We visited family in the UK over the Christmas / New Year period and the kids received too many gifts! This was way cheaper than booking another bag and it only took two days to go from Manchester to the south of France. Maybe next time we will use this instead of any check in luggage!

Used Parcelforce through Parcel Monkey. Cant fault it. Sent a 19kg large parcel within the UK for £14 including £250 insurance. The insurance was half the price of any other booking service. Post Office drop off removed the hassle of staying in waiting for collection.

I have sent two packages to the USA. One via Parcel force (post office), this one took 28 days to arrive. I could only track it until it left the UK then nothing, very poor.
The second package I sent via Parcel Monkey. They collected Monday as agreed and it arrived safely the same week. BRILLIANT!!

Parcel Monkey (PM) offers a wide range of services from different courier companies. It amazes me PM can find me a cheaper deal, when they obviously have to make a profit. Shows how courier companies charge as more as individuals.
The PM website is easy to use, and cost effective.

Courier did not show up so I tried to contact customer service- non-existant except for chat. Parcel collected on the second day. No up to date tracking info either. Marginally better than their rival online company who didn’t come after I waited 3 days. The money you save does not compensate for the stress and time wasting. I will book with a courier direct in future.

The parcel took 22 days to get from Leeds to my son in Johannesburg due to Parcel Monkeys South African partner, Dawn Wing, not having the correct postal code on their system. The parcel apparently went to several locations in SA with a similar suburb name, which sounds quite inefficient. The postal code I used (1709) is correct for the suburb (Weltevreden Park) according to the list issued by the South African Post Office.

Absolutely unacceptable service, i am truly disappointed. They lost my parcel, christmas presents for family which was sent beginning of December, a month later i still dont know what happened to it. Nobody is taking any responsibility, i spent 3 days before Christmas sending proofs and emails to show the postage. DPD tried to turn it around saying i havent filled paperwork which wasnt given to me in the first place and the "best" Parcel monkey can do is offer me £20 compensation, which is less than the postage i paid and i have the parcel insured unto £60!! Wont be using their service anymore

Sending my parcel through Parcel Monkey was very easy and much cheaper than sending it directly via Post Office / Parcel Force – even though in the end the carrier was in fact Parcel Force. Ironically, I was able to choose to drop off at the Post Office, for half their price!!

I was quoted c£40 to post a package to Ireland at the Post Office but got exactly the same parcel delivery service for £11 from parcel monkey. I enjoyed explaining my saving to the post master at my local post office as she is quite the grump!
