This order was great, but you have a problem when quoting for remote areas (Highlands) the price is increased at checkout

That's correct. Remote areas are surcharged by the couriers so once the full address details are known the quote will adjust if necessary.

A 2 hour time slot would be better so people don't have to wait in all day to have a parcel delivered/collected

We can only provide collection times that the couriers themselves can manage I'm afraid. At the moment this is "anytime"
