Get Driver to give a printed receipt for collection rather than rely on customer having to ask fo handwritten signature as proof.

Good idea but this is something that would have to be developed by the courier's themselves.
your online service is simple to use and very quick. you have also settled a recent insurance claim with minimum fuss acting professionally
