I’ve have given parcel monkey the benefit of the doubt and have allowed them 10 weeks to investigate the lost parcel I arranged a delivery service for. I trusted the advisor dealing with my claim as I’d taken out extra cover for such an event of lost/missing parcels and was assured through the claims process that once all evidence had been gathered from the courier company that my claim would be processed. I can only guess that parcel monkey have not been able to reach a conclusion with “said” courier company so they’ve today refused my claim with the reason of “ Consignment PM********** is not eligible for compensation under the terms and conditions you agreed to when booking. The item in question is listed on our prohibited items list under “Jewellery Valued Over £250 (carried on a no-compensation basis)”. My parcel was jewellery but the valued cost was £231.75 total!!! So who’s not telling the truth here ? They’ve delayed responding & ignored messages! This companies name is not lost on me “ parcel monkey” isn’t far from the truth, more like “pass the buck monkey”

How is it so bad? Item was collected but shortly after I received a cryptic message saying my parcel is “on its way back to parcel monkey” with no reason given, heading to somewhere it has never been. Then having asked what was happening I wait 3 days for an update on a 24 hour service, and am told the parcel is damaged and for that reason is being returned. I ask where it is being returned to and wait another 24 hours without reply. Never again

Not a bad company to deal with until one of your parcels go missing, then they are completely useless or at least they have been in my case. They ask you to deal with any issues through them rather that contacting the courier direct. The problem is that when you do they do absolutely nothing to resolve the situation. They take ages to reply to your messages and when they do they send seemingly generic responses, probably composed by AI. Take my advice and book your deliveries directly with the courier, its certainly what I will be doing after my recent experience. It is actually cheaper in some cases and Im guessing that it will be easier when it comes to resolving missing or damaged items.

My parcel was received safely, although the box was reasonable damaged, but packaging was luckily well executed.
I was a little disappointed regarding the tracking process as I could only follow tracking until 03 Oct 25
and I finally received the parcel on 13 Oct 25.

My experience with Parcel Monkey has been incredibly disappointing. My parcel was not collected on the scheduled day, and it was almost impossible to get hold of anyone for support. After finally reaching someone through the chatbox, I was simply told the collection “didn’t take place” and couldn’t be rebooked for the same day. Instead, I had to wait until the following day — delaying my client’s delivery by two full days. When you’re running a business, reliability is non-negotiable. This level of service is unacceptable, and I won’t be using Parcel Monkey again.

Great value for money
The only thing that stopped the 5* was the dpd courier was supposed to deliver on Friday, but actually delivered on Saturday and was going to deliver to another property (number 8) Luckily my partner saw him as he was on his way out and told him where number 16 was.

Although purchasing on the website went well, the FedEx terminals did not work in the shop. I tried 5 in total. Eventually I found one working and although paid for next day delivery, did not arrive until 4 days later. Very disappointed in service.

Avoid this Company! They provided a list of shops to drop my parcel for a courier service, the first 3 shops i tried told me they did not provide the service for years! Parcel monkey agreed to to refund me but did not!. The Name suits them!

Thank you for your message. I’ve been informed that my claim will not be settled, but no explanation has been provided. The parcel has now been missing for over a month, I request that my parcel is also found and delivered and I would prefer this over compensation, if you do need more documents please let me know, as I have provided it all on your site. Before I consider any further action, please can you confirm the following: What specific reason was used to decline the claim? What evidence or information was relied upon to make this decision? Has a full investigation been completed with the courier, and if so, what was their final conclusion? Is there any additional information you require from me for the claim to be reconsidered? I would appreciate a clear written response to these points within 5 days If I do not receive a satisfactory explanation or resolution, I will have to review my next steps, including legal action to recover the value of the lost parcel.

having taken extreem care in weighing and measuring the case and verifing the weight on parcel force scales and having allowed extra on the weight and dimensions when booking I am still charged two pounds and twenty pence for this item without any back up information from parcelmonkey.

The saga continues... After finally admitting they lost my package, 2 months after I sent it, they said the claims department will contact me so I could claim on my insurance I bought with them. Its been another 3 weeks since then and they have stopped replying to my messages. I feel like my only option is to contact trading standards. Absolutely disgraceful company.
