I have sent a number of parcels though Parcel Monkey this year and was very happy until today when I received notice of an additional charge on a parcel sent to the US. This claimed that when "laser scanned" by ParcelForce my parcels volumetric weight had increased from 13.70kg to 14.30kg so there was an extra charge. I had deliberately used slightly larger dimensions when booking this than the actual parcel so I know for a fact that this is garbage. I had read about this tactic from other reviews and although the additional charge is small, this has severely damaged my confidence in this Company. I have sent hundreds of parcels all over the world for several years and NEVER been charged in this way before, so I know this is just about making an extra profit. If they adopt this tactic it will be impossible to gauge the actual cost of any parcel sent and you will always be open to additional charges. So that is my custom lost for the future. I hope the extra charge was worth it.

The dpd map is not accurate. It took 4 hours and several request to receive the postage label. I would not use this service again.

Parcel not arrived cant phone anyone only live chat which is useless. Cant phone courier so basically cant do anything and paid for signed delivery but parcel has vanished. Wint use tou again

I couldnt believe how cheap these guys were. Parcel 2 go tried to shaft me with a cost of £25 for a 30kg package. Parcel Monkey did it for £12 and with next day delivery. Utterly insane.

The delivery process couldnt have been easier, I didnt even have to print the address label! No hiccups or delays and even though I used parcel force it was 40% cheaper than taking my very heavy parcel to the post office to use the exact same service!

Generally theyve been pretty good. Although they went through a rough patch a couple of years ago, the company seems to have picked up again. Have used them for a few years and they generally offer a reliable, and economical, option.
No problems this time - parcel arrived intact in Europe without any issues. Ill use them again.

Appalling service, I paid delivery and insurance for a heavy item to be shipped, only for it to be damaged and after more than 3 months of protracted form filling and photographs of the damage was only offered £40 for an item that cost £140!

Great for discount courier services but if anything goes wrong the customer service is appalling. There is no telephone support and they can only be contacted via online messaging. You never get a response from the same person so nobody at Parcelmonkey really knows what is going on with your case. To make matters worse some of the customer service staff just tell lies to clear off the enquiries. I was told two days ago that an investigation had been raised with Parcelforce regarding a missing package, Parcelforce have just told me that they have not received any such request. This isnt the first time Ive had this problem either...
