Parcel Monkey usually excellent but DPD used and Parcel wasnt collected on date arranged. we had to leave the parcel at the DPD office next day after taking a day off work to be here between 9 - 5 pm

11 kg parcel picked up on monday from UK delivered the other side of the world , australia by friday morning. fraction of the cost quoted by royal mail .. yet it was carried by parcel force .

So impressed using this service. We had to send a parcel to Switzerland and it was so easy. All the documents needed were available to print out and it was received hassle free in 3 days.

Dont use this company. They lost my parcel over 6 months ago. They refuse to pay any compensation even though I paid extra for insurance. They blamed the courier however after tracking the parcel through the courier I found that the parcels last know whereabouts was the parcel monkey office in South Hampton. The parcel was worth over £500 and was insured for this much but parcel monkey refuse to pay any compensation at all. I suggest paying more because after reading a lot of reviews it has become clear that this happens regularly. I will be pursuing them legally to recoup cost.

Easy to get a quote & a good range of prices to choose from.
My only criticism is with the carriers forms - in this case Parcel force 48 not Parcel Monkey`s.
When you are arranging for a remote pick up from an address that is not your own, there is no "notes" box to explain where the parcel will be left - not everyone will wait in for collection. There is a "delivery" box which I have used & seems to work but I`m never totally sure it will!

My box was collected on a Friday from UK and delivered to Italy on Tuesday. It was also the cheapest service I could find and yet so efficient.

I have used Parcel Monkey UK previously and, as before, I was not disappointed.
Online booking is very straightforward, I was advised the following day when collection would be by DHL and this was spot on. I was able to track my parcels journey and delivery.
Just one blip in that I received an email saying the driver delivering had been delayed but on checking the tracking and speaking to the recipient (my choice to call them) I knew the parcel had been delivered.
I will use Parcel Money UK again and have already recommended their services.

Selecting a courier via Parcel Monkey couldnt be more simple.
Very straightforward and user friendly web pages and instructions.
Only 4 * instead of 5 because the nominated courier didnt collect on time and the delivery to destination confirmation was initially ambiguous.

Where to begin... First and last time will use this "Service. Never arrived on chosen day it was booked for Thereafter made contact with PM and they booked for following day. I chose to select parcel 48 which I stupidly thought ( as implied) 48 hours delivery. Also as one of the most expensive options thought would work.How wrong was I with that! Item was sent to wrong Depot and after a string of emails took over a week for a small parcel the size of a crisp box to arrive. PM then simply said couriers at fault and all within their small print ! In future I will go directly to couriers for quotation as PM simply abstain their responsibility. No compensation entitlement despite catalogue of errors. Truly awful service. Caused me no end of grief with my client who was waiting for delivery.

I had two parcels collected and only one delivered. No contact numbers provided by parcel monkey to follow up directly. All communication via chat line and have contacted almost daily for last 4 weeks and no explanation provided they are passing buck on to the courier DPD who have indicated to me that it has not left UK, my parcel was being sent to Australia- my grandchildren did not receive their Christmas presents - so disappointing! My contract is with parcel monkey and therefore they should have an agreed timeframe for providing information on my missing parcel but do not appear to have any control on feedback from courier!

Great service. I sent two backpacks for a very reasonable price, to save carrying them on the tube and train. I got a great price through Parcelmonkey, much cheaper than going through Parcelforce directly.
A Parcelforce van and driver came and picked them up the next day, so the only difference between buying through Parcelmonkey and Parcelforce was the price (and I was allowed a larger size of parcel booking through the former).
People giving this site bad reviews seem to be mostly conflating the aggregator site (a middleman) with the parcel companies themselves. Use this site to get the discounts. If an order doesnt turn up its because of the mail carrier. Its like people giving bad reviews on Amazon because of delays in the postal service or because of a bad seller.

Biggest issues for me are that on a couple of occasions so far, items booked for collection arent collected and updates on the site quite often are wrong. Ive got parcels that have been delivered weeks ago shown as waiting collection still. On the plus side, it does take the hassle out of shipping larger items and collection issues aside, Ive had no major problems so far.

Do you want me to tell why I gave this rating? If i could I would give 0 star.I paid to be collected 2 parcels. Nobody came to collect the parcels. I spent 3 days staying in the flat waiting for them to come and countless hours to the phone.I was said they came and I was not at home which was not true. Customer service with no purpose for this problem. Always transferring me to nearest depot, saying I have to speak with them. I was said they will send the van back in the 3rd day. My husband spent 2.5 hours outside of the building waiting for them, until 7 oclock in the evening.Nobody came. I still wait to receive the money back. Are 10 days and still I dont have it back in the account.

Easy to use and affordable. The only downfall is when I went to the drop off point, they only could accept 6 parcels a day and I had to come back the next day to drop it off again.

I am an online seller and sometimes RM cannot handle specific weight and size parcels so I need another courier that can handle this. I tried Parcel Monkey and it works smooth and even cheaper than going direct to the Courier. I must say I am impressed and their online account is super easy to use.
