My parcel was not collected on time , it was then collected 5 days later after several emails to yourselves. I very much doubt that I will be using this service again.

Carrier didnt turn up on the booked date, as well there is no pick up window just "stay at home between 8am and 6pm". I asked Parcel Monkey at 5pm on the pick up day whether the pick up was still happening and was told yes its scheduled for today - make sure someone is in. Obviously they hadnt bothered to investigate at all with the carrier. Needles to say nobody turned up. All through various emails with parcel monkey I just got all the standard answers - very polite but it is evident that parcel monkey doesnt really care about a customer wasting a day as they do not attempt to communicate with their own carriers. Parcel has been picked up next day lunchtime by a very nice dx carrier who admitted I was just lucky the pick up happened so soon because he didnt have much load. I had been advised again by parcel monkey to stay in all day. Parcel monkey does not feel responsible for what their carriers do, even though they should as their business depends on customer satisfaction. If I can I will always go straight away to the delivery company now.

I ordered a collection, it was collected on the right day, the cost was reasonable and it was delivered on the day it was supposed to be. The Parcelmonkey interface was seamless. Only slight criticism - there was not a lot of choice of carrier

I recently had to return goods to an overseas company and I was requested to use a postal company that provided full tracking so that the order could be confirmed to have been delivered and a refund would then be given. I contacted Parcel Monkey to make sure that the service I selected did provide full tracking and I was assured there was full tracking with the service I selected. I even paid for extra insurance in the event if the parcel was lost or damaged. The first problem was that I was presented with three different web sites all with mixed tracking information. The tracking on one of the sites displayed that the goods had been delivered although to a different post code, there was no tracking information of the recipient or the full address. How can this be classified to be a full tracking service. Because the goods appear to have been delivered to the wrong post code I find that I cannot receive a refund for the goods. I am now in the process of starting a claim with Parcel Monkey for the loss of goods. I will provide an update for this review when I find out if the Parcel Monkey claims procedure is a fair and honest process.

It would have been nice to have been forwarded about the fact that South African customs would hit me with a "customs bill" to the tune of £50 and my parcel will not be delivered until l pay this. Not amused

Parcel monkeys courier failed to turn up on the date paid for, they did arrive after numerous phone calls & live chats a day late but there was no offer of refund or anything for the service failure

Ive used Parcel Monkey for a couple of years now, using them for picking up and home and delivering in the UK and overseas. I am very pleased with the service Ive received from them. Theyve picked up on time and delivered to its destination on time. Would definitely carry on using them.

Hidden costs. Parcel was a birthday present for 5 year old grandson in south africa. When it came to the payment , the final amount was twice the figure quoted at the start. Now the parcel has arrived in south africa (and not yet with the recipient) our daughter has been charged the same amount again in import duty and administration costs. There was no warning of this at all. Thats a total of £88 to send a pair of kiddies pjs and a box of Lego, an experience never to be repeated.

Parcel collected day late, then We had to collect a week later, after many emails and chasing for delivery. Uk Mail is appalling. Tried this service after being ripped off by Hermes, only to be let down badly by UKMail. You should not need to chase your parcel for 5 days then have to collect it yourself 10 miles away just to receive it when you pay for a 48 hr delivery service!

Paid next day delivery Parcel was supposed to be collected on Thursday . Wasnt collected till Friday afternoon when contacting ukmail to ask if I would receive my parcel Saturday morning as parcel was for the wedding meal I was ignored . Very bad service dont use ukmail

Used it for a few deliveries, but with my las delivery, they messed up badly, the courier (parcelforce) company damaged my parcel to a complete loss and blamed me for it to dont pay for their poor quality service and PM just agreed with them, total dishonesty and lack of costumer service! Very disappointed and will get somebody else to do my parcels.

Absolute rubbish! I chose for a 2-4 day delivery to Dubai for a small package that urgently needed to be received within the 4 days but the package just arrived in Dubai 6 days after! Scheduled delivery date is 10 days after I dropped the parcel off! Absolutely ludicrous! Try to contact customer service but they keep on fobbing me off by saying " we are trying to get hold of the courier ". I have been hearing this for the past few days with no result. Choose a reputable company because these people are amateurs and dont keep to their word. Never again

After overcoming the initial tracking error (saying my parcel was already in Southampton, despite it being the day before the schedules collection date, and sitting in my sisters kitchen), both Parcel Monkeys communication (online chat) and service (via DPD) were spot on.

Delivered within 5 days. Half the price of the Post Office. Only problem is that you have to track the parcel through a different website (possibly third party) but this wasnt communicated to me so I could see how some customers get frustrated if they are unaware of this. Once I went on this site I could see the full transfer and interaction with my parcel. £45 for 5 day delivery of less than 5 kg parcel from UK to Japan. Cant complain. I would recommend based on my first experience.

I have numerous complaints. First the courier was late to collect my shipment. I was given NO information from Parcel Monkey. Whilst waiting THREE WEEKS for my shipment to arrive London- Belgium I was given NO helpful communication regarding estimated delivery time and what was happening with my shipment from Parcel Monkey. At this point the company would not give me any tracking information from Courier. So there was no way of finding out when my 3 parcels were to arrive. Then THREE WEEKS later Courier finally turn up at my door with no prior warning- missed delivery no one was home. Surprise. They tried to redeliver again on Tuesday - I was able to call them because they called me on this occassion whilst at my door (how am I to know when to be off work?!!!?). I checked shipment online it said that Courier only had two packages. I organised for redelivery on Wednesday and Thursday to have it confirmed both times over the phone to then for there to be a mistake and have finally a phone call on Thursday telling me one parcel has been stolen and they have reported it to the police. But before this Couriers excuse was that they had an issue with my address yet they were at my house Monday and Tuesday?! Then Irearranged delivery for the THIRD time of my remaining two parcels for Monday. Courier didnt deliver they had made YET ANOTHER MISTAKE. Luckily a friend in Brussels took me to the depot to collect them. It took a 50 minute train journey and 30 minute car ride either way to collect my 2 boxes which were filfthy. Meanwhile, Parcel Monkey deducted another £99.83 from my account because apparently my luggage weighed SO SO much more than I had registered it for. I registered 63 kg to be transported. Parcel Monkey told me actually the weight was 152.50 kg and in actual fact on the Courier collection sheet my parcels were recorded as weighing a total of 65.6 k.g. That money should never have been deducted from my account because the given weight by Parcel Monkey was WRONG. I had one bag STOLEN and had to go out of my way and use my money to collect the remaining two packages. Now Parcel Monkey is not responding to my queries, will not give me any information or contact numbers so I can speak to ONE SINGLE PERSON WHO KNOWS WHATS GOING ON to resolve it. I AM SO SO ANGRY AND DISGUSTED by Parcel Monkey and Courier. Hideous and ridiculous company

I do sincerely apologise on behalf of the carrier for this experience.
Please note, any additional charges come from the courier who laser measure the dimensions and weight of all of the parcels. If the dimensions are out or the weight is stated incorrectly at the time of booking, this can give an incorrect volumetric weight. The carrier then additionally charges us and we pass this charge down to you.
Please contact us via a support ticket with the subject FAO Manager as we would like to investigate this further.
