This process really does work and can deliver much better prices than going direct to the courier. I have used them a number of times and so far so good. Watch out for the small print on claiming for loss or damage as sometimes these dont match the couriers offer.

Rather than going through the royal mail service I did it via parcel monkey and saved 25% for exactly the same service.

Parcel Monkey was recommended to me and initially I found it hard to understand how they could be so much cheaper than my local post office with the same carrier. But they were! The parcel was left outside my door collected, and delivered the next day. I can see no point personally in using any other service in the near future.

This is the second time i have been using parcel monkey, their website is very easy to navigate and get prices, my parcel has been picked up on the same day delivered within days to europe and i can track the progress, and i am happy with the price.

On 12/6/15 I went on parcel monkey site as my printer wasnt working and it showed some companies brought printed labels. Parcel Force picked up parcel and I was a little concerned when driver said labels were at the depot. I neednt have worried as lets face it Parcel Force is a household name and also as I was able to track it within a few hours and it showed exact time it had been picked up. Tracking was so simple and on the Tuesday morning It arrived at destination and when I tracked again it showed signature of recipient. Very impressed.

I was quite impressed with Parcelmonkeys service. Boxes were collected at 4.30pm in Perthshire and were delivered at 10.30am the next day in London. Only grievance was that one of my boxes (out of five) had been bashed and had actually split open by the time I received it. Luckily enough there was only clothes in this box so no damage was really done. If this had not been the case I would have given five stars.

I recently sold a BOSE home theatre system via eBay for £575. I paid Parcel Monkey £41.74 to collect and deliver this item. This included £600 insurance. As the item was very valuable and delicate, I spent over 2 hours packaging every item securely. This included wrapping with bubble wrap, then cardboard, then more bubble wrap, then boxing, then finally sealing the whole package with stretch wrap. For additional security I then placed large A4 sized notes on both sides stating that the item was fragile and they should handle with care. When my buyer received the item, he was very upset, the courier had dropped the item, from what must have been a great hight. They had smashed the main sub woofer rendering the whole system useless. I spoke to parcel monkey, they advised me to send them photos which I did. I told my buyer to post everything back to me, NOT USING PARCEL MONKEY, which I also had to pay for and I refunded my buyer, so he was not out of pocket. By now my £575 home theatre system was worthless and I had spent £100 on 2 sets of delivery. So I perused Parcel Monkey via there insurance claims department, to recover my losses, after all, that why you pay all that money for insurance. At first the claim appeared to be going well. I pointed out that it was just the sub woofer that was damaged and I would be happy if they would replace that item. They asked me to find one, which I did, on eBay USA for £285 plus £180 shipping and customs. They said they would not pay shipping and customs! I really didnt want a speaker that was located on a different continent! If I could get a speaker wire 2000 miles long, I still wouldnt be able to hear the sound coming out of it. I told them I was not prepared to accept a speaker from eBay USA, which I had to pay £180 for shipping and customs, so they emailed me back and said my claim was rejected because my item was not packaged correctly! I know for a fact my item was not packaged incorrectly. I just think that Parcel Monkey make a lot of money charging people for insurance. Then when people attempt to claim on that insurance, they then just refuse the claim on the grounds that the item is not packaged correctly! Its the perfect SCAM! I am an eBay Power seller with over 12 years experience, I have sold thousands of items on eBay and I know how to package items safely. I have always used another courier and myhermes in the past and have never ever had a problem. I know Parcel Monkey may appear cheap, but as the old saying goes "you pay peanuts, you get Monkeys!" I would advise anyone to use another courier or MyHermes, but never ever, under any circumstances use PARCEL MONEY! THEY ARE THE WORST! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Booked my pickup easily on their site, courier turned up next day and delivered the parcel. Can`t ask for more on this topic. :)

Only one slight niggle when getting a quote it went by weight so I advanced with this only to get to the measurements it was more expensive

I needed to send a high value parcel to Germany. Chose the Asendia (+Yodel) service. Collection booked for Tuesday. I stayed in all day Tuesday apart from 30 minutes school run. No missed collection card when I got home, no one turned up to collect all day. Waited in the next day, still no one came to collect. Eventually PM system showed that I missed the collection on Tuesday. Rearranged collection for Thursday. Waited in all day, no school run. Still no one turned up. Phoned yodel, they told me someone had been round. But no card was left and I was at home, practically by the front door all day. Messaged PM, no reply until Friday morning, but only to say they would contact yodel. Eventually I took the parcel in to yodel depot myself on Friday afternoon. All weekend there was no update on the tracking. Messaged PM again, was told they would look into it again. Monday and the parcel still wasnt showing in yodel/PM tracking. Messaged PM again, no news again. Sent my husband to Yodel. He was told that according to GPS the courier was never at my address, ever. He was assured that the parcel was on its way to Asendia already. A couple of hours later tracking showed that it had been "collected". It looks like yodel forgot all about my parcel and didnt do anything with it until my husbands visit on the Monday. PM, in the meantime, was apparently still trying to find out what was happening with my parcel. The story continues, but I wont bore you with the rest. Asendia wouldnt let me have any info, apparently I had to go through PM to know whats going on with my parcel. Again, PM still not giving me any info. To cut a long story short(er), there was a problem at every single step of the process, but PM was no help and it takes them a good few hours to respond to your messages. There is no phone number for PM so you cant speak to anyone to try to get to the bottom of things. Next time (if there is a next time) I will certainly not be using the Asendia service. And I will definitely be looking for a different web service and try to avoid using Parcel Monkey altogether.

This was the third time that I used this service, and again it was fantastic. I booked in a delivery slot the night before, my parcel was collected the following afternoon, then delivered to the destination the day after. Effortless from my part, apart from a few mouse clicks from my PC, and reasonably priced.

they were let down by Parcel Force who were very slow to deliver a parcel to Geurnsey it took a week to arrive and as I write this review its still in transit I am very disappointed as the parcel was a birthday present.

Uk quotes doubling by the time you reach checkout Correctly addressed parcels returned without warning. Parcels disappearing from collection point, but couriers deny taking them. Then informed parcels have been returned to depot. Told parcels incorrectly addressed when its the same address that worked a week earlier. AWFUL customer service via live chat that takes hours and seems to be done with people whos 2nd language is English. Questions submitted that dont get answered. Wont discuss anything on phone. Have spent over 5 hours this week chasing three misrouted/rejected parcels that they deny any blame for. Utterly horrendous waste of time. Oh I nearly forgot - they also try to charge you for all these foul-ups.

Parcel monkey are a good service,the only thing I would like is a time slot for the collection ie am or pm as I did sit in all morning as the first time I used them my item was collected at 9am, this time was 1 oclock

I am a first time user of this service and to say Im impressed is an understatement. The prices for the 3 boxes I sent to the U.S. were the best I could find anywhere the only downside being that because the contents were on the restricted list they were essentially uninsurable, so if they were lost or damaged it was a case of tough! The collections were prompt on the day and the transit time quick. One box was stopped by customs at destination but released very quickly. Overall my experience was an extremely positive one, so much so I have used the company again since. The price was again very good and I hope the delivery is just as quick. Thus far, I would highly recommend giving this company a go.
