After being badly let down by another courier company, I decided to try Parcel Monkey. The website was easy to navigate, and they dutifully turned up to uplift my parcel the next day - and they were cheaper !!
I would definitely use them again.

Sadly liquids are prohibited items that should not be sent so I can see why the claims team had to turn your claim down on this occasion

Quoted £100 from Royal Mail. We went with ParcelMonkey and chose Parcel Force who offered a better service, collected the item from my work and had delivered the package on the Monday morning after being collected on the Wednesday afternoon (4 days!) It only cost us a little under £40. Would highly recommend!

Cheap and great service, only downside is that the time slot is 8-6 think in this day and age it could be more specific, even 4 hour would be more helpful

Arranged for 3 large parcels to be collected from my office and delivered to a hotel in London and then a return journey a couple of days later. First journey went well, no issues but then they were never collected on the Friday. I had some annual leave the following week so didnt chase them up until a week later - when I realised the items had not been returned. They said couldnt do anything as it had been over 5 business days? They also didnt even give me an explanation as to why they werent collected - just tried to blame the courier! Unfortunately Ill not be using their service again.

we had to collect a large, heavy package (24kg) from London. It couldnt have been easier - click click, £12. Good comms throughout from the Monkey and Parcelforce, excellent tracking info, delivered on time and undamaged.

When parcel force picked up parcel, gave us receipt with parcel force tracking number. tried this the next day to track parcel, but to no avail. phoned parcel force up yesterday, they had no tracking available on number i gave them. I was able to give them a number scribbled on the receipt form which fortunately was the route number of van and they were able to find parcel from that. They said parcel money had give them 2 consignment numbers, so obviously the first number we were given was an incorrect one. Thankfully had a very patient customer waiting for parcel in germany.

My parcel arrived thanks to the couriers but Parcel Monkey were useless. Please note there is no phone number for Parcel Monkey if you have problems, they run a ticket only support system. The tracking for my package said "Delivered". It was not. It later emerged that the first courier Yodel had "Delivered" it to the second Trakpak. There was no tracking information for Trakpak. On submitting a support ticket it was closed within one day as "inactive". I submitted a second ticket which was answered by two separate employees with completely different answers one of which involved asking for a new collection date(?*!?). I checked reviews for Parcel Monkey and found they were the subject of various newspaper investigations for poor customer service. I will never use them again.

Today is the fourth day that DX has not collected my parcel. I booked through Parcel Monkey - why do they recommend such a rubbish courier company ??

It was so convenient having the parcel picked up from home the day after I placed the order; and it was very easy to track the parcel. It arrived incredibly quickly and the price I paid was far cheaper than for many other places. Great service, I would definitely use it again.

I recently made a booking stupidly through parcel Monkey to save a few pounds and instead it has cost me the great deal in time and effort just to get nowhere. Not only was my shipment collected a day late parcel Monkey have no clue of who and when my shipment was picked up they had the completely wrong shipping numbers, my parcels did arrive eventually they were damaged in transit and the process of making a claim is that horrendous that you are just better biting the bullet and taking a loss and never using the service again. N.B. Be warned not to use this service it will leave you out of pocket, they eventually collected and delivered and also managed to damage in transit. I purchase insurance as well to cover any eventualities like this however it was completely pointless as in the first instance I have to send over 100 messages to get anywhere and even though I use adequate packing double walled cardboard packing boxes along with large bubble wrap they did not honour my claim for damages. What type of Services is this apparently? according to parcel Monkey the items should have been handled with cotton gloves and cradle like a baby and as it was not done so my claim will not be honoured just to save a couple of pounds on postage charges I learnt a very expensive lesson not to use middle men like this especially when they hide behind a front and you have no direct contact with them. I myself personally will never be using this again and as I send and receive approximately 400 parcels of the year Im sure Royal Mail and parcelforce will be happy keeping me as a customer. This whole service has been a complete shambles start to finish steer clear, a few extra pounds use a proper service where you have proper customer services representatives at the end of a phone who will handle your query professionally and as it happens Royal Mail said I did have a case for claim and there was a high chance that I would be paid out but unfortunately as I stupidly went through parcel Monkey there will be no chance of that. Something I thought Id never say, even Hermes have a better service than this and thats saying something. Also there is malpractice on the behalf of parcel Monkey they are charging customers the fee of 2% for checking out with paypal which parcel monkey should be paying not be charging customers for this. Parcel Monkey have signed up to accept PayPal as a payment method so why are they charging 2%? paypal wasnt too happy about this when I told them that. Parcel Monkey just have you over from the start and this is just proof that the charges that they should be paying for a payment method that they have accepted the terms and conditions for using are passing the charges on the customers?
