The problem was with the packaging by my seller, he refused to put the sewing machine I had purchased into a box or bag, it therefore sustained damage in transit. My one complaint with Parcel Monkey (DPD courier service) is that the handle was broken during transit and should have been taped to the machine, therefore retaining it. My machine unfortunately arrived with a cracked case and no handle. I feel that the cause of the problem was in the packaging and can not hold DPD/Parcel Monkey responsible but they should have ensured that all parts were retained.

We sent a parcel to Rome via ParcelForce and filled in the complete address. When we took the parcel to the post office we noticed that the address was incomplete. We completed it manually on both address labels and checked with the post office, they said that should be fine. We have just heard that the parcel has apparently been returned to depot because the address was incomplete. This is extremely annoying - unacceptable service

Completely smashed the contents of my parcel. They were informed it was heavy yet still only sent one man courier. Now refusing to pay the compensation that I paid additional cover for with no justification. Have supplied photos and loads more evidence. They outright refuse to contact me via phone or provided a number to contact them. Hiding behind an online contact form.

booked for a parcel to be collected from me and delivered to Scotland. stayed in all day on the Fri, the day they were supposed to collect parcel, heard nothing from them and no one turned up to collect. contacted live chat to let them know and asked if it could be collected after 2.30pm on the Monday as would be out till them, couldnt guarantee it so pick up was then re-arranged for the Tues. DHL turned up around 4pm on the Monday to collect parcel, then they turned up again on the Tuesday to collect the same parcel.

Ordered two parcels for next day delivery to be picked up on Wednesday and delivered Thursday. I received a text to let me know my packages were to be picked up on Wednesday and waited in for the entire day to no avail. I heard nothing from the Parcel Monkey or the courier, and a message to the online chat help simply told me that Ill have to wait. The next day I received another text to say theyd be picked up around midday so I waited in again.....again nothing. That is until around 4pm whereupon the courier turned up. He scanned my first parcel in with no problem, but the second refused to be accepted - it wasnt on the system. He took it still but the packages still didnt reach their recipients until the next Tuesday and Wednesday respectively, a week after I booked their next day delivery. I have been thoroughly stung by this experience with Parcel Monkey and its safe to say Ill be steering well clear of their service from now.

HOW DID YOU DO??? do what i booked the parcel nearly one week ago on a 3 day COLLECTION " service and its still here at my house :-( So far two emails and no replys so!! What is actually going on??? I get the survey and still got the parcel lol im in shock!!! ????

Insurance pointless, tracking pointless(no compensation despite being tracked by them to a UK address which they acknowledged was due to human error - parcel was suppose to go to USA), customer service none existent ( 2 x recorded letters sent to customer services and no response). No phone number for customer services tells you a lot. Parcel Monkey take no responsibility for parcels in their care - should be called Send parcels at your own risk.com

Never dealt with such a difficult company. Going round and round with online chat on something which could be resolved in 5 minutes. Nobody wants to take any responsibility and just sort it. Used parcel monkey for all my parcels but ill certainly go elsewhere now

Excellent service, i used Hermes directly for a collection, they were an absoloute joke, took my money and never turned up,.days of webchat and being fobbed off (avoid using them as you will recieve nothing but stress and hasle!) Following my poor experience with my hermes and my parcel still sat at home, I was advised by a friend to use "parcel monkey". Have to say, excellent service!! SImple and easy, i decided to go with Parcel Force via Monkey Parcel website, they turned up following day very friendly courier and a very satisfied customer at the end of it. I will be using parcel Monkey going foward, cant fault them.

Sending parcels with parcel Monkey is its just too easy its great is never a hassle in processing the order getting a quote print the labels out dropping it off locally never had a problem and I will continue to use them for as long as I send parcels abroad

Absolutely brilliant and value for money! Large box parcels took just 5 days Priority Tracked from posting to delivery in Italy! Wouldnt use any other parcel service again other than Parcel Monkey!

First off, let me say that Parcelmonkey is easily the worst postage reseller I have EVER had the displeasure of dealing with. And Ive dealt with ParcelHero, another courier etc. Do not think that your parcel is insured when sending it through Parcelmonkey, because it absolutely isnt. When dropping parcels off at DPD drop-off points, the shops have not been adequately informed how to handle drop-offs, which means they frequently do not scan the item properly. However, since the item has not been scanned, Parcelmonkey refuse to investigate the missing parcel/theft, and will not even request the CCTV evidence which categorically PROVES the item was dropped off. Twice now Parcelmonkey have caused me to lose hundreds of pounds simply because they refuse to accept responsibility, I dont think I have ever won a compensation claim from this company. I sell thousands of parcels every year, and some inevitably go missing. However, when the guy at the drop-off point has no idea what hes doing, your money is practically gone. Somehow we are supposed to know more than the drop-off guys. TIP: If you absolutely must use this absolutely horrific company, I recommend video recording every single step of your drop-off process, record the time and date of drop off, even get the drop-off store owner to personally acknowledge that he has received your parcel. DO NOT EXPECT CCTV EVIDENCE TO SAVE YOU, BECAUSE PARCELMONKEY WONT EVEN CHECK IT! ANOTHER POINT: Parcelmonkey have a sneaky little trick to further waste your money. Rather than setting your own address as the return address, Parcelmonkey change it to their address in Southampton. This means that if your parcel is not delivered, or your buyer returns to sender, then it will actually be delivered to Parcelmonkey, who then charge you £5 + additional postage costs to return it to you. What would otherwise be a free return to sender for most couriers, now turns into an expensive return process for absolutely no reason other than to squeeze more money out of you. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Note to ParcelMonkey. I am going to continue making negative reviews with every order I place with you. You are a complete shambles of a company, and people need to know exactly what kind of company they are dealing with.

Dreadful. I thought I would try Parcel Monkey as I wanted to save some money on the reliable but expensive APC we traditionally use. I arranged for a "next day"delivery through parcel monkey with Courier on a Thursday morning. Courier didnt arrive to collect the parcel taking me to the Friday evening where my customer called me to complain they hadnt received the items and needed them for that weekend. I got into the office on Monday morning only to find the items still there. I let my customer know i was very sorry and would call Courier to make sure the delivery was made for Tuesday. My customer (very frustrated) cancelled the order with us as Tuesday was too late, placed an order with our competition and will not give us any more business due to our perceived "unreliable" delivery service. This has cost our business forward orders~ £10,000 over the next 2 years. I called Courier to cancel the order, which they told me they did however, they still arrived 1 WEEK LATER to try to collect the original item. What a sorry state for a global company. I have been sorely let down by Parcel Monkey & Courier and it has cost me a huge amount of money through no fault of our own. Be very careful when using this service!

Ill never use again. Christmas present delivery on guaranteed 2 day delivery despatched in plenty of time didnt arrive and in my opinion Parcel Monkey could not care less.
