Parcel Monkey are solid in what they do, the fundamental problem are their providers like ParcelForce WorldWide that are either overburdened with a backlog or just cannot provide a service Fit for Purpose without taking any real responsibility for their actions.
RoyalMail had always been well-regarded and respected as the lynchpin of a modern day postal service but their entity ParcelForce WorldWide and their parcel courier service is certainly letting down the side.
So would I use them again, hmmm not until their inefficiencies are massively improved whilst paying for a premium service!

Total failure to collect twice using royal mail. No reply to my complaint so thats another day wasted while I wait for them to just cancel this shambles and refund me. Had to wait in the house all day - twice. This means they have completely missed getting a birthday gift to my family member in time.

Since their ParcelForce Service collections started get collected by Royal mail, what is advertised at the tracking info as 24hr guaranteed, is getting slower and slower. 3 days this time. The multibox discount option has also disappeared!!!

At first I was sceptical about the name Parcel Monkey as there is a lot of monkey business on line these days. But when I looked into your rules and regs. I found more information there than other providers give, so clarifying the question of posting different types of battery. So thank you for your service.

Always use Parcel Monkey to organise my regular parcels to be sent to my daughter in Australia. I was pleasantly amazed at the price this month, but then the parcel was not all that heavy. I can track it all the way and she gets notified at her end when it is in the country. I dont use anyone else and it travels Global Priority Royal Mail.

Everything went as planned. Parcel delivered within 4 days. Only issue was that the printer wasn’t working at the first parcel drop off shop I went to, so I had to return home to print the delivery label myself.

usually they work fine, however recently they lost my parcel and didnt react to my enquiry for 48 hours !!! time is crucial in such cases, as they must force courier to find the parcel. 2 days gone by, monkeys didnt even bother to reply to my ticket, what a joke

Very easy site to use. Postage came back cheaper than other sites. The method of postage I chose and paid for was excellent and delivered next day. Kept well informed throughout.

Priced parcel at local Post Office and would have been £80. Took parcel home and went online for prices. Parcel Monkey was cheapest at £36 for an express tracked service with Parcel Force. Paid online, printed the labels and fixed to the parcel, and dropped the parcel back at the same post office as before. Saving was £50 for printing my own label. (QR code was provided to print label at post office if no printer available.). Parcel subsequently delivered on the day quoted and was able to track to destination. Email received when parcel was delivered in Australia.
Our parcel was 3.2kg in a standard posting box. Superb saving of £50 against the Parcel Force standard delivery price quoted at Post Office by using Parcel Monkey for the faster Express Tracked delivery also offered by Parcel Force. Would definitely use this service again.

Entered a delivery contract with you using ParcelForce who have absoloutly failed in delivering the goods in good time. Its taken 3 weeks! And when I tried to get details as to whats happening, very little came back. No offer of refund, compensation etc.

DO NOT USE THIS COURIER! They lie and will not compensate you on your items if they go missing! I shipped over £420 worth of items abroad using ParcelMonkey and between them and Evri together they BOTH lost the parcel and since April both of them have no recollection of what happened to it. Ever since, ParcelMonkey has had me running around in circles providing them with proof of me actually purchasing the items, I even had to provide my BANK STATEMENT of the purchases of goods that was sent in the parcel. They said they would’ve compensated me on all the items that have went missing and now PARCELMONKEY has gone back on their own word and said that “I will not be compensated for the goods lost as they are prohibited items” My problem with that is, if you KNEW the items were prohibited why on EARTH would you let me ship the parcel and let it go missing?! They didn’t state ANY OF THIS prior before and now that it’s time for me to get my refund they’re not providing me with one because now all of a sudden the items was prohibited and apparently wasn’t meant to be sent in the first place! If they was prohibited I don’t understand how they went through customs fine and then all of a sudden the item goes missing and it’s claimed to be “delivered” when it WASN’T. So my advice to anyone that wants to ship abroad, DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT use ParcelMonkey as they are unreliable, untrustworthy and are not willing to refund you when they lost the parcel as their tracking label failed and they couldn’t find the parcel. DO NOT USE PARCELMONKEY! Use them at your own risk! An absolute dreadful experience I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through. The amount of unnecessary stress that I’ve been put through because of this useless courier isn’t right! They are not trusted to ship parcels FULL STOP. Don’t even bother spending your big money to ship a parcel if it’s with ParcelMonkey because I guarantee you that parcel will NEVER reach it’s destination and ParcelMonkey won’t take any responsibility for it because of how much they lie to their customers! I even paid for parcel insurance just in case anytime happened to it during shipping and even that now they aren’t even mentioning my insurance but instead about the fact that the items sent was prohibited and I don’t get a refund. Additionally, ParcelMonkey Terrible customer service they don’t even have a number you can contact, what’s the point if you can’t even call them?? When you query with them they constantly send back ai-generated responses just being LAZY instead of offering real customer-service representatives to help with the situation, and when they do use their representatives to respond they’re also just as unhelpful and take DAYS to reply. What’s so ironic is that they literally post about how you can ship phones abroad with couriers like Courier and EVRI and now suddenly it’s ’prohibited’ like stop with the false advertisement and take accountability for the fact you’ve lost my parcel and now refusing a refund! BE AWARE of ParcelMonkey’s incompetence and DO NOT use them as a shipping company!!!

I am writing a new review due to ridiculous customer service. Parcel smashed by DPD. Photos and receipts provided to claim to replace the box, not even the contents. Trail has gone cold. Insurance from DPD seems to have been a waste of money as I can only communicate with Parcel Monkey, who are doing their best to avoid paying out a on a very modest claim. My advice would be to avoid using this company. Fine most of the time when things go ok but operating on the principle that the customer is always wrong when it does go wrong. To expect me to ask my recipient not only to take photos of the damage but also go back an take new photos that include the label is ridiculous. I trusted you to send my parcel; you should trust that most of your customers are honest people who do not submit fraudulent claims.

Dont do it. In the end I should have hired dpd directly or another company. This company makes the whole shipping just even more stressful Problem is that parcel monkey will act as the shipper and you have no control anymore about your parcels If you have an issue with for example dpd I am not allowed to communicate with DPD about issues as tax problems or destroyed parcels. Insurance etc And parcel monkey is not doing anything Classic talking out of the situation Please provide documents that obviously cant exist anymore because I shipped books and dont have these receipts. The whole communication with parcel monkey. Feels like Im texting to a couple of students who got the order to be nice but not to solve or help
