Parcel Monkey is great, until something goes wrong. Almost zero customer service, just a couple of people on a messenger service, copy and paste replies. Cannot speak to anyone on the phone. On their site, they insist you dont contact the courier companies. How can you not, when their customer service is so poor?

I had sent a parcel and paid for it in GBP and was told that it will reach the destination in 3-5 days. But it took 2 weeks and I had to pay double the amount to get the parcel delivered to my place. I still havent got the parcel yet. I dont know whom to complain about this. I had to pay at my hometown again. The personelle are rude and very rough and abrupt. Balaji and Peter not only "extorted" money but were utterly impolite.

Everything fine except parcel monkey asked for more money after the parcel was paid for and sent. My parcel was 36x31x16cm @ 1.2kg, I gave the exact measurements as required and the weight and I paid the amount quoted! but they said this:Using the dimensions you provided, this equates to a volumetric weight of 3.60kg and this is the weight you were originally charged for. When weighed, laser scanned for precise measurement and volumetrically calculated by they have informed us that the correct billing weight was in fact 5.50kg. BEWARE!

The price was okay, cheaper offers than other websites... just i had a problem with the paper to stick on the parcel, wasnt clear which one use, unfortunately i used the wrong one and had to stick at the moment the other one in the post office

Having weighed my package on multiple scales, a jacket and trousers, it came out to 3kg. Having collected the parcel travelling to America, which was collected in a timely fashion it has to be said, I was then informed days later that the package had been weighed by the courier to be 7.5kg which is a clear lie. I was then automatically almost double charged.

Excellent service - parcel arrived in New Zealand very quickly. Only thing I can think of that could be improved would be if you could give a timescale for the parcel collection - even if it is a window of a few hours.

It seemed too good to be true when I saw the price but I didnt encounter any catches. My parcel was sent using parcel force 48 but for half the price I would have paid if I had used them directly. I was a little bit confused by the parcel monkey website but that might have been because I was in a rush. I thought I had to log on to print my label and couldnt find it anywhere but it turned out I had to wait for it to be emailed to me. But that was a minor complaint overall.

Got a quotation from a couple of companies to return an expensive built in microwave to the suppliers. Parcel monkey was less than half the price of Royal Mail. Service was fantastic, kept you up to date with emails and handy you could track the parcel so you know when the parcel is delivered & signed for. Will 100% be using them again. Thanks

Easy to book, efficient and quick.
The person sending the parcel has no printer so I selected a listing that said "no printer required" - (driver brings labels). Once booking was complete, parcel monkey sent me an email telling me I had to print off a label and attach it to parcel. - I had to contact customer services to confirm what was going on. Finally confirmed driver would bring labels. Service could be less ambiguous.

Whilst the site is definitely good for comparing services between courier companies, having little to no communication with the courier company means that expectations of delivery timing (especially if its urgent) are not being fulfilled. My parcel was delivered several working days late for no reason at all when it was reflected online that it had reached a depot in the other country and remained in limbo for days.

Had a look online as found some of the parcel companies very expensive and this was a return of incompatible item.
The pricing was very very reasonable and the instructions easy to follow.
I was able to track the pickup and subsequent delivery. Was impressed with the courtesy of the driver.

The process works fine, but on more than one occasion the website has frozen and I have had to start again.
When you request a point to point pick up it is not always clear on the courier choice what level of service is available e.g. pick up/labels supplied, etc.
