"COURT ACTION NEEDED" Sent an expensive knitting machine to Denmark having used parcel monkey for many years. I had given them many years of business without problem. Being the machine was expensive £500 I made sure to pack according to their guidelines lots of bubble used polystyrene and double packed with a strong cardboard box and then paid extra to insure it for the full amount. The item arrived smashed to pieces. I tried to make a claim Guess what? According to the very helpful customer rep (who will only ever hide behind emails) It turns out that it was my fault :) "I had not packed well enough" Unfortunately the pictures of the packaging provided was after the customer had ripped open the packaging. Numerous emails back and forward but they will not budge. So the moral of the story is if you want my opinion do not use them "ever" as if something goes wrong I suspect they will blame the customer. Whatever happened to the customer is always right?????? SO OFF TO COURT WE GO who has time for that Need to send a Parcel i would recommend that you check out Trust pilot and try another company try not to go anywhere near this company. Any problems they have always been very helpful

I booked a small parcel to Greece with Parcel Force through Parcel Monkey. Dropped it off at the Post Office and arrived at its destination within the allocated time. I have used Parcel Monkey before and will not hesitate to use again. Thanks

Parcel monkey has no idea where a priority parcel is and has not been able to find out despite me giving them the tracking number. Terrible support from them, unable to communicate with them! Terrible

I needed to send a parcel urgently, so I paid for express delivery and it said delivery in 2 days. And the delivery has not even arrived to its destination I sent it on Wednesday 18th January and is now 25th. This is so unprofessional, advertise a service you do not provide. Extremely disappointed.

This is the first time I have used Parcel Monkey. I used them for a very large and awkward shaped and quite heavy package (two hefty car roof bars). Parcel Monkeys price was excellent and the whole experience of arranging collection was very straightforward. Delivery was within the specified 48 hour period and the goods were received in perfect condition. I would not hesitate to recommend Parcel Monkey and will definitely use them again.

Happy with Parcel Monkey. Easy to use and found me a good price for my delivery. I did however encounter some confusion/problems at the delivery end with the company I went with, Parcel Force. Parcel Monkey asked for contact number for both myself and the recipient which led me to believe it would be a possibility for the driver to ring the recipient to gain access to the building upon delivery. However my parcel was not delivered due to the driver not calling the recipient upon delivery. When I spoke to Parcel Force they said this is not a possibility with them. So had to arrange for recipient to go to depot and collect themselves. So more a problem with Parcel Force than Parcel Monkey but it was because Parcel Monkey asked for contact details led to the confusion. However I would use the service again.

Absolute joke of a company, Didnt pick up on time, or stated day, Stuck in customs with no help for days, Asked to return the parcel to original destination. Parcel is now lost.......

No problems with drop off and parcel was delivered on time. However, was not happy with my card being debited further because of a discrepancy in the weight by more than 1kg... especially as I had the parcel pre-weighed at a Post Office. Future customers should make sure the weight is registered at the drop-off point.

Easy to print labels. Local centres for dropping parcel and much cheaper compared to other couriers.

Parcel wasnt collected on the day it was supposed to be (wasted a day waiting for the collection), had to reschedule and was told a new label would be emailed to me within 30min, this didnt happen and had to contact parcelmonkey/log into my account to get the new label etc.. also the prices advertised dont have the VAT included.. I quoted the price to a person buying something from me and then found out at the checkout it was more expensive..

I did various searches to get the best quote for a parcel from London to Sierra Leone. The cheapest I could find was £385. Parcel Monkey was suggested and they gave me a price of £90 with a delivery of 5 days. I decided to give it a go due to price alone. It was only after I booked I checked various reviews and saw just how many negative ones there were about parcels never making it and lack of customer service so I started to panic a bit.
However the parcel was collected on time by Parcelforce who gave me their tracking number. I followed it with them online to a holding base in Colnbrook Slough. I then lost track of it and there was nothing on the Parcel Monkey website. So I did live chat which is clearly not live but I got a response within an hour giving me the tracking number with DHL who were taking it from Slough to me here in Africa. I have then followed my parcel through West Africa to finally arriving here in one piece and within 7 days of leaving London.
However to date there is still no update other than collection scheduled from 12/01/17 on the parcel monkey website.
Overall I will use this company again at a saving of £300 with only a little digging on my part it was well worth it. I would point out though that it was parcel force and DHL that did the delivery and had things gone wrong it was down to them not parcel monkey, and both these companies quoted far in excess of what PM secured it for so thank you.

Two pallets of goods were booked for collection and were described as being on pallets. The DX driver phoned on the day of collection to say he couldnt collect as he they were on pallets. The information had not been passed to DX, they say.

When they accept the booking they can see the weight and dimensions and if it is palletised they can see this information also, apologies for the inconvenience caused on this occasion.

Thai is the first time I used parcel monkey. I am a British Irving in NZ and needEd some items sent over. Item was collected as promised and delivered within 4 days (deadline was 5 days). No damage to parcel either and the tracking system worked good

Product had originally shipped intact from China but was damaged between UK and Finland. Used exactly the same packaging material. Tracking and contact with company fine up to now.
