispute is still on going but we have now had to engage trading standards for there help , my advice is i would go direct to the courier service where you will have a better legal chance of reimbursement should your tracked courier serviced item goes missing. Parcel monkey showed Parcel force as being the cheapest. The delivery was said to be 2 days. Took 5 days and at no time was I told why. Not impressed with Parcel Force but have used Parcel Monkey before and have never had a problem with them before.

All went well and at a very good price. IF I had oneniggle, it would help if the collection slot was narrowed down to a few hours rather than waiting in all day, otherwise all good.

The DPD delivery through parcel monkey is advertised as a next day delivery service. On the day of the drop off, I took the package to the first pick up location but the staff did not know what they were meant to do with the parcel. They asked "what are we supposed to do with this and do you have a receipt with instructions?" Hey? I retrieved the package and went straight away to another pick up point who proceeded to start a new order with another courier because they were also not aware that DPD were supposed to collect from them. Eventually the manager got involved and showed the staff how to input the parcel into the DPD system so that the collection request can be activated. Immediately after, the status of the parcel was showing on the DPD tracking service as accepted. Two days later and the parcel was still at the drop off point. In the end it did get delivered on the third day after posting. NOT a NEXT DAY service then. Very POOR.

This was the first time I used parcel monkey & I did was it said on the can, quick & easy & they picked up the parcel & delivered it at the time they said, will send all my parcel in the future, Thank you for a great service

I investigated the cost of sending a 2.5 kg parcel to Australia and decided on Parcel Monkey as they were £10 cheaper than Parcelforce. The service suffered when DPD failed to notify us as promised when they would be collecting the parcel,they eventually turned up at 1530hrs after my wife waited in and our dog missed a morning walk. Sort that out and you get 5stars. P.S. The promise was delivery in 6 days to Australia so it looks like a broken promise by how much I dont yet know.

Great, simple, convenient. Pick up by DPD was on time and the 1-hour collection window was advised in advance. Parcel tracking all of the way to its destination. What more could anyone want?

It was my first experience of using parcel monkey and although I messed up my collection they were very helpful and considerate organising a collection for the following day. They also sent multiple reminders via text and email.
The only thing that stopped me giving a fantastic 5 star rating was that I was contacted by email before my collection, to tell me my parcel was on the way, which was confusing. I assumed they meant they were confirming collection. Also I understood I would get a text just prior to pickup which I did, but it was a standard collection message for that day, not a "we will be with you shortly" message. But otherwise no complaints

I ordered the service on the net, which was very easy and price was very affordable
I was provided with several parcel dropping point (shops)
I printed the delivery label and placed it on the parcel. I dropped it and was given a tracking number
Parcel was delivered the two days later
I will definitely use them again

Prices were very reasonable, and it was easy to book,
It would be handy to have a two or three hour window specified for collection - I cant always stay in all day waiting.
How the parcel industry works is baffling - DX were far cheaper than Parcelforce, so I booked with them, but it was the same very pleasant and helpful driver from Parcelforce who frequently delivers to me who collected!

Good, useful service which Ive used more than once.
One minor quibble is that the website isnt always as easy to navigate as youd like - when I couldnt log in, there was no option to reset my password and then when my partner tried to say she was a new user, it still kept complaining that her password was incorrect (even though she was clicking the "New account" button.
But that aside, its a good service which Ill continue to use.
