Steer clear of using this company!! I sent a parcel that was meant to be delivered in 4-7 days and it took over 10 days then 3 weeks later I get informed theyve taken and extra £17 out of my account as the weight of the parcel was 6kgs and not 1.8kgs. The parcel was not even 1.8kgs it was less but I overstated it to be on the safe side now they say as I have no photographic evidence of this the charges stand. How is this right?!?! Why is it automatically assumed Ive made the mistake and not the courier company!!?! Shocking shocking company procedures, do not use this company. Whats interesting to note is that I see Im not the only one who has had this experience after reading the reviews.

Quick and easy way to send parcels internationally. Very competitive prices - the best ones I could find actually (Royal Mail prices were more than double) and their service partners were still the most popular names in the industry. Receiving the labels could be faster as it took about 20 minutes but still - I booked in the evening and got it collected in the morning so wasnt much of an issue.

Today I have been charged an "oversized surcharge" which is an absolute scam! I work for a shipping company and very accurately measured and weighed this parcel, I even removed items from the parcel to make is under a certain weight for cost reasons. I have been informed that someone has re-measured it with "lasers" and found its 500 grams more than what I claimed? ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE!! 17 days now and the parcel still has not been delivered. Dont use Parcel Monkey and dont use DPD for any sort of international deliveries. What a joke.

Dear Mike. First of all Im very disspointed the way youll are handling this.I have got a very rude msg from your customer service asking me to scan my copy of the invoices.and there is no apologize at all,and DPD called me even there the third party company and said its your company fault .but upto now I have not got any solution at all.You have said its duty tax but I have send the same items to srilanka before with parcel force-Royal Mail and they did not charge any duty.Only reason I used youll is the delivery is cheper.Now I know the reason youll do have hidden charges,I would have use Royal Mail.Its a good lesson for all the customers using your site.you pay bit extra and its not a hassel to the reciver.Its very emmbarseing when you send a birthday gift and then you go and charge them its duty,I understand if its really the duty charge but I have sent exacly the same before to my mother and did not get charge duty with parcel force.DPD explained(company you use to deliver) its coz of your company,I need a refund to my reciver and proper explanation

Appalling service. I booked and paid for next day delivery. They then emailed to say they would another courier 30 hours later and deliver it 4 days time! This is totally shameless, unprofessional and in complete breach of contract. I will never use again and would not recommend these Parcel Monkeys to my worst enemy.

I paid for next day delivery of a parcel going to germany. It did not arrive the next day, as paid for and expected, but arrived 4 days later. I only paid such a high price to deliver in time for a family members birthday, and would not have used the service if i knew it would not be delivered as advertised. I will not use parcelmonkey again.

Brilliant service - kept up to date on where the parcel was on its journey. My daughter the recipient also fully kept informed. The destination is quite a remote part of Portugal - so even more impressive. Everything arrived intact.

Having sent a parcel to Northampton and it arriving Cyprus I am not too impressed. Especially when ParcelMonkey says "We are just the agent" and REFUSE to help. ParcelMonkey liked taking our money though. The website (on inputting addresses) is a mess- e.g Post Code finder finds an address with "St." in the title and refuses to accept this (does not like a full stop) - and then wont let you edit it. The only way is to start over and try and input manually. Or, like I normally do, give up!

I used parcel Monkey and chose DPD, a week later the parcel hasnt arrived. I have had to reimburse the buyer and am hoping the parcel will be returned to me. I paid an initial £9 and an additional £10 trying to get this parcel delivered 23 miles and it is still somewhere in transit!

item sent to Germany - attemped one delivery then returned the item back to Uk - sot another £36.00 to have it shipped back to me so £70 overall and the parcel is back here .... Poor

Love the service dpd provide; having one hour time slot so not waiting home all day. Courier is always efficient and lovely to talk to and only takes 2 days for my parcels to go international which is fantastic.

This is the first time I have used Parcel Monkey and I must say I am very impressed. Excellent service, easy to use website. Parcel was picked up midday and delivered next morning. Highly recommend. Will definitely use again.

Insurance - Non payout When i claimed for a bladly damaged parcel I was made to go through a 3 week process before they finally denied the claim as the initial submission was a day late. The damage to the item has affected my business and reputation. The parcelmonkey responses were generic and my claim was not reviewed adequately.

It has been very good so far ,many different options and different prices to suggest ,ParcelMonkeys own service is very fast but bit expensive I was so happy so far the only reason I dont give 5 stars is despite of very good communication tracking system has problem and every time you need to go back to costumer service and ask "where is my parcel now?"
There is no hidden charge as I have seen in other similar sites. Thanks

Terrible experience. Pickup times between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Two days of sitting around and waiting for a pickup. Twice rescheduled and no one shows. Finally the company just decided to cancel my shipment as it had been 5 days since I ordered the courier service. My advice, go straight to the big shippers (Courier, UPS, etc) and dont waste your time with useless brokers such as this.

Failed to collect. Despite me contacting them to tell them the link THEY had sent me showed that the collection was cancelled they insisted this was not the case and that the parcel would be collected in the next 2 hours. People waited in vain. No collection. No apology. No explanation. No compensation. Dreadful service. Avoid like the plague.

The service was cheap, easy, straight forward and timely. I paid less than £22 to send a parcel from the UK to Nigeria (it is amazing), and it was delivered in 7 days.
