Ordered from Parcel Monkey, all went fine until the label printing - constantly failed. Contacted them and was told there was a system fault at their end and to wait 90 minutes. It was eventually available +3 hours later..

I asked for the parcel to be picked up from the shed because I knew Id be out. I wrote this specifically in the "notes" section. The delivery man came, but didnt pick it up. He left a calling card. Not a lot of use. I ended up taking it to my nearest post office, who refused it despite the call handler at parcel force telling me that all post offices should take it. I eventually did manage to find a (more distant) post office that was prepared to keep it for the parcel force driver, due next day, but could offer no guarantee that it would be picked up due to the lack of a barcode on the label printed off from Parcel Monkeys website. All in all, not a very convenient or reassuring service. Would I use it again? No, not unless I had no choice. The idea is a good one but there are too many people in the chain who apparently dont talk to each other. Luckily my means of making a living didnt depend on timely collection of the parcel, since it was a hobby thing rather than a business thing. Just as well.

The website is easy to use, and labels to print off, providing you possess a printer! The parcel is collected within an hour timeslot on the day arranged, and most importantly , it is tracked to its destination.Delivered promptly, on the promised day. I would recommend parcel monkey to anyone!

Sent a package from Dorset to Edinburgh, via DPD, for almost half the price of Royal Mail. ParcelMonkey service worked flawlessly. I chose DPD Pickup (which meant I dropped the package off at one of their collection points for onward despatch). I am usually very impressed with DPDs service, however this time there was a small hiccup. When using the Card Reference number for my drop-off to track the package, the website said "Your parcel is on its way BACK to you" with no explanation as to why this might be. Rather disconcerting. On enquiry to DPD customer service, it turned out that DPD recycle Pickup card numbers, and had not updated the status of this particular number, so I was getting the status message for somebody elses earlier consignment, not my own. A small procedural hiccup that I hope they will fix in future.

An excellent very efficient and reliable service. It was easy to find the best service and easy steps to follow. It took 4 days for my parcel to reach its destination in Melbourne Australia .

Quick, hassle free & even though there was traffic & my parcel would be delivered later than expected, the driver called me to advise of the ETA & also once he had delivered. Totally commendable service & will without hesitation use them again!

Never used parcel monkey before.
Used it to have excess baggage collected from my work to my home.
Used parcel force to do this through parcel monkey. Had no printer so used a service that did not require it. Booked the collection on Saturday so collection was for Monday.
they collected it before 9am so did not have to wait in so very happy about that. My delivery date was 2 days. It arrived around 1600hrs wednesday afternoon. With no damage very pleased with the service. Will defo use again

Great service, I just wish the online booking more user-friendly. When I got to the post office, I couldnt figure out which company we have actually booked the delivery with as it wasnt mentioned on the printout. The lady at the post office was able to find it by trial and error.
