My mother is disabled with restricted mobility, driver refused to put the heavy package into the hallway had to ask neighbour. Digusting!

Would be far better if a specific time I.e. Am pm could be given,rather than a any time between 8 am 6 pm kind of wrecks your day waiting in

We agree but at the moment can only offer what the couriers themselves can manage. Unfortunately for now that has to be an "Anytime" collection window i'm afraid.
