Its now been nearly 3 weeks since our "international priority 1-3 days" letter was sent, at a cost of £50 - still not received! Parcel Monkey now havent replied to me for 4 days, despite me messaging every day. The courier wont talk direct since booking was made with Parcel Monkey. So left totally stranded without any information. Much better to book direct with courier, even if it costs more. DO NOT USE, you have been warned!

Had an extra cost due to apparently wrong weight or size of box even though measured and weighed carefully and left a margin of error.

Is useless, not worth any penny to use this company, just order directly at courier website, parcel damaged, they can do nothing! Its a scam! Ordering directly, with the same price, on courier website, you can claim compensation. Its literally a scam!

I was promised contact and for the refund to be processed on 19th March. This was after l was resorted to leaving a 1 star review due to being completely ignored for nearly 3 months. Guess what? still no contact and no refund. Parcel Monkey this is not acceptable! please arrange for someone to contact me on Monday 8th April to resolve.

I payed £26 for a parcel to be sent then they say it was 9kg heavier than I stated and fine is £78 that they took from my card without asking I will never use them again

I booked a shipping via Parcel Monkey with Parcelforce to China. 2 days after collection the item was returned to me, with a "DO NOT FLY" notice attached, and a claim that it was "too dense". In other words, their scanners could not determine what the contents was, so they refused to ship the item. And that despite my clear declaration that it was an "electrical transformer" which is inevitably heavy because it is essential a block of steel. Parcel Monkey failed to sort things out with Parcelforce over a 10 day period. My buyer in China was getting extremely frustrated and eventually cancelled the sale. At this time, I am still waiting for a refund from Parcel Monkey. Parcel Monkey used to be a good company - I have used them for more than 10 years. But they have gone downhill. No customer service phone number any more. No chat service. All they have now is a messaging service on their website, and their response is robotic. Dont expect any help if things go wrong!

Slightly delayed due to Easter period but parcel was delivered - what is good is the ability to track and see where the item is. Would recommend parcel monkey for international parcels..

Very impressed with Parcel Monkey - booked a slot for collection from the UK on Wednesday and delivered to Ireland on Friday. The only thing I’m a tad confused about is that I received an email from DPD on Thursday stating that I needed to pay an additional €37.11 to ensure my package would pass through customs. I did label the box with the information supplied and required by Parcel Monkey, to ensure that it would pass through customs, so really not sure why I then had an additional charge of €37.11 At no stage throughout the booking was there any mention of any additional fees so I find this very strange. My package contained baby clothes and this was clearly stated on the customs information I placed on the packaging as required. I have looked on customs Ireland and baby clothes supposedly do not need any extra fees to pass customs? My original fee for posting was about £18 which then became £49 in total (€37.11 for custom fees). Could someone please explain why this might be?

I tried Parcel Monkey to send 2 boxes to China via Parcelforce. They were returned back to me with no explanation from Parcelforce or Parcel Monkey. Their customer service is a joke, no contact number. Just a Live Chat where they are unhelpful and offered me £8.30 refund for a £172.78 order. I had to create a chargeback through my bank to get the refund back, absolutely disgusting.

Neither myself or the receiver of the parcel (my sister) were informed the parcel was delivered. My sister found the parcel inadvertently the following day, it was very wet.

It has now been two months since I received my refund for hiccup that was made from this company. Communication has been extremely poor, and even when they do respond, the answers provided are very vague. This issue has now been escalated and deemed fraudulent, and I have informed my bank accordingly.

AVOID A follow up to my last review i was promised they would look into the overcharging fee they sprung on me but like expected they did nothing. I would stay as far away from them as you can. I will not stop leaving bad feedback until they refund me i will leave it on face book and eBay forums
