I cannot fault the parcel monkey experience but using DPD for business has been a disaster. What is the point of someone staying in all day for a prearranged delivery for the delivery not to turn up and no communication to confirm the delivery was not made and the reasons why. My client was extremely unhappy!

Booked a parcel to be collected to go the Saudi - Waited 2 days for Yodel to collect, but nobody turned up. Was told that they would collected today and again nobody turned. If ParcelMonkey keep using unprofessional companies like Yodel, they deserve to get bad reviews

Used these guys a fair bit so I can offer an opinion based on more than one parcel. Starting with the positives the prices are competitive and the online booking process is simple and straightforward to follow. They offer a wide range of services from both budget and main stream carriers. Now the downside, when it goes wrong they are useless. I have had numerous missed collections and a couple of lost parcels. Now whilst I accept it is the actual couriers that are at fault for the losses I suspect the miss collections are down to Parcel Monkey. Also what is firmly under their control is the customer service which to put it bluntly is appalling. No phone line, just an online chat, sometime you can go over a day with out an answer, a lot of the replies are blatantly copy n paste answers and the general feeling is they do not give a monkeys Sadly in light of this poor customer service I often use their competitors as even if they are slightly more expensive it is worth it so you do not have to use Parcel Monkey customer service. The only time I will use PM now is if I select a drop off, that way I am not sweating on the couriers potential non arrival. Shame really but if they sorted their customer service then I would score them higher

Totally let down yesterday, Parcelforce did not collect the two parcels waiting to be shipped. One on 24 hour service and the other on 48 hour. Still waiting today for the parcels to be collected.

I was told about Parcel Monkey and had three parcels to send to Germany. It worked out about 50% cheaper to send via Parcel Monkey, was a bit unsure at first, but decided to give it a go. I booked it on a Tuesday night, the courier picked up at 4pm on Wednesday afternoon and the parcels were delivered and signed for by 12.15pm on Friday. I know there are mixed reviews on here and this was my first time using Parcel Monkey, but judging on this experience, I will definitely use again.
The only thing I would change is that when you book the courier, there is no way of knowing when they will arrive to pick up the order. Not really a problem for me as I work from home, would just be nice to know a given time, or within say a two hour slot.

no e-mail contact and was hard to navigate to the label that should be attached to the parcel. Apart from that very quick, fast and secure. I ve sent unlocked suitcase and nothing was missing from it .5 stars😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Couldnt believe how cheap it was. I sent a 30KG parcel that I had been quoted well over £30 for, came to Parcel Monkey and got the same thing with Parcelforce for £12. Brilliant service, good tracking. Will definately use again for bigger parcels.

After reading online that ParcelMonkey might be a good option when shipping internationally I looked them up and got a quote that was $50 less than everyone else! Great right? Not quite. Upon reviewing their Exstensive "prohibited items" list I sent them an email to confirm a few things. I had done research beforehand regarding what my country, and the country I was shipping too, found acceptable. Food for example, no problem, as long as it isnt perishable and preferably pre-packaged and processed. But ParcelMonkey specifies no food AT ALL. Regardless of who you are actually shipping with or which country you are shipping to. First they told me the restrictions were government imposed, when I told them that wasnt possible because I had researched it they then claimed their shipping partners imposed the restrictions. This is also not true since some of their partners I know allow food shipments. Really their list of "prohibited items" is just a blanket of all the items that could, possibly, maybe, cause a problem for them. Really, this is just laziness combined with self-serving. So yeah. $50 dollars cheaper to put my shipment in the hands of a company that clearly either cant get their information straight or is flat out lying - no thanks! Ill ship with USPS over that any day.

they dont deal with damages very well at all and I have had so many missed collections its not funny ! I have lost allot of money because of this useless courier

