Had a parcel sent to me from an Italian customer, weighing 6.6kg. (Only one item inside) Once work was completed on the item, it was repackaged in its original packaging. Parcel measured and reweighed, booked with parcel force via parcel monkey. Paid for 7kg for good measure. Once the parcel had arrived at one of parcel forces hubs parcel monkey then decided to take a further £34 from my bank account as the parcel now miraculously weighs 28kg according to parcel force. The irony it was delivered to me via parcel force / gls without issue of weight and parcel size. Complain to parcel force and they don’t want to know. So beware of parcel monkey taking your money for no good reason.

Absolutely shameless this company given the shambolic the way they handled my last parcel, failed to deliver it even though an alternate address was provided and a contact phone number, then the had the audacity to charge me £16.00 to have my parcel returned to me, I will never use this so called Company again and will never recommend them to nobody ever. So much for Customer Relations. MY ADVICE "STEER WELL CLEAR".

Collection was good and happened on the arranged day. Paid for 24 hour service but delivery took 48 hours. No communication about delivery being late. No refund offered to take the price down from the cost of a 24 hour booking to the cost of a 48 hour booking.

I recently sent a parcel from UK to Malaysia. Booking the delivery was all ok and easy enough to do. After sending it off, a few days later i received a message from parcel monkey to state that the parcel is being held and awaiting for duty tax. I replied and asked for an explanation of what exact taxes needed to be paid and what is the next steps. The reply was that my parcel was being held in Malaysia and i was given a phone number to contact. I am aware of the dial codes for Malaysia and the phone number given to me was not a familiar one, upon googling the number it stated that it was a phone number for somewhere in China. I did not call this number as i knew if my parcel was being held in Malaysia there is no way i would need to call another country for this. I checked the tracking on the DPD website and on there it stated that my parcel was attempted to be delivered but no one was home, so it is at the local depot awaiting further instructions. I called up DPD, who were more than helpful ! I explained the situation and they were able to check where my parcel was. The DPD tracking was correct- It had been attempted to be delivered but no one was home. I then told them to keep the parcel at the local depot and the recipient would go there and pick up the parcel. During this time i received another email from Parcel monkey stating that my parcel was not 6kg like i declared but was 11.50kg and i was asked to pay an extra £32.39. I weighed the parcel before sending it off and knew for a fact it could not have been overweight- especially by that much. I contacted the recipient and asked them to weigh the parcel when they picked it up and it was 6kg - not 11.50kg ! Overall in this experience, i was almost scammed twice- One with fake duty taxes and one with an fake overweight parcel. Before deciding to use Parcel Monkey i read through reviews and it did seem like a safe company to use. It could have just been a one off bad experience for me or this could be a recurring issue. Either way i personally will not be using Parcel Monkey again and my advice to those who do decide to use it is to not pay any extra charges they ask for, investigate if they ask you for extra charges/payments and take a photo of your parcel on a weighing scale before you send it off. Luckily i am very vigilant and will always investigate before paying any fees/charges, but there are people who are very naive and who could have easily be conned out of money.

It was good to have different levels of service offered, and alternative prices. I choose a company I have never used before and they were very efficient, turned up when they said they would and tracked all the way

Good service. Happy with the monkeys.
Only downside are you cant pay cash at post office. And if problems arrise you cant phone parcel force direct.

I MUST SAY... THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE USED THE CARRIER. ????SERVICE WAS FANTASTIC????.
I PLACED THE ORDER FOR *SAME DAY DELIVERY* AROUND 3:00am IN THE MORNING.
THE CARRIER ARRIVED JUST BEFORE 9:00am AND MY PARCEL WAS DELIVERED LESS THAN AN HOUR LATER.
I EVEN RECEIVED A PHONE CALL AROUND 4:00am TO CONFIRM WHEN THE CARRIER WOULD ARRIVE TO PICK UP THE PARCEL.

Was soooo easy to use just measured my parcels appropriate weight and up came the best price for courier, perfect service. Even using the reduced cost of printing my own labels these were sent within 30 mins and same day collection.

Terrible Customer Service. Goods damaged by courier and they would not issue a refund. Their excuse was that the photos from the Company that received the goods werent detailed enough (which they patently were)
