I investigated the cost of sending a 2.5 kg parcel to Australia and decided on Parcel Monkey as they were £10 cheaper than Parcelforce. The service suffered when DPD failed to notify us as promised when they would be collecting the parcel,they eventually turned up at 1530hrs after my wife waited in and our dog missed a morning walk. Sort that out and you get 5stars. P.S. The promise was delivery in 6 days to Australia so it looks like a broken promise by how much I dont yet know.

Great, simple, convenient. Pick up by DPD was on time and the 1-hour collection window was advised in advance. Parcel tracking all of the way to its destination. What more could anyone want?

chocking initially when they said the time span when they will show up for pickup but later a text message narrow it down to one hour....great

Collected parcel on a Monday afternoon and it was delivered first thing Tuesday morning. Couldnt have gone any better.

It was my first experience of using parcel monkey and although I messed up my collection they were very helpful and considerate organising a collection for the following day. They also sent multiple reminders via text and email.
The only thing that stopped me giving a fantastic 5 star rating was that I was contacted by email before my collection, to tell me my parcel was on the way, which was confusing. I assumed they meant they were confirming collection. Also I understood I would get a text just prior to pickup which I did, but it was a standard collection message for that day, not a "we will be with you shortly" message. But otherwise no complaints

I ordered the service on the net, which was very easy and price was very affordable
I was provided with several parcel dropping point (shops)
I printed the delivery label and placed it on the parcel. I dropped it and was given a tracking number
Parcel was delivered the two days later
I will definitely use them again

The service itself is excellent!! The first parcel I sent with them, they text to say when it would be delivered.
Would use again, but would not use the same drop off shop again.

Prices were very reasonable, and it was easy to book,
It would be handy to have a two or three hour window specified for collection - I cant always stay in all day waiting.
How the parcel industry works is baffling - DX were far cheaper than Parcelforce, so I booked with them, but it was the same very pleasant and helpful driver from Parcelforce who frequently delivers to me who collected!

Good, useful service which Ive used more than once.
One minor quibble is that the website isnt always as easy to navigate as youd like - when I couldnt log in, there was no option to reset my password and then when my partner tried to say she was a new user, it still kept complaining that her password was incorrect (even though she was clicking the "New account" button.
But that aside, its a good service which Ill continue to use.

Was easy to book and pay for, no complications. Parcel was collected on the day specified and a receipt issued, it arrived at its destination two days later, in good condition.

I dropped off a parcel at our local newsagent for collection by DPD on Friday 14 November. The parcel was not collected until Tuesday 18 November and only delivered on Thursday 18 November - all this on a next working service. When I tried to check progress I found I could not log into the tracking software. In the end I had to telephone Parcel Monkey and the operative admitted he did not where the parcel. To be fair he did take steps to find out where my parcel was and notified me but only after I had to check with the addressee. The organisation seemed to be chaotic - I was very disappointed with the service.

Sending a Parcel International (UK to USA) Parcel was lost almost immediately. Last tracking information from their woefully inadequate system was Glasgow (Local to me). After assurances that I would be kept informed, I ended up chasing for updates. I can only assume the package was stolen at some point. This is total speculation on my part. Clearly they are a reselling company, however I doubt I am the only victim of this sort of issue. I will be avoiding this company in the future.

THE WEBSITE CONSTANTLY TELLS YOU THERE IS AN ERROR EVEN IF THE INFO HAS BEEN SUPPLIED BY THEMSELVES YOU CANT PRINT LABELS DIRECTLY FROM THE WEBSITE ONCE PAID YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR AN EMAIL WITH A LINK TO PRINT ADDRESS LABELS (THATS IF IT ARRIVES AT ALL) AND YOUCANNOT CONTACT THEM IF THERE IS A PROBLEM

A few months back I ordered a Next Day service from Parcel Monkey (Parcel Force 24 service). I printed my documentation as soon as it became available. I was then about to take the parcel to my local Post Office ready to be shipped that very day (for delivery to my customer the following day). However prior to leaving my house, I noticed that the collection date was for the following day, rather than same-day. This meant that the parcel was NOT going to be delivered next day, but instead within 2 days. I had already been mis-sold a service on the premise it was a next day service. There are three reasons why this was unacceptable: 1. I could have paid less money if I wanted a 2-day service opposed to a next day service. 2. The item needed to be delivered next day due to my eBay responsibilities with Fast & Free. If the item wasnt delivered Next day as stated in my listing, my feedback would be affected. 3. I ordered the Next day service from Parcel Monkey at 2:30pm. The cut-off time for Next Day by Parcel Force is 2pm - as confirmed by the Post Office. Therefore Parcel Monkey mis-sold me a service. To make matters worse - once I realised the service I purchased was going to make my delivery a day late, I immediately contacted Parcel Monkey. Firstly, this wasnt easy - they have no telephone number! I spoke with them via Live chat (on their website) and explained the situation to them clearly - stating that before I purchased the service it said my item would arrive next day (citing the correct day/month), yet after purchasing the service it said it would arrive at the destination a day late (again, citing the day/month). They told me that this was not the case. They advised that so long as I drop the parcel at the Post Office this very day, it would be shipped same-day and delivered next day. I was given assurances that my item would be delivered by the enxt day and thus went ahead and took my item to the Post Office. The lady on the counter said that since its gone 2PM, the item wouldnt be collected until the next day - and as such, it wouldnt be delivered until a day later than I needed. What could I do? I had to ship my item. Parcel Monkey had me over, and despite contacting them several times since I was mis-sold this service (and being ignored for almost a month before chasing them up and assuring them the matter wouldnt be dropped), they are still refusing to refund me or even acknowledge that the error was theirs. Instead they are saying its ParcelForces fault, quoting: ---------------------- "Parcel Monkey recommend this service as nationally 98%-99% of their parcels attempt delivery the following day, it would appear that on this occasion you were unfortunately in the 1%-2% that missed their goal. The service you selected, despite being a next day service is neither "Guaranteed" or a "Priority/timed Service" which would ensure a next day delivery time or your money back; this would have been shown in the sign up process, it is also in our terms and conditions that you agreed to use our services." --------------------- This is absolute nonsense. At no point was there a mention of the service I was purchasing stated as not being a next day guaranteed service. There was also no cut-off time stated on their website. At the very least, I should have been notified of these things when I contacted them originally with my concerns (prior to shipping the parcel). I strongly advise you avoid this company like the plague. They are taking customers for a ride left, right and center. I have forwarded a complain about this company to Trading Standards, and despite the very small amount of money concerned, I shall also be looking to start Small Claims Court proceedings in due course. I advise everyone else who has fell victim to this cowboy company to do the same. By doing nothing they are only being allowed to rip-off more and more people, whilst their business grows unethically. A very disgruntled customer.

Tried other online couriers, used Parcel Monkey a few times and the service has nearly been flawless. Had one package that was one day late, so contacted them and they responded in a reasonable time frame. Would recomend.

Very punctual collection, very fast delivery (4 working days from Scotland to Paris). Great contact via email and text messages. One or time slot for collection or delivery means you dont have to stay home for a whole day. Plus it is really cheap - I payed £14.29 for 7kg parcel. Royal Mail quoted the same parcel for £46! Highly recommended!
