I have been extremely disappointed with the service I received when booking an express 2 day delivery for my Christmas parcels home on the 1st December. I live in Scotland and booked this express 2 day service with Courier express to Ireland, through parcelmonkey. The package was delayed in pick up by 2 days and was then held with prohibited items(which turned out to be batteries for a prelit xmas garland within the plastic shipping container) until the 16th December! Despite my constant phone calls, no one could help me with my request to have it returned to origin- I even offered to drive 2 hours to the depot in Edinburgh but the customer service attendant couldnt guarantee it was there! When it did arrive back the container was smashed(it was a sturdy plastic storage box) and a birthday card for my niece had been torn open inside! I have since shipped it with another company and I am still waiting for my refund from ParcelMonkey(just short of £90) who keep giving me the run around- very unprofessional and I would advise other consumers not to avail of these services...

Its difficult to itemise every single object with a value when you are doing someone a favour sending on their belongings - are you supposed to put what the items would cost in the shops if new or some sort of second hand value which probably wouldnt be very much. If they belong to someone else anyway, very difficult to know much about £££. I appreciate this is a customs requirement and not of your making, but maybe some more guidance for the uninitiated would be possible.

Did NOT appreciate being woken up at 01.45!! I get my emails on my phone, which went off at 01.45 to ask me if they did okay. The short answer is: No you did not! Ridiculous time for your system to be sending out computer generated emails. Trouble is that when you speak to someone, the only answer you get is "Well its computer generated". So who programmed the computer to send at that time? If I could give zero stars, I would.

Reasonable price for UK > SG delivery, arrived on time.
Parcel lightly damaged by one of the forwarding companies, but content intact - so make sure you use sturdy (but environmentally friendly) packaging

If I could give less I would. Lost a 2kg parcel of mine to Australia. DPD express air 3-5 day service. Didn’t collect from Sainsbury’s until 3 days after I had dropped off. DPD showed item was to be delivered on Monday just gone and it never showed up. As of right now no one knows where my parcel is and the items in it which are made by me are midwife scrubs for my friend who is a midwife and working over Christmas plus her daughters birthday that was Monday just gone which included a birthday present in for her daughter. Now no one can tell me where it is or when it might arrive and keep giving me bs excuses that they’ll get back to me.
