Website is easy to use and appears to give clear and concise directions for labeling the parcel. However, with DHL/Parcelmonkey overlap we had a problem, and the DHL guy said this happens all the time with parcelmonkey. DHL require TWO copies of the "Invoice" (customs declaration) and the they also require the printout that says on it "do not attach to parcel" and, as far as I remember, does not feature in the user instructions, or at least does not say you need to hand this to the DHL rep on collection. When the collection occurred I was working way and my wife had to deal with it - frantically looking for the required bits of paperwork. I think the DHL guys comment should be looked into...does this happen all the time?

24h delivery for a third of the cost. Have used them twice now to send up to 30kg of Daughters belongings to Uni. Its much cheaper than driving (and more environmentally friendly)

After the item had been delivered, Parcel Monkey charged me an additional £4.39 for what they said was additional weight. I weighed the item three times before placing the order and it definitely did not weigh more than my stated weight. They took the money from my card without letting me know in advance. I certainly will NOT be using Parcel Monkey ever again and will ensure none of my friends or relatives do either.

Parcel is still here parcel monkey. Pick up guy didnt knock door properly. Also no phone call. Disappointing!!! Didnt get a decent time window either. 8 till 5 is just ridiculous.

4 parcels sent at the same time, all arrived at different dates, 3 parcels handled very roughly, one completely wrecked and clearly been opened and parts missing, open and items hanging out on 3 sides, handling was by parcel-force. unacceptable.

My parcel, which was being delivered to someone in another country has NOT been delivered to the address that I asked for, so now I have the hassle of trying to find the parcel, even though I dont live in that country and the embarrassment of having to apologise to the recipient for their lost goods.

Really impressed with this company, I got messed around with inter parcel 4 times I waited in, and they never showed. I ordered a pick up with parcel monkey and parcelforce they picked it up next day, and delivered it within two working days, I would recommend this company and I will be using in the future.

sent two packages for a much cheaper price from Scotland to Wales and they arrived on the second day. I could track the parcels every step of the way. Superb!

Thanks for the opportunity to share my experience, which has been disappointing to say the least. Parcel Monkey as a facilitator is fair enough, it works out cheaper but you are still reliant on the appointed courier providing a good service and in this instant they havent. Who would you suggest is responsible for the provision of this poor service, you guys as the people who Ive paid, or the people providing me with the courier service? - 4 days late, 5 phone calls later - still no package and no offer of compensation.

Iv got to be honest. The name made me think, "omg you cant be serious ". But I had a drone worth alot of money my mate built in Liverpool and you guys collected it from his door and delivered it to my door in Somerset in 48 hours. Excellent service! Bloody brilliant! The driver brought it up the stairs to my flat door and he was really nice and polite. Im recommendin you to all my mates and I will definitely use your services again. 5 stars from me. Id put 20 but couldnt😉 thankyou for looking after my parcel and not ripping g me off like bloody every other postal service! Happy 2016 Parcel Monkey😀

Late delivery of Parcel. Parcel then arrived minus two items. I paid for insurance however as I didnt take a picture of the item before it was posted and once it arrived I am now not liable to claim. The parcel was left on the doorstep without a signature. I will never use this delivery company again!

I am really upset about my parcel I sent from my address in England to be delivered to my home address where I am now living in Paris. I ordered it through Parcel Monkey but the courier is DPD. I wish I had checked the reviews for DPD and not just Parcel Monkey before ordering as they are terrible. Parcel Monkey has a responsibility to its customers not to employ such an awful courier. It contained my Christmas presents so has both sentimental and a lot of monetary value. It was supposed to be delivered on the 7th January. It made it to France but then was recorded as undeliverable for no reason. (We have a concierge in our building who is there at all times to receive parcels) I have had no update via phone, email, or any other contact method to explain why it was undeliverable. It was apparently returned to sender over a week ago and yet I have had no further update and no idea where it is. At this stage, I just want it to be returned to my original pick up address so that I know it is safe and hasnt been lost. This is the first time I have used this service so it is incredibly disappointing.

The online process was fairly easy, printing off the labels was easy. Then I get to the day my parcel was due to be picked up and it just said "you are due for a collection" so I look on the website and it just says a courier will come between the hours of 8-6pm!!! This is just ridiculous! If I had known that which wasnt mentioned during booking I would never have gone ahead with it. How can you not give a rough window of when it will be collected??!! So I waited, and waited and waited. I missed a day of work and had to get my daughter dropped off and picked up from school and the courier never showed by 6:15pm. Angry and Disappointed is an understatement!! I will never use Parcel Monkey again. I am now currently waiting for the finance team to contact me so I can get a refund (3-5 day wait btw) In the meantime I will have my parcel sent with someone more expensive but reliable.

My package was delivered very quickly and safely, but the tracking page was next to useless for me as it didnt update often and displayed cryptic messages about the status of the package rather than anything I could use to determine where it was and when it would arrive.

This may well have been a blip in their customer service but having used them without issue several times before the drop in is service was noticeable. Having booked a collection online no one arrived to actually collect the parcel, I had contacted them as the day progressed but they advise to wait until 6pm which is handy as the support desk closes at 5:30pm. Anyway no collection and as the package was fairly urgent I had to go to the post office to send it and then contacted them to request a refund. This is where it has gone badly wrong as via live chat the person would only offer to rearrange to collect the package which was a bit pointless and via their own support messaging they have been telling me I will get a refund for over two weeks and guess what no refund, I cannot help but feel ripped off and annoyed by the shady practices of this company and will persue a refund via my credit card company and can only advise anyone looking for a discount parcel courier to look elsewhere, it is not worth dealing with an organisation who given a problem will just try to ignore you and keep your money, I am not able to get a refund for a package the courier did not bother to collect imagine the hell I would be going through trying to claim for a lost or damaged package if this is their attitude?! This may be a cost cutting excercise by them but the customer service is appaling and that of a dodgy back street trader, full of excuses and false promises.

I booked a collection in Glasgow for the 8th of December 2015 for a parcel to be sent to a friend in Singapore (Christmas present). My credit card was promptly charged (£25.10). However the parcel was returned to my home address two later (DPD) with no explanation. It seemed to have been posted back to me. Since then, Ive exchanged messages with Parcelmonkey on their Support Centre and the service has been appalling. The response I always get (up to this day) is "we are waiting an answer from DPD". Even more annoying and unfair, a few weeks later I received an email from Parcelmonkey announcing the upcoming charge of my credit card if an extra £8 following information sent to them by DPD regarding my parcel that apparently was heavier than declared when booking. Im puzzled how they could know that since my parcel was at home unopened (and still is today). I immediately sent a message to Parcelmonkey support centre to try cancel this charge but it went ahead anyway and each time I mention the word "refund" in my messages, I get these automatically-looking messages starting with "Dear Customer,..." And quoting a line from their T&C saying a customer cannot get any refund if a parcel is returned. But mine never even left to Singapore. This is totally unfair and cant be legal to have been charged (twice!!) for a service that never took place and not to have been given any explanation let alone a refund a month and a half later. Theyre clearly trying to tire me over and this is disgusting. I even had to purchase duplicate gifts on Amazon and have them delivered directly to Singapore for my friends kids for Christmas, another £60. The only option for me seems to be their complaint procedure (if that exists...) and the Small Claim but what a hassle! I havent got the time or the energy to do this and then theyll get away with charging someone for nothing. So for now Im posting reviews to share my experience with others. Needless to say that I wont ever use their services again nor those of DPD.
