Website ease of use 4 stars. Cost for international shipping 5 stars Guaranteed two day priority shipping ( UK to Germany. ) ZERO STARS. I recieved an email stating my parcel had sustained damage. After FIVE days my parcel is still undelivered and is now apparently in a German sorting office somewhere!!! I dont normally write reviews but seeing as I was sent the "Please rate us (didnt we do well) email I thought I would share.

I ordered a 48 express delivery for same day pick up which never came. This cost a lot of money and have caused a lot of inconvenience. I complained twice and eventually the arranged a new collection due today A week after the original order was placed) and has yet to be collected. There is no contact number and the online chat is not consistent as you get a different person for each response. I have not yet received an explanation as to why the first collection failed and offered compensation considering I paid a premium amount for a fast service. This has cost the company a lot of money in hiring replacement items.

It was simple to book in the parcel. I was able to leave it with a local shop. It was cheaper than ParcelForce and easier to drop the parcel at a shop, than try to get to a large Post office .

I was charged a further "document" and "handling" fee by the local dpd courier. This should have been covered in the original quote!!! I was further charged an additional fee because the volumetric weight was higher than the actual weight...I gave accurate dimensions to begin with, so this should not have happened

Collection not as agreed, ie three days later, but once collect fast delivery with helpful drivers who will carry heavy boxes. Overall a good service.

Booked a 24 hour next day delivery service for collection Wednesday and delivery Thursday. I saw the courier van drive by without stopping, so I called the person where the parcel was being collected from, it was still there! Nobody from Parcel Monkey had advised me of the failed collection, it was only because I chased it up the problem was realised. When I contacted them they knew it hadnt been collected and would schedule collection for the next day (Friday) and delivery the following Tuesday - what rubbish, this was meant to be picked up Wednesday and delivered Thursday! After some obviously pre written hollow apologies I cancelled and found iParcel, who were not only cheaper but they would deliver on a Saturday - something which parcel monkey said could not be arranged! - thats all on top of me picking a service which said it doesnt need a label printing (my collection point dont have a printer) - only to pay and then be told a label MUST be printed! - Poor service full stop.

Parcel was not collected by DPD even though we were at home the whole time.. Received a text message message saying we need to reschedule as the "attempted delivery" failed! Mainly DPDs fault but they should pick their partners more carefully!

We needed our John Lewis king-size mattress shipped to our holiday cottage. I purchased a heavy duty mattress bag from a packaging company and securely taped the open end of the bag. Paid the £98 including insurance. Their partner, DX arrived to collect. There was only the driver and he obviously couldnt lift it on his own. So he dragged it to the van. My wife drove the 100+ miles next day to take delivery. Again it was delivered by one man, who dragged it across the gravel parking area and the front garden. The mattress was in an appalling condition. This was a perfect mattress (2 years 6 months old). The packaging was ripped off and hanging on in one corner. rips everywhere and was covered in dirt and scuff marks. There was set of footprints where someone had walked over it. The mattress was completely ruined. We have now been refunded our parcel costs (£88) and the cost of the mattress (£699), fortunately, I took out the optional insurance. The whole refund/claim process took two weeks. I was very firm and provided photographs, receipts etc. We now have the hassle of getting a new mattress, will get it delivered directly to the cottage this time, they wont refund the disposal costs (£38) . We now have a king size mattress taking up space in an already small cottage, until the local council can collect. Another 200+ mile round trip. Parcel Monkey (as of 25/05/17) are still offering to ship mattresses through DX. Dont. Hire a van and do it yourself, it was a false economy, wasted a day of my wifes time and 200+ miles worth of fuel.

Ive not used this type of service before. The order was easy to set up. My package was picked up in the UK and 3 days later safely delivered in South Africa which I am very pleased with. The cost was reasonable.

Claimed they would collect parcel on a specific day, had to take a second day off work as they didnt deliver on the basics and my parcel wasnt collected. Very dissapointing service. The online help team, especially Barbara was very unhelpful and when I wanted my case escalated to higher management, she kept palming me off and not giving me the information I requested. Extremely unhappy and wouldnt recommend this service unfortunately. Still awaiting reply from management now.

Parcel monkey has always been a good site for comparing prices in the past but today I got a better price by going direct to the site of an individual courier company and their price was less on their own website than on parcel monkey so I was surprised I thought parcel monkey gave the cheapest it appears not in this instance

It got there one day sooner then the tracker said.so im happy.
Alot of spots were you can leave the pack in.big plus.
Also the price was spot on what i wanted to spend.
Great service for the money and if you dont need the pack to get there un 2 day and you can be ok wuth 4 days then its a great service.
