My experience started off well, but then went downhill after. The website was easy to use, i.e. get a price. I needed to send a 9kg parcel oversees. When I was asked to fill in a customs form I have commercial / proforma. I picked proforma, yet I was still asked to add company details and VAT number. I had may items in my parcel, yet I could not just add totals, as each price was different I had to work out the average price to get the correct amount. The parcel was picked up on the date specified, yet no time was given. So I had to wait, luckily it was picked up in the morning. I got the tracking number from the courier and was ok through the UK. When it left the UK it was transferred to a new courier, it was confusing as I was not told which couriers would be used. I received the link for the new courier, but no tracking number. Frustrated I contacted the Parcel Monkey help desk, they gave me the number. They said you have to contact us. But there was nothing on Parcel Monkey website to inform you of this, just frustration I contacted the help desk. The parcel cleared customs on the 7th March and there was no update until the 11th. Just said “given to forward courier”. When the courier phoned my partner for delivery he was asked why have you had this parcel since 7th. He said I have holiday, I am responsible but I wanted a few days off work. He phoned my partner after 11am in the morning. She works late and had already left for work. She finishes at 7pm but the courier flatly refused to work after 6pm. Even though he had the parcel for 5 days. So, he delivered it to her work and she had to carry a 9kg parcel all the way home. Parcel Monkey charged me nearly £60 for the delivery and promised a 2 to 4 day delivery time. I took 8 and was not delivered to her home address.

Missed the pick up on 7/03 due to school run. Have been promised every day that it will be picked up, still waiting . Even though it is parcel force and no actual parcel monkey there should be somebody keeping in touch to ensure things are being done by companies

Poor There was no update for the time of the collection, not even the same day in the morning. I missed one collection and I never got a confirmation email about the new collection day, not being sure if someone would actually turn up. The driver didnt offer to help me with my 15kg package when he came to collect it.

I sent a heavy box that weight 16 kilos with parcel Monkey I dropped it at one of my local stores and within a few days the buyer had their parcel and he had it rerouted to collect at his convenience so all in all you have offered a very good service as I have used you several times and never had a problem I would recommend you to others thank you

If you pay for delivery by a certain time, unlike couriers this company will NOT refund if the delivery is late. I was very disappointed to find that an urgent delivery I had arranged via Parcel Monkey did not arrive on time, and when I called the couriers depot to understand why this had happened they explained that the label Parcel Monkey supplied actually contained insufficient information, despite me completing much of this info while placing the delivery order. This significantly delayed delivery and the parcel did not arrive at its destination until 1pm following a significant amount of back and forth with the local depot. I had paid for delivery by 10am, but parcel Monkeys insufficient label prevented this. We are a registered charity and used this service to make this rush delivery as funds are very tight for us and the rate was cheaper - however, in actual fact due to the address issue our delivery did not arrive on time and so this is wasted money. When I contacted parcel Monkey to explain the above and complain, they offered no apology and simply stated that Compliance with the estimated time of collection or delivery is not guaranteed and the company shall not be liable for late deliveries. HOWEVER, they sent my package with ParcelForce. The relevant page on their site detailing the T&Cs of their deliveries states "Delivery time is guaranteed when you send for the next morning. If your parcel doesn’t arrive by the stated time, we’ll refund 100% of the delivery cost." Therefore, Parcel Monkey could actually claim a full refund for the delivery as technically they are Parcel Forces customer and their guarantee applies to them - but they do not pass that guarantee on to their customers! This is an awful business practice (and I suspect how they charge cheaper prices) and I recommend avoiding and instead going with the trusted couriers directly.

I had two chairs picked up from South Wales to Belfast on arrival on of the chairs was badly damaged , Ide predate to speak to someone in person about a claim than use the online forms seems a lot of hassle

I shipped two parcels with Parcel Monkey, both on a next day delivery service. One parcel was picked up a day late and delivered 4 days late. The other parcel was delivered one day late. I contacted Parcel Monkey for a partial refund, and received a template response that said they wouldnt give me a refund as it was not a guaranteed service. While I can accept that things go wrong, and the one package that arrived a day late isnt horrendous, they ignored that I had to wait 2 days for the other package to be picked up (as the driver never collected it on the first day) and that it was delivered 4 days late. Whats worse is that they can get a 50% refund from Parcel Force for one of them, and refuse to pass on the refund to me. I will not be using Parcel Monkey again.

I have had very good experiences with Parcel Monkey ever since I started using them a few months ago. But this last experience has been absolutely shocking - I booked for a Parcelforce collection on the 6th March for collection the same day, because my parcel was urgent. They didnt come. I contacted Parcel Monkey customer support and it was re-scheduled for the 8th (!). They didnt come. They didnt come on the 11th either (the Monday following the weekend). So I contacted C/S again and had to print a THIRD label. Finally on the 13th, they came.

Absolutely rubbish service. I contacted the customer care team yesterday and spent 40 minutes learning nothing. Denied selling me a parcel force service when my email came from parcel force with their parcelforce logo. Never again will I use this stupid useless organisation. 5 days to Northern Ireland when it advertised 48 hours. Useless!!!!

First the positive; I did book a carrier through Parcel Monkey. Now for the negative bit. Despite enetring the size and weight of my parcel on the first screen, Parcel Monkeys process makes the customer proceed right to the point at which you choose your drop off point, before they inform you that the carrier does not support your requirements. Given that Parcel Monkey presents the customer with a list of, presumably suitable carriers, I find it very annoying hat they dont filter out carriers who cannot deliver a parcel.
