A difficult package of an unwrapped sailing bag was collected in Glasgow and delivered to Worcester in 24 hours with no delays.

As an old stick in the mud I have always gone to the post office and sent my parcels by special delivery but they out priced themselves this time and a quick google search brought up Parcel Monkey.
Prices looked good so I decided to give them a try.
I booked the collection online at 5:30am and it was collected by 4pm the same day and safely delivered 250 miles away the following morning.
Very happy with the service and will definitely be using them again.
Pay peanuts, get monkeys. Clearly thats not always the case as Parcel Monkey have proved.

Sent a 60cmx45cmx40cm box weighing 25kg from UK to Italy.
Cost £21 (using Parcelforce - if Id gone to Parcelforce direct the cost would have been over £60!)
Collected from my home on Thursday.
Delivered Tuesday and was able to track the whole journey!!!
Cannot fault them - highly recommended.
Now thats great service!!!!

Detailed packing instruction could have been given earlier in the website process. You do not pack five mins before pick-up.
Not much else to say except that it works and the price was amazing.

When entering your address be careful. Its my mistake too but the monkey site allowed me to enter an address with errors and the house number missing Which caused issues. More address validation would be good.

First day they said they came to collect the parcel and none was available! Liars! Cctv recorded the guy who did not ring any bell!!! And i was inside! Second time the guy said the label was not correct! Ans it was the label parcelmonkey sent to me by email. They don t have telephone number. They are horrible! Don t lose your money! The lie! And i ll never use it! Shame!

I had an account block after I was notified of the following "Jimmy: A number of losses have been made against your account so I am afraid it has now been blocked. To try and get it unlocked or discuss this further please raise a CRM" Was followed up with this "Claims Team Good Morning, Thank you for your message. Unfortunately we have been informed that your account has generated a negative margin as such the management has put your account offline. Kind Regards, Olivia" I left the following comment "Ooo offline because generating a negative margin that is not my fault that is yours for giving rates which are non-profitable than!" and thats me gone forever, I wouldnt use them in future and I would steer well clear, you can cheaper rates on other services like My Parcel Delivery, another courier etc save yourself the hassle! I found the service rude, arrogant and obnoxious

We have just returned back from a weeks holiday in Devon. The day before we went away we sent a record player to an ebay buyer which was booked to Parcelforce via Parcel Monkey. Unfortunately despite packing the item with a lot of packaging it was damaged by Parcelforce whilst in transit. We found this out when we returned from holiday and the buyer (via ebay) had requested a refund. I contacted Parcel Monkey straight away (via their online support as they do not have a phone number) who apologised and agreed they would process the claim and hoped that we would use their service again. I wrote back on their system and thanked them and said I looked forward to hearing back regarding the compensation. Shortly after I received a message from their claims department stating that actually I wasnt due any compensation as I hadnt informed them within 3 working days. I wrote back and said I had only just returned from holiday (I never said to them where Id been,I just said holiday) after being away for a week and so had only just found out about this myself checking my emails having seen a demand from the buyer asking for a refund. I also told them the buyer had sent me photos of the damage and also proof in writing, which proves it is a genuine case. I then receive a further message from Parcelmonkey demanding to see a copy of my flight ticket showing airline, arrival time as we need to take your statement into consideration!!!!! I HADNT EVEN BEEN ABROAD NOR HAD I EVEN STATED THAT I HAD ONLY THAT I HAD BEEN AWAY. PARCELMONKEY - CUSTOMERS ARE GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT

On the 8th of July I had a parcel collected that was due to be sent to Thailand. The collection took place as scheduled. Once the parcel arrived in Thailand it was held in customs, I was then told I had duty, tax and handling fees to pay. This was not stated at any point during the delivery process. I accepted this was the countrys charges not the delivery companys, however trying to get clear information and assistance regarding how I can pay these fees has been near impossible. I have been told the wrong information constantly, first I was told the recipient had to pay the fees at the point of delivery, then I was told I could make the payment via Parcel Monkey and there would be an additional £10.00 admin charge for them to do so. I went ahead and requested they process this payment for me, the funds then left my account, only for them to send me another e-mail saying the recipient was to contact the destination office and pay the fees (Fees I have already paid!!!) I then had to get the recipient to call the destination office and confirm the payment had been made however they wouldnt accept their word and requested Parcel Monkey confirm the payment had been made. I am still waiting for this to happen. I am worried my item will never arrive, I have had awful communication from Parcel Monkey and fear the additional money they have taken from my account (£58.73) to pay the fees may never reach the customs office. I completely regret ever using this site.

No issues whatsoever with my 53kg of parcels sent from the UK to France - great service, impeccable even - as it arrived a day earlier than predicted... and even the local courier arrived 5 hours ahead of when they said they would...
BUT
The booking and tracking process a little flawed.
IMPOSSIBLE to enter a correct address for the pickup - lines limited to 12 characters, wont accept punctuation etc.
Would be very simple to send the track/booking links in each mail - i received 6 emails for this pickup - only one of them had the tracking detail

I will never be using this service again. Although on your website you say you dont cover insurance for guitars, does that mean you will automatically re them with no respect. The guitar was in a padded case, and quite clearly in the shape of a guitar. When it arrived to the person I sent it to the front of the guitar body had been completely smashed. It was a hard, sturdy guitar and the only thing that could have done that was a heavy-duty hit. Maybe a driver just chucked it in the back of the van, I dont know. But was is undeniable is that it was treated with complete disregard and no respect. I will never be using your services again and will warn everyone I know against it as well. I will probably never hear back from you but just to say, its despicable.

Booked an item for collection today but received a message telling me that there was a problem when I contacted them they informed me there was an error with the address being too long (10 character length) and now the item had to be collected tomorrow meaning it will be delivered after the weekend. The staff are completely unhelpful and do not want to know your problem. Will not be using again.

Booked a large parcel with this service, costing over £35, using Parcelfarce 48, be collected on the 14th July. When 6pm came and nobody had come to collect, i phoned parcelfarce to see what was happening. They informed me that they had been and that no-one was in. Impossible i said, as we had been in all day and asked to check which address they had called at, which it turns out wasnt my house number and was a ficticious one, as the house number quoted doesnt exist on this street. Not impressed with their incompetence i re-booked collection for the next day, baring in mind the 15th was my birthday to which i had taken the day off work to enjoy having a meal with friends and family, and let them know this so would appreciate an early collection....... Finally turned up at 4pm on the 15th!!!!!! Birthday meal had to be cancelled and waited in all day for these clowns, wasting a rest day off work too!!!!! Impressed i am not and will probably NEVER use parcel monkey or parcelfarce ever again....thanks for a memorable 43rd birthday!!!!!!! Made a right monkey of me.

The object to book a parcel delivery is for the parcel to be collected on the day booked. If this doesnt happen you would expect the booking company to take control, not with Parcel Monkey. I spent a lot of time trying to get Parcel Monkey to sort it out, which they wouldnt and didnt. I had to contact Parcel Force office 4 times before I could contact my local office then I had to contact my local Parcel Force office a further 5 times before the parcel was collect 24 hours late. SERVICE WAS RUBBISH I ENDED UP LOSING A DAYS WAGES AS I HAD TO STAY IN WAITING FOR PARCEL FORCE. THE PARCEL WAS COLLECTED AT 17.30, after calling the local office yet again at 17.00. NEVER NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE THIS RUBBISH COMPANY.
