Very quick delivery and good customer service when I had a query.

Sent an item using parcel monkey, accurately described and they accepted the insurance upgrade to cover the cost. Arrived damaged. Refused to payout. Claims process long and slow and then very hidden small print. Completely dissatisfied and they are no longer on our approved suppliers list

We sent a large(ish) parcel to Greece.
The courier arrived exactly on the promised time with a pre-printed label, whisked our parcel away and within 6 days the parcel arrived safely and in tact. Progress was easy, using the tracking reference provided and the service was a fair bit cheaper than regular overseas delivery options. Very pleased and will definitely use them again.

I sent a parcel to South Africa via Parcel Monkey, i paid for the delivery charge from my end. However, the recipient has now received an invoice for ZAR 984.88 (£54) for customs duty, customs tax, documentation fee and agency fee. It was a small 1kg box which contained two t-shirts and some sweets. They are asking for more money than the value of the items in the parcel. I emailed parcel monkey who said i have no option other than to pay but this was not made clear at the time of booking. I will never use parcel monkey again and will not recommend it to anyone either. Be careful.

Turned up as confirmed on the day. Only reason they don’t get a 5 is because there is no call or update on the day when it will get picked up and it’s quite a large window.

I was warned not to be a monkey. Should have listened. Will use another courier as have done before. PM are a bunch of useless lying money grabbing sharks Paid for a service to be collected before 12 on a Friday and delivered before 12 the next day. Item was picked up late afternoon on the Friday and was delivered Monday morning. I paid for a 24 your service. Was told this doesnt apply over the weekend. But happy to take my money and advertise this service though . Nav Ramiah is the CEO and must be loving the mug offs on his customers.

I thought I was getting a brilliant deal when sending a large parcel back to a supplier, but all I can say is do not be fooled by the price as the service is shocking. I paid for a collection and delivery of an item and the item was not collected. When I advised Parcel Monkey they do not believe you and do not take any action to look into the query. They are not contactable by telephone and hide behind emails. I had to take matters into my own hands and work with the Courier DX who also were equally shocking until I placed a complaint on Twitter. My point is if you expect Parcel Monkey to act as an intermediary which is what theyre being paid to do you will be disappointed unless the courier does what is asked of them in the first place.

Used it first time very bad experience won’t recommend it to anyone as I can’t track my parcel at all tried to ring dpd they don’t want to know either . Paid £40 for the service to reach parcel in 2 to 4 days but it’s still in London According to dpd . Absolutely fuming as there is no contact no to ring parcel monkey . Made a mistake should have sent it Royal Mail as would have reached on time .

Sent a parcel to Greece on 1st April 2019 with the understanding that it would be delivered within 7-10 days. Using the tracking feature, I followed my parcel until 10th April at which point there no further updates on the tracking as to where the package was. This is when I started my conversation with customer service. I was told time and time again that they were contacting the couriers overseas to find out where the package was but I had to chase several times. I was then charged an extra £3.17 as the package was slightly over the 2kg that I had estimated using scales at home. I defy anyone to tell me they have precision scales at home to have an exact weight and when you are booking these things online, all you can do is estimate. Bear in mind that I was charged this extra despite the fact that at this juncture, my package could not even be located. Eventually around the beginning of May, I was told by my mother in Greece that the package had been delivered to another lady with the same name in a village of approximately 30 houses. Instead of taking the package to my elderly mother, this was then returned to the courier in the main town and I was told it could not be delivered due to the fact that they could not contact the recipient. I was then told it would be returned to me and that someone would contact me from the returns department, which again did not have until a few weeks later and after chasing again on my part. FINALLY, I was contacted to be told that the package was now back in the UK (2 months after it left for Greece) and that I had 3 options: either collect it in person from their depot on Southampton (I live in London), dispose of it, or pay £5 to have it returned to me! I responded by telling them in no uncertain terms that not only would I not be paying to have it returned to me but I would be expecting a full refund. The long and short of it is that the package arrived back to me last week, looking like Paddington Bear’s suitcase, covered in various labels from its epic tour of Europe some 2 months after I sent it and Parcel Monkey? They refunded me the original cost but refused to refund me the extra £3.17 due to a ‘misdeclaration’ (the connotation here being that it was a deliberate act and not a simple miscalculation). So here they are wrangling with a customer over £3.17 when they failed spectacularly to provide the basic service they promised. A joke of a company that should be avoided at all costs.

This isnt the 1st time I have used parcel monkey although it wasnt as smooth this time I was initially expecting collection on Wednesday but this never happened until the Thursday. All that being said I will continue to use the service when sending parcels as customer service is great and the prices are too. I would recommend giving them a go if sending a parcel as they have lots of options and prices to suit everyones needs.

Two missed collections and a third one arranged. No reason given as to why the parcel was not collected. Third attempt is 3 days away and I am expected to take the third day off work to wait for a driver all day. Appalling standards of service.

It was a mess. No communication at all. I paid for Courier and ended having to pay more to “ bail it” from the post office. So I feel I paid twice.

Waste of time Send two parcels this week got charged twice for first and they want proof by sending copy of bank statement, Then second parcel waited in all day no collection, re arranged waited in all day gets to 17:00 so getting a bit concerned all they could say was it will be collected by 18:00 and make sure someone is in dont go anywhere dont miss the driver, surprisingly they also close at 18:00 so cant be contacted after that, I would advise everyone to steer clear of this company and go direct to courier as they just dont care and the customer service is appalling

They are fine if you parcel gets delivered correctly - any issues however and they just dont care. If the courier doesnt deliver, then you have to pay to get them to deliver again. Said they couldnt find a building in Netherlands - I found it within 3 seconds on google maps, funnily enough on the street that was on the delivery details...
