First time using it to return a large box to a shop in Germany. Quotes on DHL website, parcelforce, royal mail, etc were all £60+ for a 2-5 day insured service.
Bought here and was 1/3 the other prices. No issues at all.
Will use again without a doubt.

Honestly cant fault the service! Was simple to label my boxes, the drivers arrived at both ends punctually and everything was delivered intact!

Pointless asking us to enter phone numbers to make the delivery easier because a whole day was wasted waiting for a call or text to say when to expect the driver. A bit of communication would have helped here. Items got here OK though.

I have had the delivery of 3 heavy non fragile items. On each occasion I have chosen parcelforce. Parcelfoece have been great but going through Parcelmonkey has made some of the deliveries less than half the price than they would have been if I had booked with Parcelforce directly. 5*s to both.

Asked for an international delivery, paid premium for the item to be delivered within 2 days (deadline), arrived a day later (no apology or explanation, as if this was the norm). They will not reimburse either. If time is of essence, dont rely on them. Go directly to respectable courrier.

Shipping internationally is very poorly tracked. It appears that once the package has been passed to the freight forwarders the tracking status is shown as delivered and signed for. After that the only tracking indication will be when package is delivered. Not very informative or helpful at all especially as this is the longer unpredictable bit that needs tracking.

Offered parcel pick up on a Friday for the Monday. No pick up on Monday (still no explanation as to why). I had to chase on Tuesday. Help and support made me feel like they were doing me a favour by simply re booking the service. Second time it happened. Wont give them a third.

DPD lost my parcel. Had to chase parcel monkey for four weeks. The parcel was insured for £20 by default, but they refused to pay compensation. Lack of communication, poor service, no support. NEVER AGAIN!

Very impressed with Parcel Monkey. Easy to use website, clear information and pricing structure so it was easy to see the best option for me. Good prices too - I chose the Royal Mail 48hr service which was cheaper with Parcel Monkey than if I had booked it direct with Royal Mail. My parcel was picked up on time and delivered promptly and safely. I will use Parcel Monkey again and would highly recommend them.

There is no time frame for pick up or delivery ! I arranged a parcel to be picked up last monday, foolishly i expected it to be delivered later the same day or at least the next ....it arrived three days later...they do not make it easy to get in touch...luckily i could message the ebayer who i had purchased the delivery from....the tracking is as good as useless it is not updated...mine was item picked up for the 3 days....absolutely frustrating

Picked Parcel Force, not the cheapest from the website, but know company. Parcels should have been picked up on the Friday, finally collected the following Wednesday. Phoned Parcel Force on the Monday, they emailed the local depot to contact me, nothing. Phoned again Wednesday, actually got put through to the local depot, they did not have my address, only the post code, the driver had a different story when he arrived. Things can go wrong, but would have been nice to get the truth, rather than conflicting stories............ Do we trust them with the parcels?

After clicking the link that said - you have until 3pm to arrange a pick up today the only option given was a pick up the following day....I am still waiting for the courier to arrive and it has just gone 13:10

The parcel arrived three days late, not because the job hadnt been done properly in the UK but because Chronopost France messed it up. Had to call twice to obtain an answer. First call, they had lost the parcel and couldnt trace it back. At the same time I could read via the tracking service online that they had come home to deliver and didnt find anyone present whereas we were all home waiting for the delivery. Second phone call, we arranged a picking up place for the following day, only to be delivered at home on the following day at our great surprise. we received contradictory emails in the meantime. What a messy delivery!

I had to send two parcels, one to italy one to switzerland, with two different couriers. First of all the website had me splitting my address onto three lines becaus there was enough space in one. That led to so much misunderstanding with one of the couriers that kept going to the wrong address that I had to cancel my order and try a different company. and this is for the parcel I sent to to italy. The second parcel was picked up fine (I had to request ParcelMonkey to change the pick up address and they did, but just for his parcel). I had to fill an invoice because the parcel had to go to Switzerland and I sticked it to the parcel. I was given a link to follow my parcel that didnt work. So after 10 days I contacted parcelmonkey and they gave me another link. This time I could see that my parcel had been stuck in zurich for over 10 days and that I needed to contact the courier to get the parcel out of custom. It was firday night, I decided to wait until monday. Too bad. On monday I checked again and the parcel had left switzerland to be returned to the UK. I sent a raging email to parcelmonkey sking to stop the return process: NO ANSWER. I had to call the courier who told me they had been trying to contact me via parcel monkey for 10 days but couldnt get a hold of me. Thankfully they stopped my parcel halfway through the return process, I gave them the documents I needed ad I managed to get it delivered to Switzerland. Funny enough, parcelmonkey answered to my email after I had solved the problem. Bottomline: if your delivery doesnt go smoothly parcelmonkey is useless to solve your problems.

For an unknown reason, the package sat in the local depot for a couple of days instead of being passed down the line for delivery.... At one stage the tracking info read "Being returned to sender" THEN the tracking stated "Will be delivered on Wednesday" Less than 24 hours after this (ON the Tuesday) the tracking then said "Being delivered in the next hour"!! There is NO VALID REASON why the package was NOT delivered on the Monday as it should have been. Also - in trying to PHONE to find out about the package it took TOO LONG to track down a phone number of an ACTUAL helpline operator. NOT a positive experience overall....

If I could use no stars, I would give no stars. Sent a CD player using there service. I recorded the CD player fully working before I sent it, buyer received it not working! Went through claims & despite video evidence of the player working before sent, then it not working when received, they claimed there was no physical evidence of it being damaged. The claims team appear to be utterly & completely lacking in intellect. Do yourself a favour dont use parcelmonkey, even if you have used them before, & had no problems, its when you have the problem or they damage your item, you will hit the same problem as I & many others have had. There appeal also consists of a return message stating we cannot find any evidence of physical damage. It would have been cheaper to have delivered my CD player myself.

I chose a 4-7 day delivery to the USA. I had been using UPS and thought I would give another company a try. Two weeks later parcel was delivered and my customer was frantic. No phone number to contact Parcel Monkey. Yodel had the parcel at their depot for a week before they shipped it to the U.S. Then it took Asendia another week to deliver the box..and when it arrived it was battered and had been thrown around. Disgusting service

They must have a good bulk deal. I sent a package to Illinois for my daughter (UK exchange student in Chicago for 1 year who needed her favourite boots and jumpers ahead of the winter) for around half the price of the quote I got if using the same courrier via their own website. She received in the lower part of the range they state ( received it in 2 working days, they state 2 to 4).
Only remark is there is a space to leave a message for the delivery person - please can you also add a message for the collecting person. In our case, our address is a walk (hence no car access) but we have a drive at the back of the house and a parcel box with a code ... even though I put as much detail of those in the collection address fields available, including the parcell box code where I had deposited the parcel for collection, the "not at home" note was left on the wrong gate door - right in terms of official address (postcode) but not as per the instructions on the address fields - please consider this. We are working poeple (most families are, I would hope) - consider a field for a "hidden/safe place - and allow a space in your labeling for that.