Dont know which delivery this relates to as they dont tell you, usually very good but last but one delivery Parcelforce ran out of time to deliver, a bit hard to beleive as its march not christmas!!!
We ship a lot of parcels worldwide but only use parcelmonkey for UK parcels as we would not trust them as they have no phone support.
We only use parcelforce via parcelmonkey in the UK as our local depot is exceedingly helpful.
Parcelmonkey has so many get out clauses, like we only act as a comparison site which is ilegal under EU law as payment is to them therefore the contract is with them.
Its also about the only company who surcharge for paypal but I expect they will quit or be kicked of paypal now there own kongpay is here.

prompt, good price, fast delivery. The only reason i used parcel monkey was that ipostparcels totally let me down the day before, texting to say theyd arrive between 10.30 and 11.30 nobody came, when i went on live chat they said someone would be there by 6pm, at 5.45 i went on their live chat and was told the driver had already been and PAUL had said there was nothing to pick up, DOH, theres no Paul here, SO i used Parcel Monkey who were the same price, very prompt AND faster delivery, i will certainly use parcel monkey again

I had to wait the whole day (from 9 to 5.30) for them to pick up the parcels. They arrived, but the luggage has broken wheels and the boxes are in a pretty bad state.

Got a parcel from the UK to Germany, pick up in time at home, delivery in time, all within 2 days... And for half of what I would have paid with Royal Mail

So the set up and collection was perfect. Smooth and easy.
It is sitting at the Destination Country (still), and it is 8 days on...
However, I understand that could be customs in the destination country rather than the delivery companys fault (hence 4 stars)

Needed a parcel collecting that Id purchased through E bay so set it up with parcel monkey on line and 48 hours later at a tenth of the price quoted by anyvan.com(not kidding) it was with me. Awesome , will definite use this service again. You need a seller who cooperates and has a printer but thats about it. Thank you Parcel Monkey.

Thought, they work better abroad. No way. First, couldnt access the address because lack of brain to read the door code on the parcel. Phoned LT-depot. Impossible to get through (left fax instead of the phone nr?). Emailed the tracking nr and the code again. Dpd girl promised to arrange re-delivery for the next day. Same day afternoon new message on the tracking page stating the whole address is incorrect now. I have no good words for Dpd. Imagine tomorrow hemorrhage with horror. Never again...

The collection of the parcel in the UK was very quick, but my main problem was when the parcel got delivered to Mexico. I ended up paying more money then the parcel was worth even though the contents were listed on the package to avoid any extra cost.

Made an order with parcelmonkey, courier came to pick up my parcel and everything was good. 3 weeks later parcel monkey said i did not attach any invoices on the parcel hence my parcel has to be reverted back to me. I remembered clearly i attached 5 invoices. But it is ok, this is not the issue. Now the problem is that parcel monkey refuse to refund me the money i paid for the shipment. The parcel did not even reach its intended destination, so why am i not entitled to a refund? Im saying this based on the fact that the service wasnt being performed eventually. Parcel monkey kept telling me that it was due to the fact that i did not attach the invoice, so i cant get a refund. Does this even sound logical? So if customers make a mistake by not attaching their invoices, their money is as good as gone?

eBay parcel was too large for the Post Office, and I used ParcelMonkey to find out how best to ship it. I chose ParcelForce from the options, because they collected. There was some minor stress, because PF didnt collect until late afternoon (they said up to 18:00, so that was OK, but you do begin to wonder if they will ever turn up) and the parcel was delivered in the agreed time. Tracking was effective. Overall it was quite simple and painless, and the price seemed reasonable.

Much cheaper to go through this route, fraction of the cost compared to going directly to the courier, yet you get the same service from these couriers!

This was the first time I had used Parcel Monkey. Although the drop off shop gave me a card with a bar code and number there was no personal printout such as one gets with other parcel companies. I was not told when the parcel would be collected and no tracking was available for over 24 hours. I was given so many different numbers and two sites to use for tracking but in the end only one site and one number actually gave me information. This was very worrying and highly confusing. Only trial and error with different numbers finally got me to the tracking. More information on what to expect and how to track would have been helpful. Price was reasonable, including insurance.
