Today is the fourth day that DX has not collected my parcel. I booked through Parcel Monkey - why do they recommend such a rubbish courier company ??

Sorry to hear that DX have failed to collect this item. DX are normally pretty reliable so this is quite unusual for them to miss it on so many occasions. It was so convenient having the parcel picked up from home the day after I placed the order; and it was very easy to track the parcel. It arrived incredibly quickly and the price I paid was far cheaper than for many other places. Great service, I would definitely use it again.

I recently made a booking stupidly through parcel Monkey to save a few pounds and instead it has cost me the great deal in time and effort just to get nowhere. Not only was my shipment collected a day late parcel Monkey have no clue of who and when my shipment was picked up they had the completely wrong shipping numbers, my parcels did arrive eventually they were damaged in transit and the process of making a claim is that horrendous that you are just better biting the bullet and taking a loss and never using the service again. N.B. Be warned not to use this service it will leave you out of pocket, they eventually collected and delivered and also managed to damage in transit. I purchase insurance as well to cover any eventualities like this however it was completely pointless as in the first instance I have to send over 100 messages to get anywhere and even though I use adequate packing double walled cardboard packing boxes along with large bubble wrap they did not honour my claim for damages. What type of Services is this apparently? according to parcel Monkey the items should have been handled with cotton gloves and cradle like a baby and as it was not done so my claim will not be honoured just to save a couple of pounds on postage charges I learnt a very expensive lesson not to use middle men like this especially when they hide behind a front and you have no direct contact with them. I myself personally will never be using this again and as I send and receive approximately 400 parcels of the year Im sure Royal Mail and parcelforce will be happy keeping me as a customer. This whole service has been a complete shambles start to finish steer clear, a few extra pounds use a proper service where you have proper customer services representatives at the end of a phone who will handle your query professionally and as it happens Royal Mail said I did have a case for claim and there was a high chance that I would be paid out but unfortunately as I stupidly went through parcel Monkey there will be no chance of that. Something I thought Id never say, even Hermes have a better service than this and thats saying something. Also there is malpractice on the behalf of parcel Monkey they are charging customers the fee of 2% for checking out with paypal which parcel monkey should be paying not be charging customers for this. Parcel Monkey have signed up to accept PayPal as a payment method so why are they charging 2%? paypal wasnt too happy about this when I told them that. Parcel Monkey just have you over from the start and this is just proof that the charges that they should be paying for a payment method that they have accepted the terms and conditions for using are passing the charges on the customers?

Collection didnt turn up. Rescheduled but didnt turn up again. I was starting to get concerned late in the day on the second attempt and raised my concerns with parcel monkey but they basically told me to be patient. I explained that this was last chance before Christmas but they said the delivery was scheduled. I wouldnt book with them again as you cant talk direct to the courier and get any real information. I have an important present problem to resolve now PDQ. Thoroughly dissatisfied.

I am sorry to hear that this parcel was not collected by the courier involved. Should they fail to collect we contact them direct to rebook it back in and it is generally collected the following day. The service is the same as you would get booking direct, we simply just pass the courier the shipment details and we resolve queries via our own support channels into the carrier, however we do have to wait for them to update us as well.

Booked a DPD delivery and then had problems with non delivery and parcel held for days at depot for no apparent reason. Parcel Monkey website insists you do not contact DPD directly, so I was forced to use their email customer services. No response whatsoever. Useless. Will not use again. Reply: No it was not successfully delivered. The recipient had to make a 30 mile journey at his own expense to collect it from the Depot, as it was just stranded there for days with no information.

I wanted to send a package to my son it Vietnam. Lots of friends horror stories later about local customs office not releasing stuff and lack of tracking, also the local address was difficult to accurately pin down. And after visiting Vn earlier this year this was all believable.
Anyway, I decided to give it a go. Once booked online and dropped off at the office I was able to keep track of the shipment all the way, thanks to DPD deliveries as well. It took about 4 days, which was about the same time as the flight back felt. It was interesting following its progress then, finally it was out for delivery from Ho Chi Minh City. Which is the other end of Vn from its destination, Hanoi. Probably a local on a little scooter, all the way for 1200km.
Couldnt find the address, but people dont have addresses or post delivered, so this wasnt surprising. My son contacted the number in the email and arranged to meet the deliveryman.
I can only say that Parcel Monkey exceeded my expectation and I would highly recommend them if anyone has a parcel adventure planned.

Great service. Took advantage of the drop off to the Post Office as I wasnt sure when Id be home for pick up of my parcel. 2 day service which arrived before 48hours. Was very pleased, everything went without a hitch. Would use this service again!

The parcel was not collected from the drop off point for 2 days. Once the parcel left the uk the online tracker wasnt updated untill they tried to deliver when my daughter wasnt at home. There wasnt any information on who tried to make the final delivery and no card left. My daughter finally got hold of the driver who made a missed call to her around the time the failed delivery was recorded who told her who he worked for so 2 days later was able to rearrange delivery

Sent a parcel to France two weeks before Christmas and it took two days to arrive (might be Parcelforce to thank, but ParcelMonkey allowed easy selection for destination, dimensions and added insurance). Very impressed.

Parcel monkey did what it was set up to do, but I was offered the same service from the same courier for two different prices and it is hard to find what the difference was.
Putting the recipients address in was not so easy as it kept filling in the wrong address, but eventually sorted and I am pleased with the service, which I thought was good value.

Website easy to use and had no problems printing all documentation. Service very prompt and efficient, parcel collected so no hassle. Parcel arrived in Australia in less than a week. Cannot ask for more!

I have sent two parcels at different times of the year via Parcel Force through Parcel Monkey first experience my address label was put on someone else parcel and their label put on mine. Hence their parcel went to my customer in Dubai and my parcel has never been found. on 12th December sent another parcel via Parcel Force by Euro Priority 2 day delivery to Malta, when checked to see if it had been delivered it was in Germany customer still not got parcel 7 days later just checked tracking and at least it is in Malta now so hopefully customer will receive THEIR URGENT ORDER.

We do not have a 2 day service to Malta on our quote engine and the service times are given to us by the couriers themselves.
Apologies for the mislabel on the first occasion, sadly this would be an error with the driver, we advise to attach our optional labels to the box to make it clear for the driver.

i wanted a packet picking up that i purchased on ebay that was collection only.
The sender boxed it up. i arranged a delivery and collection online , price was £9.00 . the item was picked up same day and delivered next day. cant go wrong at all.

I asked for an item to be picked up from a hotel in Dubai and brought back to the UK. The tracker showed the item had been collected but the hotel still had it. Its now been 2 weeks with countless emails and live chats but still no reason why this is and a constant avoidance to give my money back. They have allegedly booked to collect the item 3 times now but have fail despite given them the hotels address, phone number and email address. I hope to get a refund soon and rebook the collection with another firm.

I didnt know that UPS can be booked by private people but through parcel monkey it worked very well. It was easy and straight forward and the parcel that Ive send from England arrived 2 days later in Germany.

Do not trust this company. They took money for parcel insurance...but to avoid paying for the missing or damaged parcel. I lost above £300.

Sorry to hear the goods were damaged in transit with the courier. Any protection cover is optional for all customers, if you add it the goods will be protected by the cover as long as they are not prohibited, well packed and any claims are made in the window advised at the time of booking.
