Booked to have a parcel picked up and no one showed up. Parcel monkey dont have a telephone number so I had to argue things out over web chat. After over an hour I found out that their sustems failed to generate a tracking number to odd to the courier and so the courier never bothered to turn up - a days holiday for nothing! Then I was told that they couldnt re-book as it had been over 5 business days (!!!!!!). After a lot of to-ing and fro-I got I find out that that according to them it had been more than 5 business days between me booking the pickup online and having them come out to actually pick up. Even though I actually selected the date - thats doesnt matter. After cancelling this stupid brain of mine realised that it had only been 4 business days. So when I called them up on it and told them that I had based my decision on incorrect info they had given me, their response was "it cancelled now, nothing can be done about it. If you want a collection you will have to re-book". Stay away. The concept of customer service is a myth with these people.

Id never sent a parcel before - not even in a post office - but Id heard friends say theyd used online services to save money. I had to send a large hifi amp for repair, so after a bit of googling came across Parcel Monkey. I purchased a Parcelforce 24 hour collection / delivery for half the price it would have cost from Parcelforce directly. The Parcel Monkey T&Cs are quite scary if you read them (they can change the carrier, for example) and for most items you cant choose an insured option (I had to declare my expensive amp as worthless to proceed with the online purchase). However, for me the end result was identical to a normal Parcelforce collection / delivery, so I have no complaints.

It seems like Parcel Monkey is making fun of me! For the second time now (yesterday and today) they told me dpd was coming to another courier at a specific time but no one has ever showed up. Plus I have received emails and texts saying Sorry you were not available. Is it a joke? Yesterday I wasted all my day waiting in and today same thing - the time slot you told me has already passed and again, no one has showed up. I made more than a ticket and they keep saying sorry for the inconvenience but they are doing nothing to let me understand whats going on and to solve my problem. Worse experience ever! THIS IS SERIOUSLY UNACCEPTABLE!

If I could give zero stars I would. Services stated 1-2 days delivery. My parcel was not picked up on the day, I have to send more than 10 emails to reschedule pick up for next day which was Friday. The parcel was only delivered on Tuesday - 4 days after the order was placed.

Having put on the weight and size paid the price asked to be messaged a week later saying you had undergarments and would be taking another £2.80 was bad enough of lying to hearrange from the parcel recipient that item arrived broken

actually booking on the internet and pick up - great but was not advised of further custom charges in new zealand and now struggling to get this parcel through customs and with time difference this is very difficult - also on top of this DHL are now suggesting they might charge storage fees - very disaapointing this is not part of your information

I use Parcel Monkey for large or heavy parcels that are outside the range of normal parcel services or for overseas shipments and they usually come up trumps.
However recently they gave me a low estimate a couple of times based upon initial information while the actual cost based upon full information was higher. Hence only 4 stars.

Le service parcelmonkey en soi est correct, mais nutilisez surtout pas DPD !!! Jai annulé, Le colis nayant pas été retiré, après 10 jours dattente ! Inacceptable et incompétents total.. Avoid DPD when you choose the company that will collect your package. 10 days waiting to collect my goods so I canceled because never picked up!!

Arranged for parcel to be collected on 05/07/17 and paid for next day delivery as there was an urgency for the parcel to arrive asap. The courier did not turn up, I contacted them by web chat and they said the courier would attend the next day 06/07/17. Guess what, they didnt. Again I contacted them and they said the courier would attend the next day 07/07/17 fininally they did. Owing to being the weekend the parcel was delivered on 10/07/17. The was late and cause great inconvenience and financial loss. The web chat is rubbish and there is no contact number to speak to anyone. Parcel monkey - bunch of monkeys - would not recommend.

Worst company I have ever used for booking a parcel. They make fake promises and mislead the customer by giving wrong delivery date information on their website. If you speak to courier directly, they would say there is no such service available. They dont have a phone helpline only email. May be 1 star is for email customer service team who were quite quick to respond otherwise nothing good about this company. I advise you to speak to courier company directly before you book parcel with parcelmonkey so you know if that service exists which Parcel Monkey is offering or they are just trying to trap a customer for money

ParcelMonkey in themselves were great. They delivered as far as the UK side of matters were. The only feature that takes a bit of getting used to is that any contact is via a virtual internet enquiry service (i.e. no contact telephone to speak to someone). However the consultants were quick to respond & reply. The reason I didnt give ParcelMonkey 5 stars is because of an issue that arose on the recipient side (in South Africa). The agent there acting for DPD (the UK agent I selected) made an error which delayed the delivery of my parcel by one week in South Africa.
