Used Parcel Monkey to send clothes to Scotland from Essex. Opted for the DPD drop off service. Found it hassle free & very reasonably priced. Dropped off box locally on Monday & it was delivered on Wednesday. Both the recipient & I received emails Wednesday morning highlighting the delivery time & offering the option to deliver elsewhere if needed I.e. Neighbour. Would highly recommend this service.

The overall experience was acceptable, but the email sending the parcel label took way too long, and for myself caused a problem, as email arrived almost same time as courier.

I used parcel monkey to send a small parcel to a relative abroad. Paid for the 3 days delivery service on the and did not receive any label. After a while I contacted the company and they told me that the system did not produce a label because the postcode field can only accept numerical characters. The country I was sending the parcel to has alphanumeric characters in the postcode. No emails and no indications from the website, I had to contact the helpdesk to get the label. I finally received the label and I dropped the parcel on the morning of the 27th of January. The parcel reached its destination on the 5th of February - I complained and was advised that this was within contractual agreements. Staff is not rude, every single message was very apologetic but unfortunately the 3 days service is totally misleading. I will never use them again.

A straight forward and cost effective delivery service. Would help if tracking was updated on the Parcel Monkey site rather than having to check the courier company site.

I chose a 48 hour service and the parcel should have arrived latest on Tuesday but it took a day longer although the destination address is not too far from our address. Not very impressed. I chose DPD over Hermes because of the timeline but Hermes would have been probably faster.

Parcel Monkey is convenient as it will offer you a variety of shipping options from different companies for your package. Just put in the weight, measurements, and destination then press search for the best quote from a variety of sources detailing the price, insurance options, and delivery time. It is easier and cheaper than going to the post office in most cases. Although it is not possible to insure artwork or antiques with Parcel Force, the company I used, it is a very reliable and secure service. The only down side is that you have to wait in all day for the parcel company to pick it up. The package went from the UK to the USA in three days door to door. I would use them again.

I arranged two shipments through parcel monkey. One to France and one to the UK. The one to France wasnt delivered. However, the courier emailed an address to collect it from. The UK one, I have no idea what has happened to it. When I try to track it, it has 5 entries on the date of collection. The last entry states awaiting first delivery . 5 days later, no further information. At the weekend, the parcel monkey website message system is inactive. Instead you are offered a link to raise a support ticket. The link just sends you back to the home page. Very frustrating.

I paid £30 for a courier as I needed to get a parcel delivered urgently. I stayed in all day on the day they were due, and the next day but they still didnt turn up!! Very disappointed and out of pocket. I had to go elsewhere to get a courier who actually turned up.

I had high hopes having used your service once before, parcel was collected as arranged was carefully wrapped, padded & marked FRAGILE with 4 LARGE labels. Advised purchaser that parcel was en route. The next day I received a message from my buyer stating that the parcel had arrived and that he could hear that it was damaged despite being well wrapped so refused the delivery & got the driver to make a note. Two days later I missed the courier & had to collect the damaged parcel from the sorting office. Waste of time marking it Fragile no notice was taken of this. I will be making a claim on the Insurance, Doubtful that I will use this service again. R Hay****

After booking my courier the first collection was missed, rebooked for next day to have no one turn up, still 5 days later Ive not received my parcel and its not been collected, no contact from parcel monkey or parcel force and I can track as the no given to my is not correct. £13.00 this cost me and no parcel total waste of time and now have had parcel collected and delivered with 24hrs at a extra cost of £16.00. No telephone no for parcel monkey to get a refund and wont allow me to contact via mail. Would not use again and definitely would not recommend

Parcel collected by a very polite and friendly courier and delivered, undamaged, very quickly. Tracking system faultless and I am unable to fault the service in any way.

This was my first time using Parcel Monkey after being let down by another well known courier company. I am so pleased with the service, really straight forward and my parcel arrived in great condition. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

The service from day one entirely dreadful. Labelling was incorrect, Parcel Monkey was advised but failed to respond to emails from myself and DPD about correct address so parcel sat in DPD depot for weeks - DPD were trying to follow up with them to release delivery but they failed to respond. I was also trying no telephone number for parcel monkey and very vague, standard responses sent days late. ultimately DPD accidentally damaged and destroyed item - they notified Parcel Monkey who failed to notify me. spent a week chasing the status, which was to be returned to retailer. Ultimately DPD accepted fault and confirmed they would refund Parcel Monkey once they file a claim and they could refund me. Parcel Monkey despite emails from myself and DPD, refused to lodge any paperwork for a claim on my behalf telling me I would have to forfeit the cost of the item - £130. their only involvement was to file a claim and they threw back at me I didnt take out coverage insurance so they had no interest in pursing the claim. They failed to answer basic questions on why they failed to keep me updated, slowed the process down and refused to take basic steps to secure my payment, woeful woeful people. Avoid. Jason/James got my hopes up that I would receive a follow up email from you once you responded to my negative rating asking me to escalate the matter to you - but no response and no updates.

The first and the last time I am sending the parcel with dpd/monkey parcel. The parcel not delivered because the address could not be found! The flat is located where the main police dept is! Customer service is awful. The parcel disappeared, the only response I get from the customer service is "I will update as soon as I get a response"! No parcel, no information. Stay away to save your money

I posted a Christmas gift to the US in November (3 days service). Delivery was chased 20 times until Parcel Monkey agreed it was lost at the end of January. As I do not have a receipt for the gifts no claim is allowed (insurance is not any use). They have refunded the postage charge and think that they have done a great job. I would avoid.
