Shocking service. I paid £99.34 for a next day delivery of a large roll of carpet. Collection was on the evening ofThurs 14th March and was due to delivered on the 15th. It did not arrive. There is no number to call Parcel Monkey so I called DX the actual courier - after several calls (which cost around £10) I was frustrating told they acknowledged arrival in their depot but they no longer knew where it was and it was missing in their system. I was advised to open a claim with PM (although all I wanted was the carpet that I had arranged to be fitted and subsequently had to cancel). Without any communication from DX or PM it was finally delivered on 26th March - 12 days late. Infuriating. I have now been offer £22 as a refund by PM. Disgusting.

So, you pay £89 for a collection/delivery service. You carefully prepare the heavy parcel on a pallet. You wait in all Thursday. The carrier does not show. On Thursday evening Parcel Monkey then tell you that the earliest the parcel can be collected is Monday. This means the parcel has to be dismantled and taken inside and another day of waiting for a carrier who might - or might not arrive. Will there be compensation for the failure to deliver the contracted service and the considerable inconvenience caused? Of course not. Have a look at our terms and condition they say. If I fail to be there with the parcel ready on the agreed collection day will they say Never mind - well come another day. No. I will miss the collection and lose my money. If they mess up, well customer, thats tough. Its heads they win and tails customer loses.

I arranged for a parcel to be sent by ParcelForce but instead of being delivered within 48 hours it took 96 hours to be delivered. Parcel Monkey were not interested when I asked for compensation due to the service taking double the time it should have, as they said it was still delivered within the time in their terms and conditions.

Misleading information. On their website they claim: "We offer £20 of free cover for Parcel Monkey, Courier, DX, UK Mail, Tuffnells and DPD deliveries and £60 for Parcelforce." Wait until they lose your parcel and then they say: " I am sorry but we cannot reimburse you because you did not take any additional cover". Dreadful service to say the least. Never again!

The website is very easy to navigate and a godsend tor saving time. The carrier I chose was actually easier to investigate here than on its own website.

Have never sent a delivery to Poland before but transaction was conducted in Parcel Monkeys usual efficient and speedy fashion. Would definitely recommend.

Utter rubbish. Parcel was due to be collected yesterday after I spent nearly £40 for express delivery. Now parcel will be at least 2 days late. Parcel Monkey just said sorry .....no offer of credit, compensation, money off next parcel despite me being a regular customer..... Ive removed their website now and will go directly to the couriers from now on. Middle men.......thats all this company is, benefiting from the services that other companies offer

I booked a parcel consignment 8 days before the scheduled pickup date, yet no one turned up from DX Freight! Requested help from Parcel Monkey and all they would do is email the courier. They kept reminding me they were not the courier so were not responsible. After a full hour on their chat line I gave up, they could not confirm when the pallet consignment would be picked up or even if it would be picked up. Without doubt the worst courier broker service I have come across. Indeed it is not a service at all. Never again what a waste of time and just hope I get a full refund

Very good service. Service chosen took about same length time (or day less) than Royal Mail, but half the price. All good, delivered to my son in madrid in morning, so he was able to receive it. Not sure where he would have had to collect though, had he not been in. Would use again!

YOU ALL NEED TO REPORT THIS BUSINESS AS THEY ARE THIEVES. THEY TAKE MONEY, DO NOT COLLECT ITEMS AND DO NOT REFUND. I have just reported via CAB to Trading Standards. If they get enough people they will tackle them so do it now. Then I am reporting their theft to Police Scotland.
