Claim Approved, But Still No Payment – Nearly a Week Later After a long and emotionally exhausting claims process, Parcel Monkey finally agreed to settle my compensation claim (PM12880994) for £860 following the loss of my fully declared and insured iPad Pro. I was told the payment had been approved and to allow 3 business days for the funds to arrive. It’s now been nearly a week, and I’ve received nothing. No payment. No updates. No explanation. This delay, after everything I’ve already been through—the denied claim, false accusations of misdeclaration, contradictory emails, and poor customer service—is simply unacceptable. Every step of this process has been slow, frustrating, and unnecessarily drawn out. I’ve done my part. I provided every piece of evidence requested, stayed patient through delays, and accepted the compensation promptly. There is no valid reason why I should still be waiting for payment this long after approval. At this point, I’ve lost all confidence in Parcel Monkey’s ability to handle such matters professionally. What should have been resolved quickly has been turned into a weeks-long ordeal that continues to drag on. Enough is enough. Customers deserve better.

Struggled to find a drop off point as shops shown on website difficult with bigger boxes for small shops with limited space . Took 3 different trips to shops for me to finally drop off parcel .. took an extra day for it to arrive than day stated but got there ok so would use again now I know what shop to drop offf at

Update to My Ongoing Nightmare – Still No Escalation or Contact! Following my original review, Parcel Monkey responded publicly stating they had “escalated the case” and that someone from their team would be in touch. Unfortunately, that has NOT happened. Despite this public display of concern, there has been no actual follow-up, no contact from any team member, and no meaningful progress on my claim whatsoever. The case remains completely static — just as it has been for weeks. I am now significantly out of pocket, having lost a MacBook Pro worth over £2,100, along with £119.03 paid in insurance — insurance which now seems entirely meaningless. This public-facing "were sorry and looking into it" routine is clearly for show. Internally, nothing is being done. This is both misleading to the public and insulting to customers already pushed to the limit. To reiterate: No one has contacted me as promised. The case has not progressed at all. I am left chasing a vanished parcel and a vanishing act of customer service. I stand by my warning: if you’re considering using Parcel Monkey for high-value shipments, think very carefully. Their system may accept your money for “protection,” but if something goes wrong, don’t expect real accountability or support. Until they offer a proper resolution, I will continue to escalate this through every regulatory and legal channel available.

I mailed a package from the UK to the US at a much more reasonable cost than if I had sent it via Royal Mail. Instructions on mailing a package were clear (weight & dimensions needed, locate a drop off point & take it there). The need to print a label and invoice was an issue since I had no printer, but the receptionist where I was staying agreed to print the items for me. The package arrived on time and was in good shape.

BEWARE! Parcel Monkey fraudulently take funds from your bank account! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I sent an envelope weighing 220g (0.2kg) to the USA (Parcelforce Global Priority) costing £19.99 Parcel Monkey just took an extra £20 from my bank account without my consent, saying my small envelope had magically turned into a large box weighing 6kg! They have provided no proof, no photos (because they cant because its not true), but then have the audacity to ask the sender for photos after the event to prove you only sent an envelope. I dropped my ENVELOPE at the post office, they would have rejected it if I had lied and sent a really heavy box. Also, US customs would not have accepted a huge box, if I only declared a small envelope weighing 220g on the customs form. PM are liars and fraudsters with the worst and their help/support are hopeless. DO not use these fraudsters. I will be reporting the fraud to Barclays. You cannot take extra funds fraudulently from someone bank account without any supporting evidence. Shame on you. Envelope sent: 27cm x 20cm x 2cm (0.2kg) Box fraudulently charged for: 71cm x 42cm x 10cm (6kg)

I paid for a UPS courier delivery via Parcel Monkey reassured that it will reach the receiver in no more than a week...its been over 12 days and parcel still not delivered..stuck in a warehouse for over 5 days..poor service and unreliable

Bought courier service at £85, guy turns up and the parcel isnt ever delivered it was an Amazon return, London to Luton, all relevant labels attached. DX are the couriers. Parcel Monkey are impossible to speak to just ****py circuitous chatbots. It is a total SCAM. No support, Ive done all the checking, useless, cant track or resolve delivery issues but take large amounts of money.

only gave one star as it wouldnt let me give zero. I purchased an item on ebay and the seller sent it via Royal Mail parcel force 24hr service using Parcel Monkey as the platform. 3 days later still no sign of the parcel, RM do not recognise the tracking number, Parcel Monkey do not recognise the tracking number. Every time I enter PM129330xx (i have hidden the last 2 digits) it rejects it saying it needs to start with PM which is baffling seeing as it does start with PM. Their customer chat is useless, they said I need to have an account - however when I tried to start an account and had to click on email from them to verify the new account my anti virus went into overdrive and blocked access to the link due to it being linked to multiple viruses and reported scam sites. I am now going back and forth to some poor sod in India who just keeps repeating that i need to click a link that my antivirus is treating like the plague.

I booked a shipment with Parcel Monkey (Ref:PM12896270) on 8th April 2025 to send a MacBook Pro worth £2,185.75. I paid an additional £119.03 for insurance cover against loss or damage. Despite declaring the item clearly during booking, Parcel Monkey later dismissed my claim, citing their Restricted Items List and Clause 8 of their Terms & Conditions. However, they deliberately ignored Clause 8.1, which clearly states that liability is excluded only if the item was submitted without their knowledge. I declared the item. Their system accepted it. They charged me for full-value insurance. That constitutes full knowledge and acceptance — yet they denied my claim. Since then, I’ve received repetitive, generic responses, claiming the matter is with the courier. But I booked this service with Parcel Monkey, not the courier. They’ve shown no ownership or urgency, and I’ve had to chase them every step of the way. What’s worse — I’ve now seen several other reviews on Trustpilot describing identical experiences, where customers paid for insurance only to be denied compensation after loss. This recurring pattern suggests a systemic issue in Parcel Monkey’s platform, which allows users to insure restricted items and then hides behind T&Cs to avoid liability. Unless Parcel Monkey resolves my case promptly, I will escalate this to Trading Standards, Citizens Advice, the Financial Ombudsman, and the Small Claims Court. I urge others to be cautious. Their current practices are misleading and deeply unfair.

Do NOT use parcel monkey!! They say it’s cheap and convenient to book a collection or delivery - it is not! I was advised by Amazon (to Amazon, this is an epic fail on your ) to use parcel monkey who are fantastic at taking your money but due to being a third-party the agency between courier services: parcel force, wide world etc.. do not like using them! I have had now three failed attempts to collect a parcel that was supposed to be done on the same day.. 6 days later still no collection service (oh but was charged for it too, no refund yet either)! Absolute scam go direct DO NOT USE THEM!

The parcel was sent back to me, as EVRI said they could not find the delivery address. Resent parcel with parcel force at extra cost to myself. Not impressed as you Parcel Monkey recommend these companies. Which clearly seem to be Monkeys.
