Parcel Monkey is love ???? I couldn’t think of going to those nasty websites myself as this is such a comfort and ease of use that you can send anything anywhere without a hassle of getting lost whilst trying to get a parcel label.

Because of the weight (15 kilos) and value of our parcel of books to Canada, full on-line customs form needed.Rather complicated to complete but OK after a couple of attempts. Not enough room on the online form for the compete address which made us worry "will it be delivered OK?") The printed label also shows one less rows of address than the computer form, i.e. one line does not print! Also it is not possible to use special characters (e.g."#" or "-") which were part of the customers street address. However, parcel taken to local UK Post Office on 24th January and delivered to Vancouver, Canada on the 29th January. No problems with customs and delivery, all fine. Quick delivery.

I use DPD via Parcel Monkey regularly and am never disappointed. This particular package from Lancashire to the Dorset coast was there the following morning (and I hadnt even chosen Next Day Service!).

Delivery was stated at 4 to 7 days. That was 6 days ago on 26 January. Latest delivery date we have is 19 February. A significant increase in the 7 days quoted.

Last minute cancellation of a washing machine so I wasted a day off on Thursday. Then they promised they would deliver on Saturday, which I confirmed with them - will you definitely deliver on Saturday? I do not want to waste another day off Yes, we will deliver on Saturday. I received two text messages saying they would deliver today and they gave me an exact timeframe in a text yesterday. I was sat waiting around and phoned them. They then said they did not even have the washing machine and to get in touch with the company I ordered from. Another wasted day. Absolutely horrendous. I have cancelled the order, will get my money back and hope to never use Dx again.

PLEASE PLEASE, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I’m just starting legal action against them to recover my money from them. 3 months after the courier company admitting that they had lost my pallet which I paid extra to insure with them, they refuse to pay my claim. I now have the hassle to go through the courts or be £800 out of pocket. PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THIS WARNING AND JUST BOOK DIRECT WITH THE CARRIERS

Would never use again. After taking my money I could not login to review my order, and my emails wwre ignored. No telephone help with this company. Then Courier failed to another courier when they said they would, and turned up 3 days later.. Shambles!!!

Parcel Monkey is an excellent search engine for sending parcels. It is simple to use, quick and gives you very good value. But dont use Hermes for anything breakable even if you are extremely careful packing and place in a very strong cardboard box, sealed well. I would say I was overly careful packing and writing FRAGILE on every face of the box didnt help either. I would recommend Parcel Monkey to anyone but not Hermes.
