Happy with the service in general! the customer service a wee bit slow but helpful.

Positives- Nice user friendly website and they are competitively priced. On some occasions I have used their services and not encountered problems. Negatives- I have now had approximately 4-5 occasions where an item has not been collected on the day scheduled. On two of them literally NO ATTEMPT WAS MADE. As its at my work address and i finish at 4 (collection can be up until 6) I dont hear about the lack of collection until the following day meaning that by the time it is rescheduled the collection is three days late on average. If you ask when it is likely to be collected they say they cant give you an answer which is fair enough... on the first day! However, when things havent gone smoothly the first day, I would expect them to be at least a little proactive the second day to ensure that things go more smoothly to reduce customer dissatisfaction. Today this proved not to be the case. After no collection yesterday (AGAIN) with no reason given, I rescheduled for collection today and asked them to put a note on the collection " COLLECT PARCEL FROM RECEPTION" foreseeing problems of the delivery driver defaulting to the depot entrance and giving up which seems to happen quite often. They said they would. Today however, when I was forced to call Parcel Force directly due to Parcel Monkeys disinterest in helping, they said they had received no such message and so the parcel was not collected. Not sure if PM lied to me or if PF just like to ignore what their long time business partner tells them! When I told PM this they said they just said they would reschedule for tomorrow. My phone accidentally sent the message again and i got more or less an identical response but with a different first line. They then ignored my next message asking "What makes tomorrow different from your last two failed attempts? " and asking if I was talking to a robot because of all the stock answers I was getting ignoring anything Id asked in the messages. And that is where I am at the moment, trying to organise for my package to be collected three days late with a likely to be increasingly angry customer waiting for this delivery and still no assurances that it will actually get collected tomorrow. So in short: Cheap but you get what you pay for so expect 2 -3 days late collection on average. Poor disinterested customer service. You will get through to someone pretty quick but not sure if that person is a robot and if it is a human they sure dont act like it and wont make any effort to provide assistance outside of rebooking your delivery. Would i recommend them? As you can probably tell by my disheartened tone, NO! And if their sister site Kong is run anything like this one then I dont fancy their chances in the Virgin competition they are competing in.

Dont use Parcel Force I ten picked up from London ok,transfer to nation hub ok,transfer from Hub to Plymouth ok but Plymouth would not deliver to me,customer service really bad and on line tracking is a joke

Very competitive up-front price. The delivery was on-time and efficient. However I received an e-mail 4 days after delivery saying that my parcel was overweight and I had been charged £57. This was all as per the terms of the contract but its lateness meant that I could not confirm that the parcel was indeed overweight as I had since given it to someone as a gift. Also, although the additional charge was as per the agreed T&Cs I believe that it was not proportional to the actual costs incurred for handling of the additional weight. i.e. Delivery of package @ 30kg was £12. Additional charge for an additional 8kg. £57. It would be interesting to compare actual costs incurred by the company with what I was charged.

Didnt pick up from pickup location on the day that it was supposed to, parcel was several days late even though paid for premium service. Customer service reps not even interested in the slightest. Shocking service.

Parcel delivery promised between 1 to 2 days - delivered to collection depot at 3.30 pm and parcel delivered to addressee at 10.30 next morning.

First time user and a little wary about how good the service would be but to be honest it couldnt have been a better experience. Needless to say that Im very happy and would highly recommend.

Arranged a delivery to Dubai. Found website easy to navigate. Parcel was collected on arranged day and arrived in Dubai 3 days later. Excellent service.

Once again, I had the best experience with DPD seervice. Collection - easy. Tracking information - perfect. Delivery - exactly as indicated. Parcel arrived in a perfect condition. Price - absolutely accurate.

Booked through Parcel monkey, picked up by Parcelforce same day. You cant speak to parcelforce to chase an item this has to go through parcel Monkey. Item missing for over a month now, very apologetic but no sign of any recompense, will it ever be found - who knows, Best go direct to Parcelforce would be my suggestion.

Used Parcel Monkey before with no problem but this time I was sending two parcels. Both parcels ended up at opposite addresses to very disgruntled customers. It was due to a mistake Parcelforce had made, not Parcel Monkey. I will use them again as its fairly easy to set up.

Needed to post a large heavy parcel to rural Northern Ireland and after a web search Parcelforce happened to be the most cost effective provider. I was therefore surprised to find Parcel Monkey could offer the same service for less cost. Would have been nice to have notifications or a specific hour time-slot for when the courier was going to collect or drop off since the drivers are all connected these days, however this probably needs to come from Parcelforce first. Highly recommended for what they are able to do!

I use parcel monkey because I regularly ship items overseas with value of more than £250 which is Royal Mails compensation limit. 2 reasons I havent given 5 stars: 1. I have only ever found one post office who knows how to deal with the Parcelforce "drop at PO" service purchased through parcel monkey. If I hadnt persevered with trying to persuade the post office worker that she had to scan this prepaid contract parcel and give me a receipt I wouldnt have been able to use the service at all. And 2. Ive never had a parcel go missing so not sure how well parcel monkey deal with compensation claims.

I looked at a couple of courier websites and PM had the most competitive quote for my parcel to South Africa. Clear instructions. Efficient service. Parcel delivered within the quoted 4 day time period. I would use PM again & recommend to others. Only improvement in service could be the online "parcel tracking" facility as there were no updates for my parcel.

2 hours late to pick for a start, sent a bike which couldnt take the parcel as it was too big for the bike, I had already given you the measurements, so why on earth was a bike sent. Eventually sent out a van! Disappointed that I had to pay for a really really poor service!!!

I booked a parcel to go to France on Sunday evening. It was picked up by the courier on Monday morning and delivered in France on Wednesday afternoon. Great service at a great price.

Parcel tracking is the worst I have had but parcel did reach on time. It was very difficult to track my parcel as your website had no tracking information and I had to work it out that parcelforce just delivered to Norsk depo. Norsk website tracking was awful.

Good choice of delivery options with prices and easy to book and use. Only drawback is that it is not made clear when booking online that you have to print the label that has to be attached to the parcel and that this is sent by email . Website implies that the label will be provided and attached by courier.

What can I say about parcel monkey, well to start it doesn’t get its name for nothing, I think it is actually ran by monkeys, although I do think that is a slight insult to monkey. Shipping the parcel was quick and easy however, once it went missing the support staff were the most incompetent people I have ever had my misfortune to deal with. 4 months of repeated emails, miss information, and all out lies was all I received from them. After many attempts, 2 court letters, involvements of ADR companies and official complaints to citizen’s advice, trading standards and with no useful information coming from them, I finally managed to retrieve my parcel with the help of DPD who were very useful. All I can say I beware of this company, dig deeper into your pockets and go to a reputable shipping company, you will save yourself a lot of stress.
