Parcel Monkey is a very tool in useful in sourcing and securing the most cost effective delivery service. The visibility through the online tracking system is reassuring and up to date. The area in which I would like to see an improvement pertains more to the suppliers than the service. I selected Air Express for my international parcel, they clearly outsourced to DHL. Upon arrival at customs, DHL informed me that the package was on hold at customs and needed a fee paid. DHL quoted me $150.00 NZD admin fee to process it, along with numerous taxes and small charges, a potential 5 day wait and possible storage fees. They gave me the option of doing it myself but I believe most people would shy away from dealing with customs themselves especially given the voice over advert on their help line mentions dealing with multiple middlemen. I didnt shy, I called customs myself. It turns out that I had to fill in one quick form, it took five minutes and cost under $50.00. My parcel was released immediately. It also transpires that this is a standard fee, applied to all packages, in which case I would expect it to be included in the fee, or at the very least pointed out to me when my shipping labels and declarations were made. I suspect that should the supplier have included this standard fee in their quote, it may not have appeared as the cheapest. I realize that this does not pertain directly to Parcel Monkey, but in supplying all the tracking information and being the port of call for enquiries, they appear to me to be acting as an agent and may wish ensure that suppliers benefiting from their service are acting correctly. I would continue to use Parcel Monkey but would suggest to others that should a supplier give you the option to pay an exhorbitant fee for processing at customs or do it yourself, do the latter. I found customs to be quick, well organized and easy to navigate. I do not believe it is ethical to charge someone half the value of the package, and potential delays and holding fees, for sending one quick email.

I have used Parcel Monkey (for parcel delivery to Portugal) on several occasions and they have arranged delivery of my parcels for a very competitive price and within their stated timescales. From the time I placed my online order I was kept informed of collection date and times, emailed with shipping labels and provided with a tracking reference number.

If you are wondering why Parcel Monkey is cheaper than all the other couriers, its because they are incompetent and your parcel is unlikely to ever reach its destination. Avoid at all costs.

The pick up driver collected precisely when I was informed he would. I didnt have a print of the delivery address for him to scan. But he took the parcel anyway and signed for the package and told me he would sort it out for me. Delivery arrived at the destination in under 48 hrs. I will be using and recommending Parcel Monkey for all my parcel deliveries!

This was the first time I had used this service before and was a bit hesitant at first however the parcel was collected promptly on the day it was supposed to by a very friendly man and was delivered within 3 days with no problems to France. I was very impressed especially as it was under £20 to send and the post office had quoted me almost £80 when I went in there.
Would definitely use again and would recommend.

I was in the post office Christmas time, about 10 days or so before the big day, the queue was out the door, when I finally got to the front of the queue, I was disgusted with the price and how long it would take to get there. The woman behind the counter challenged me to find it cheaper so I did, half the price, half the time guaranteed, with insurance. I got my parcel back and my money back and have been utterly swayed by how brilliant this was. So easy. They came and got the parcel from me while I was at work too. Fab. Thank you parcel monkey. :D

May parcel was collected on 14th with a 4-5 day delivery deadline. On day 5 I received a message saying there was a delay at customs but did not say which customs. There was no telephone mnumber to I typed a message and was informed someone would get beck to me when they had spoken to the courier. That was yesterday and I am still waiting for a reply.Now my status shows as: 22nd December 2015 @ 14:25 Delivered & Signed For 23rd December 2015 @ 12:15 Standard customs procedure/under inspection SO none the wiser if the parcel has been delieverd or not and Parcel Monkey have failed to respond to my query. I have given this rating on the assumption my parcel has been delivered but I am really not satisfied with their communication.

Sent this parcel from Scotland to France. Obviously expecting it to be delivered between the said 3-5days.. A whole week and a half later it finally arrived. Not happy. Wrote to customer services to ask what the problem was and they couldnt give any info..

Somehow this one package collection was converted into two collections. Parcel Force then failed to appear after waiting all day. Of course they refuse to send text messages so the following day they missed it again. On the third day they took the note on the door and delivered it instead of reading the message that said "package in safe place around corner". Overall unreliable and incredibly efficient.

I have used Parcel Monkey a few times now over the last couple of months. The online booking is easy and the collection is reliable. I have also used the drop-off service (where I take the parcel to my corner shop) which is fabulous for when I cant be home all day for a collection or if I need to do it in the evening. It would be great if the drop-off service were available for parcels to the US. So far it seems I can only do drop-off for European parcels and I would probably use the service more if I could do the drop off more. It is more convenient than having to be home all day for the collection. (Although, having said that, my collections so far have all been pretty early in the day. Not guaranteed though...). All in all I am very happy with the service.

On your part it was easy , BUT choosing Parcel Force 24 was a bad thing to do as the didnt deliver the goods on time , in fact after many phone calls to them they didnt know why themselves where it may have been ,and it arrived a day late .

Sent a parcel to relatives in Italy. Apparently a problem with address ( checked by us as correct), but neither sender nor consignee contacted either by email or telephone. Collected 15 December and tried to deliver 18 December. Only when I checked on-line did I see a problem.Apparently the parcel is on its way back. Amazingly this company does not see it necessary to have a customer service department that you can actually speak to.

I sent s parcel to Slovakia and it should take 4-5 days. Today its been 8 days and the parcel it still not there. Nobody contacted me for letting me know what happend . There were all Xmas presents and Xmas are tomorrow . Im very disappointed .

Great value for money and the use of professional, reliable carriers. I was kept informed at every step from collection to delivery and my parcel was delivered exactly when It was promised. Very impressed as it was sent abroad at the height of the Christmas period! Keep up the excellent service!

Fantastic International delivery to Australia. Royal Mail quoted an extortionate price and said as Id missed the final postage date for Christmas & the parcel would take weeks. Parcel Monkey quoted less than half, collected giving an hours slot and delivered in a week. All the time I could track the order. Superb. Ill never use Royal Mail agaon
