Booked a next day collection for ParcelForce 24. The parcel was collected as expected and delivered next day so all good. The only issue is that ParcelMonkey claimed no printer was required for this service but then emailed me a label to print out! I did this as a precaution but was expecting the driver to bring a label anyway. He didnt. So No printer required actually means a printer is definitely required!

Having been told that I could not send a parcel over 2 kgs from my local post office, to New Zealand, despite contrary advice on the Royal Mail website, and I would need to use a courier, I was plunged into despair. Then I found Parcel Monkey. The best of it was that the cost of sending was £30 cheaper than the Royal Mail quote! of course, the parcel hasnt yet made it to destination yet so this may be a prematurely good rating but the process was easy, and the courier comes to your place, so no lugging a heavy parcel around. Life Saver! Lesson: avoid Post Office/Royal Mail.

The first time I used Parcel Monkey and I would not use them again. My parcel was two days late. No explanation. No contact from Parcel Monkey. A huge inconvenience and time wasted. I requested a refund and was referred to their "Terms & Conditions" which cover them for the parcel being 5 days late. Totally unacceptable. One bad experience is enough. Never again.

Sorry to hear your parcel arrived late, we do not handle the delivery of the goods as we are a reseller, so we take the booking and send on our discounted rates with the carrier. This means the handling of the parcel will be the same as if you booked direct with the carrier, but at a lower cost. Due to the fact we do not handle the items, the couriers give an estimated time frame for delivery, so the time frame is not a guarantee, although the majority of the time the carriers meets the time frame advised. This is why we state at the time of booking to check the terms as we advise the 5 working days policy.

Sorry to read that your parcel has arrived and been damaged in transit, we do not handle the parcels but we take the booking and hand it over to the courier of your choice. If this item has been damaged, we would advise that you raise a support ticket and address FAO Claims and we can then pass it over to the relevant department who can liaise with the carrier on the issue of your damaged item.

Sorry to hear DPD have not collected this item, we have tracked this and it is due for a collection today for you. Parcel Monkey do not make the collections, we hand the booking over to the courier you choose via the quote engine and they then come and collect.

I knew exactly where my parcel was by the tracking option. Excellent service. Took 1 week to arrive & had 2 very happy children opening the contents of the parcel. Would highly recommend & definitely use you again ..... cant thank you enough!

sent an 8kg parcel to Switzerland - tracked and insured for less than £26 - arrived in the three days quoted. Printed documents in library and dropped off at post office. Excellent service - the cheapest I found! - Rob -Mid Wales

The Parcel Monkey site was good and user friendly and offered lots of choice of carrier. Our mistake was in choosing ParcelForce - although they collected our parcel on the date arranged they managed to send it to the wrong delivery depot. Even though the parcel was clearly labelled they had to return it to their hub depot for re-sortation. So instead of the stated two-day delivery time it was five days before they arrived at the delivery address. Admittedly this was over a weekend, but even so...

Switched some of our overseas parcels to Parcel Monkey a few months ago, on the basis of price, and so far so good.
Main gripes are the labels take ages to generate, competitor sites do it instantly
Tracking is abysmal. If you can print the tracking number on the label, surely you can link it on the website. I shouldnt have to write it down and manually enter it into the couriers website.

When I had a problem with my delivery, they initially refused to refund my money, claiming it wasnt their fault. Eventually they offered me a "full refund" which turned out not include all the money I paid. Customer services where very unhelpful, obstructive and rude throughout. They maybe cheap, but if youre looking for a company wholl fix things if they go wrong Id look elsewhere.

Tried to send a parcel to oman, took my 50 pound ok then parcel went sat at depot for days before been returned to parcel monkey office in southampton? saying item prohibited even though i checked on list of prohibited items before and after and no mention of my item then charged me further 35 pound to get it back ,disgusting service avoid use a parcel company direct leave out these monkeys,

Sorry to hear about your issue with the return, Parcel Monkey do not handle the parcels and they carrier would return the goods based on the contents if there was something inside prohibited. If something is sent that should not of been, there is a charge for the goods to be processed back and returned to the sender. If you are unhappy with the reasoning for this consignment being returned, let us know via a support ticket addressed as FAO Manager and we can assist.

for the recent parcels i sent via your system both i had to reschedule, which meant they were not picked up on the right day then the first driver picked up both parcels and later that day another driver turned up to collect the second of the two, which had already been collected by the first driver

I was really pleased with my first booking however, the tracking facility does not work. My parcel was booked on Tue 10th and arrived in Dubai on Sun 15th and yet even now (17th), the tracking page shows that my "Collection is booked". Used the online chat facility to find out where the parcel was and this was very helpful
