OK, DPD messed it up by missing the collection but that was just the start of things - between them and the monkeys they managed to allow the recipient change the delivery address of a parcel (which I had paid for insurance on) to an address/parcel drop off that refused to take delivery due to (depending who you actually believe) the drivers scanner not working, the parcel being too big for that service (despite me dropping it off at a local drop off point), the drop off point not being able to accept parcels. The recipient eventually had to drive to the local depot to collect as despite Parcel Monkey assuring me the parcel would be delivered the following day, the recipient had been told by DPD that it was going to be returned to me. So, if you are happy to pay for an inferior service where lying and disinterest and passed off as customer service I wholeheartedly recommend this bunch of cowboys. If on the other hand (like me) you expect that the terms next day delivery mean just that and not sometime next week delivery if you are lucky avoid them like the plague because they couldnt care less.

I have used ParcelMonkey a couple of times now to send parcels overseas. Easy booking system and at a fraction of regular parcel costs. I will definitely use again in the future.

I used the DPD classic service via Parcel Monkey, its worth noting the delivery aspect is very much the courier themselves so ignore some of the reviews moaning about delivery. The Parcel Monkey platform is a great idea and made it very convenient to review my options to deliver to Europe and engage with couriers. Nice idea delivered very well. Hats off to the developers.

Parcel monkey is a very apt name as its run by a bunch of monkeys! Day 1: Called at 4pm to check if the courier is coming.... "dont worry sir... theyll be there". No show! Day 2: in the afternoon ask that they call the courier given no show in prior day and actually confirm that they will come. Told to wait and be patient. No show again. Utterly frustrating experience as I stayed in from 8am to 6pm on two consecutive days and they couldnt even be arsed to call the courier and check whether they are coming. Do not use!!! I got no compensation for the loss of my time. Only a refund.

Pick ups and deliveries are fast - I cant remember any delivery delays, boxes are allowed to weigh 30kgs (instead of 25kgs with pretty much all other carriers), prices are good + my area driver is a nice guy!

I would find it much easier if the time would be specified. Collection was good, however with the delivery it could be improve. On the shipment tracker it was still showing that the parcels are in the delivery depot, not ready as yet to be delivered, minute later the parceles were delivered. For the record most of people are working from Monday to Friday so it would be useful to give 4 hour slot time, many thanks for service!

The carrier failed to another couriers, 3 huge and heavy boxes. I was moving out of my property the next day so I had no choice but pay extra and deliver them to a depot - expensive and very inconvenient!!! I have asked Parcelforce for refund and they agreed straight away (like any reputable company would) however because the service was booked with Parcelmonkey they said I have to deal with them directly. Parcelmonkey however do not feel liable for my wasted money and time and refuse to refund me! horrible company, will never use them and will warn all my friends!!!!!!!

No issues, the only comment I would make is that the Tracking information the recipient can be given from Parcel Monkey was not updated very quickly, they do say it can take 24hrs, the parcel was delivered before any information was available by this method. I was however given another Tracking number by the courier DPD and was able to email this to recipient including the expected time of delivery.

Excellent service picked up on time from my home and arrived at the destination as stated in two days from pickup.
only one small point, parcel post were reluctant to take charge of delivery at first because there was no bar code label sent to me to print out and stick on the parcel?
There was no problem, parcel was processed and delivered on time without any issues. Perhaps more clarity required on parcel Monkey web site!

I sent a package to North America. It was delayed and delivered late. I asked Parcel Monkey to chase up the courier for compensation as the delay had caused issues. This they did only to come back and quote some Ts & Cs. I was not happy with this and asked Parcel Monkey if I could contact the courier directly. They didnt mind me doing this. After contacting the courier, who did not dismiss my complaint, they explained that as Parcel Monkey were the client contact I would have to go back to them. This I did; at which point PM said they would go back to the courier on my behalf and get back to me ASAP. After waiting a further two weeks I contacted PM again as they had not replied. They wrote back to me quoting the same set of Ts & Cs previously offered, said Id signed up to them and as such they were not willing to provide compensation. So the courier was willing to listen, Parcel Monkey werent. Will not be using this company again as they have no idea what real customer service is.

Hi All We sent a item through Parcel Monkey which suffered damage in the shipping process. The courier DX admitted liability but Parcel Monkey would not refund the compensation for the damage as they did not have a agreement with DX for any damage occurred. They spout on about inadequate packing and will not payout on any compensation claims as they will say that its been inadequately packed, a nice get out on ever having to pay customers what they are owed. They are honestly the worst company I have dealt with and I have now left my first negative review of a company in my 34 years on this planet! My advice dont use parcel MONKEY go directly through the courier and at least if they damage it you can get compensation instead of having to email Alexandra who can only type what is written in a script in front of her.

Ive used parcel monkey a couple of times now and its the quickest, easiest way to send a parcel. I use it a lot for sending large items and all you need is the details of the parcel - weight ,size and destination. I will be using these guys again.

You can trust this company!!!! I booked a parcel for sending to abroad, it cost me £23.50 at the first, after they picked up, they email me to say that my measurement was wrong, so they charged me another £2-£3 on my debit card. then 2 days later, they email that my parcel has contained something not allow to post, so they say that I have pay Further £20 for sending back to me or they will destroy the parcel. what can I do, I paid them another £20 for sent my parcel back. ALL I HAVE PUT IN THE PARCEL WAS A PAIRE OF LADIES BOOTS AND 2 BOTTLES OF FISH OIL CAPSULES.

the delivery address was the clearing agent - which was unknown to us and did not understand why it was not our delivery address - we queried this and caused a days delay - unnecessary delay!
