I went to the post office with a Christmas present for my friend in Belgium, they wanted over £30, so I said I would come back later. Then I did a google search and I found parcel monkey. The same package cost me about £15 and my friend got the gift in less than 48 hours through DPD. If I had sent this through normal post he would not have got it for at least a week! I then used parcel monkey to send some toys to my friends little ones in the UK, again parcel monkey found me a great price and the next day they received their presents ready for Christmas. Not only did I save a lot money, I did not even have to leave my house. I was in on a certain day and they came to pick them up on that day. No waiting in the post office as the one person behind the glass deals with that person wanting everything explained and then starts chatting about whatever is on their mind (which happens a lot). I was in my PJs in the warm, then when the door bells rings I hand over my parcel and I get a receipt - its that simple. I dont know why the I would ever go back to the post office again when I want to send a parcel like this!

Pros
My package was collected from a London address on Monday, and by Thursday morning it was in Doha, Qatar. the prices were about 70% cheaper than the Post Office. Everything went well and I would recommend Parcel Monkey.
Unbeknownst to me a relative has used the company and liked the service they provided.
Cons
I wasnt told that there were no weekend collections during the initial giving of the quote, it was a bit inconvenient.
there are no set collection times, delivery can take place between 8am and 6pm.

Great service all the time except when we used UPS and DX of were very late in collection and our parcels were severly damaged .
We allways use parcel force now of which are 5 star and a credit to parcel monkey.

It took a while to make the booking as it wasnt clear why it wasnt being accepted, kept saying the address was wrong when in fact I had used too many letters in the notes section that it wouldnt accept, however due to a reasonable quote I persevered and finally got it to work. Pick up and delivery went smoothly and arrived in the time specified.

Very fast and efficient pick up delivery driver was fantastic helping with the parcel. You can track parcel anytime, dont know what the service is like yet at the delivery end. I have used this service twice and have recommended them to everyone I know.

Have been using parcel monkey for a couple of years to post presents to Australia and they have never let me down even when I leave it to the last minute posting for Christmas! No problem getting a refund last year when I accidentally sent perfume in a parcel and it was returned to me with no hassle and a full refund. Would recommend this site to anyone. Well done you guys!!

The use of Monkey parcel is a organised and easy to access. The liaison between parcel monkey and the delivery company is good, as well as clear instructions on how to arrange for the packing and delivery. It is a valued approach to receive emails and reminders of the pick up and delivery. It is disappointing that having advertised a 2 day delivery and had a pick on Wednesday, the parcels have not been delivered within this time period.

Despite the negative reviews that worried me a bit, I had a timely delivery via DPD. The price was around 15.- where Royal Mail wanted 80.-. It was very easy to navigate on the app and the website. I will definitely use this service again.

I was browsing for a site so i can send a parcel, knowing my local post office they would hve charged me £40. Found ParcelMonkey and filled in all details required. Best thing!!! The price, where i would have paid £40 through post office, i had paid £17 on parcel monkey. The response was rapid. Very reliable and good for proce. Looking forward to use Parcel Monkey again in near future.
