Had to ask PayPal for a refund because postage pre paid did not cover the cost of my parcel, despite having paid for 20kg and parcel only weighed 14kg. Refund arrived after dispute raised with PayPal 5 days later - beware!

I wanted to send my son and his girlfriend their xmas box and did not want to send it by royal mail cos it takes up to a month so i was told about parcel monkey by my son and i looked online to get the best and cheapest deal on their website. It seemed a bit expensive and the forms you have to complete are a bit over the top but it said he would get the parcel in 4-5 days and he got it in 3 days so was really pleased, and the courier was friendly . so great customer service.I would definately recommend and use again.

First of all no telephone to contact this company, I ordered a table which was nearly 500 pound and it was too small looking in my living room. Seen parcel monkey was reasonable so 30 pound to sent table back and took insurance. They arrived on time to pick up table which was packed the way we received it with foam on top and four inserts at corners also polystyrene all round it! Packed to a high standard which the company sent it to us. Then to get a phone call from the company I ordered it from to say it was damaged in transit I was shocked. Now parcel monkey are telling us we never packed it properly and insurance not paying out!! So we are down 500 pound! But they want to offer is the 30 pound goodwill gesture! Never heard of a company with no phone number either!! Avoid very poor service!! Im now in touch with lawyer and hope people do not use this company

Not only was it half the price of Royal Mail, I was amazed at how quickly our parcel was delivered. Excellent service, I would recommend this service to anyone.

A little skeptical when a first time user but have to say the set up and user interface on the website is excellent. What you pay is easy to calculate and understand. User account set up is minimal and clear. Information about packing and collection is very good, along with tracking. Would recommend

you are fully on the mercy of driver and parcel monkey and they are not your courier service directly .and there is no justice or as such thing ,if your parcel did not reach or get return to you( which is going to happen i repeat your parcel will get back to you with any stupid reason this is how they make money) and in the end you will remember me i guarantee

No complaints about the price and service, very good.
Only thing stopping it being 5 stars was some confused comms. Order confirmation email said that if I had to print labels I would receive a further email. This never came and I only found out I needed to print some by accident, when i was checking the order details online.

I needed to send a laptop from UK to Germany and came about parcelmonkey in the Internet. The costs were reasonable low (5.99) but, at the same time, I felt being forced to insure the item (explicit warning - please insure because the value > £400 pounds) for an extra 20.72 fee. Ok, then - item was proper packed (carton, bubble wrap etc.) and sent off but was delivered damaged with one corner split off the laptop - a T430s Thinkpad as such quite sturdy built and some damage on the carton (especially at one corner). Now, this really suggested a heavy force on this particular edge. Can happen - never mind - lets solve the issue - so I ordered on ebay replacement parts and negotiated with a computer shop to replace parts (about a 100 pounds - still worth doing it!). However, parcelmonkey refused liability since laptop items are prohibited for compensation in the case of loss or damage. NOW, THE WEBSITE SHOULD CLEARLY SAY SO AND NOT FORCE PEOPLE TO INSURE - THIS IS MISLEADING AND POOR SERVICE - IT MAY SUGGEST EARNING FROM INCENTIVES - AGAIN TYPICAL ENGLISH COMPANY (OH FAIR ENOUGH REAH OUR POLICIES) - SO AVOID SINCE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS REALLY POOR AND THEY DO NOT TAKE REPONSIBLITY FOR THEIR DOING - IN FAACT THEIR TRYING TO ABVOID - POOR ANDMISLEADING SERVICE - AVOID - SPENT SOME MORE MONEY AND GET IT DONE PROPERLY SUCH Courier, UPS, OR ROYAL MAIL.

I can only give this service 1 star because they did pick up the parcel on the specified day. The rest of the experience has been completely unsatisfactory because the parcel has not been delivered. They say that the invoice is not the correct type even although it does appear to be the correct type. I wont use the service again.

With most companies a true measure can only be taken when something goes wrong. Most of the time with Parcel Monkey everything works as it should, but, when it all goes wrong, Parcel Monkeys customer services has to be up there with the worst of them. Trying to make contact to resolve issues is a waste of time, i have found it far easier to navigate around PM and go directly to the courier, most of which are very helpful and understanding. The PM concept is great but having experienced it going wrong a few times now i would seriously consider taking my business straight to Parcel Force or TNT.

Very easy to navigate website- sending my parcel took less than 5 minutes. Allows you to compare different companies and choose the one which is best suited to your needs. Will definitely be using ParcelMonkey again.

sent a bicycle a few weeks back-no problem. Another due to be collected yesterday but no one showed. impossible to phone anyone as no details available-looks like you have to write in to complain. option there to rebook collection which Ive done..but no hint of an apology or explanation, so not too happy. There is a live chat option,but no reply to this an hour after trying to initiate a conversation.

I am pleased with the price, communications and service of parcel Monkey, but either Parcel Force in the UK or the Belgian recipient service misdirected the package to the wrong depot which delayed delivery by a further day.
Since the package was still delivered in 3 days I was not inconvenienced

Absolutely would not hesitate to recommend this service, was told when the parcel would we be picked up, how to address it etc and much cheaper than alternative sites. Received very happy text from Switzerland to say it had arrived safely.

Picked the courier which could handle the size of my item at the price I wanted to pay, requested the day the seller wanted it collecting and although it was a Parcelforce 48 service it was delivered safely to me within 24 hours of collection. Had a notification phone call before it was delivered too. Very pleased indeed.
