There may be better deals for those sending more than 10 parcels a week Otherwise all internet booking services have similar rates for parcel delivery but Parcel Monkey Insurance rates are better and make a difference. They usually have the best deal.
BIG question is do any of the parcel Aggregators pay out Claims fairly or just take the extra money and then refer claimants to excluded items lists. I cant say as i have not needed to claim.
Another ? is why are parcel force own rates so consistently so much more for the same service? Except pf insurance is included at a high threshold.

This was my first time using Parcel Monkey and I am very happy with the service provided, my parcel was delivered from Scotland to Barcelona within 3 days, would strongly recommend them.

I used them for an international delivery to compare courier prices, which saved me loads of time and money as well (about £15 in total). The courier company did really well and the package was delivered on time, with lots of email and text updates too which I thought was really helpful if you want to know whats going on.

I booked and paid for a parceldelivery, however to date nobody has turned up to collect the parcel and nobody is answering their phones either.

You have booked a DPD Pick Up service which as advised in the booking process is a service where you drop the item into the shop and it is not picked up by the courier from your home address. We also do not offer a phone service as we have Live Chat open from 8am to 9pm so please contact us if you need help locating your nearest DPD location.

Do not under any circumstances use this company. They lost my parcel back in July and a month on we are still in a dispute over the compensation. You cannot contact them via phone (only online messages), their staff are rude, obnoxious and make you want to pull your hair out. I am in the process of submitting a small claims via the court, we must stamp out companies like this that have unethical practices If you want to discuss experiences with Parcel Monkey feel free to send me a private message

I am very sorry to hear the courier you chose on the Parcel Monkey quote engine has lost the item. We do not handle the goods as a carrier reseller, but our claims team will assist with lost goods. We do not offer phone support as we have real time, Live `Chat open daily 8am to 9pm to speak with agents and so they can gather the info needed from the carriers.

Easy to use, DPD stated Halford motor stores as a drop off point my local store refused to take the parcel, "we only take returns"???
Went to a local shop, no problem, very helpful, the parcel was collected by DPD, I was kept informed by text and email of progress.
Great service, I can recommend, I will use again, stay away from Halfords!!!

Hi Nick, thanks for the review, we do state not to drop into Halfords as they seem to have issues there but DPD still list them as locations so sorry for the confusion!

I had an important letter to go from UK to China. I arranged through Parcel Momkey for DHL to pick the letter up from my house on Monday 8th August 2016. On said day I had an email to say the letter would be picked up between 8am and 6pm, at 1.00pm a DHL driver came picked up the letter. I then could track the progress of the letter at each stage it went through by Wednesday 4am (English Time) the parcel was delivered to my son in China.
To be very, very pickie I would have liked an estimated time of pick up. But in all the whole system worked very very well.

Thanks for the review Bernadette, we do not pick the items up so cannot offer a time slot, but if on your next booking it is easier, book a drop off service and then you can take to Post Office if you book Parcelforce or DPD Pick Up shop. Hope this helps!
Asked a friend in the UK to ship some stuff over to me in New Zealand.
I was able to book and pay for the parcel from home and my friend just had to print out the labels and drop the parcel off to a Post Office. Easy as...

Wrote notes to courier in the relevant section which were not passed on meaning my parcel wasnt collected on the intended day. Whole booking process just isnt as painless as on parcel to go, not being able to print labels straight away is annoying, usaully use the drop off service and go to a local post office but couldnt this time not sure why, I suspect it was because the parcel was 160cm long, although I did the same transaction through parcel to go awhile ago and it allowed me to use the drop of with the same size parcel, would use parcel monkey again but parcel to go a much easier experience in my opinion.

The parcel was damaged and partly open at one side although I warped it with tape. It was luck that nothing was lost. Beside of that everything was ok.

I purchased a 24-48h option and all went smoothly to leave the UK. Once it left the UK it took almost a week to arrive at its destination - which was too late!!

I am sorry to hear the item was not collected, we at Parcel Monkey do not employ the collection drivers we hand the booking over to the courier. We do offer a drop off service on the Parcel Monkey website for the Post Office where you can save money on shipping costs, by ordering the label online, and attach to the box before dropping into your local PO.

Makes choosing the most appropriate and cost effective service easy. Booking was simple and collection as expected. Would have loved it more if I could have had an indication as to what time to expect the collection.

I tried to use your service to arrive for the delivery of a package. I received the confirmation email and was told that I would receive the necessary customs and delivery labels within half an hour. These never arrived and your website provided no contact numbers to enable this issue to be resolved and therefore I was forced, given the urgency of my package delivery, to find an alternative provider for this service. Given that I have received no service from yourselves in this regard I expect a full refund of the costs incurred.

Sorry to hear the labels and docs did not come through they are generally emailed or show on your account homepage when you are logged in. We do not offer a contact number as our Live Chat team are on hand Monday to Friday 8am to 9pm to answer any questions you may have. Often if the label has not been sent, the mistake is on the shipping addresses.

Finally a postal service which guarantees delivery in Europe and promptly. Slightly more expensive than Royal Mail - but worth the security of knowing itll get there and not be sent back!

The telescope tripod body suffered damaged during shipping. It was encapsulated in bubble warp. For some reason the delivery company decided to git it rough handling without due respect and care.

I got the quote with Parcelforce, filled all the required fields just to find out in the end Parcel Monkey is unable to send my item as these are alloy wheels & tyres which are on their prohibited item list... I can send Alloy Wheels with Parcelforce through any other company but not with Parcel Monkey for some reason! Unreasonable Prohibited list that needs updating! They list pretty much every car part in there. Shame Shame Shame

Sorry to hear about this issue, we have a prohibited items list to ensure items that we cannot cover are not sent as we do not want them to get damaged and the customer to be out of pocket. Alloys and tyres are assumed to be pressurised so we cannot carry these as it is dangerous and could damage other items in transit with them. You can send alloys on our services as long as they are well packaged and the dimensions are declared accurately.
