Absolutely disgraceful from the very off! Started by Yodel not turning up on the specified date of pick up (2 days later they turned up). The person didnt receive the parcel. The fun and games begun then. Wont go into the ins and outs but 28 days later I receive a refund of £31 instead of £188 for the lost / stolen item.This company take no responsibility whatsoever although they assured me throughout the process I would get a FULL refund, LIARS LIARS LIARS. I regard this as theft no help whatsoever I warn you all to STEER CLEAR OF THIS SET OF CHIMPS!

Was really happy with the service from Parcel Monkey, 3 parcels picked up the same day as I placed my order and delivered with no problems the next day.

1) PM website only allows a ridiculously short address 2) PM only passed the first line of address on to delivery company 3) Pickup driver couldnt find it and did not phone the number I had provided x 2 4) Got PMs snidely-worded message saying "sorry YOU were unavailable" x2 I was available and waiting x2. No explanation as to why it was not picked up. Just rescheduled for the same thing to happen 5) PM dont have a customer service number. It is done by online chat. Spent 25 minutes chatting and asking to get the pickup address changed so the driver would have a better chance of picking up the package. PMs staff assured me the address had been changed, only for a confirmation email to come through with the OLD address on it. Had to repeat the process. 6) This delay resulted in a delay with potential repercussions at the delivery end. VERDICT: PATHETIC - Will not use again

Had my doubts using this service as i have never used it before but was recommended by a friend,very easy to use and being able to use paypal was an added bonus,i would recommend to anyone needing a courier service!!

I am very pleased with the DPD Service. It was easy and accurate to trace my parcel. The price was competitive (very cheap). The delivery was fast.

Living in Italy, it is not always straightforward sending parcels back to the UK. We used a very good courier service from central Italy to Exeter (Euroman with Van) to collect a rare part of a historic car from Italy and then through Parcel Monkey we organised a delivery service from Exeter to NE England. All we had to do was measure, package up weigh and then print out the labels. All straightforward and efficient, we would use Parcel Monkey again because of the advantages of comparing the different courier services. A reliable and effective service, many thanks!

Dont ever use this service for International shipping, I had a very bad experience from the first day I book my shipment, collection never came on the agreed date, Also collector was not aware about the shipment. Customer service is terrible , they only good in charging money from client. I have end up paying double, but still the shipment havent gone to the destination. I will not use this service again in my Life

Booked a 2 day service and the parcel arrived after 4 days. Too late to be in time for my nephews birthday so he ended up without a present but not late enough receive a refund (which is only given if the parcel is 5 days late...). Wont be using them again.

I have used parcel monkeys services to send parcels to my sister in Greece quite a few times now and I cant rate them highly enough! The service is excellent they arrange pickup from me and delivery to my sisters door without any problems, the parcel arrived in perfect condition and within the delivery timeline I had chosen. I shall continue to use parcel monkey in the future. Thank you for being an excellent reasonable service.

Now using PM regularly as it is easy to use and the systems are improving. However, on the 1 occasion where it went wrong, it went horribly wrong and you feel like PM want nothing to do with their suppliers, although I not sure how this would stand up in the SCC? but on the whole a good service which is simple to use and for the most part reliable!

I paid for mail to be collected and rang parcel force (as there was no number for Parcel Monkey) to let me no when the parcel will be picked up so I will be available. They said they will ring me but never did so and the driver came to pick up the parcel in my absence. The parcel was sent a day later but it arrived safeky on time. It will be helpful if customers are asked to take their parcel to the nesrest post office.

Amazing.... more than half the price given in the post office to send to Portugal, I will certainly be using them again for ANY parcels I need to send as it was very easy and all I had to do after giving the details was print the label and then either have them collect from my door or drop it off at a local post office.. Fab Service..!!

In the "info for delivery" field, I asked to leave the parcel with a neighbor in case nobody was at home. This was actually done by the deliverer. Thanks for that. Everything else went to my satisfaction as well.
One hint for parcelmonkey: you should make it more clear on your website that by choosing parcelforce, you do not have to print out anything yourself. This could be relevant for people who do not have a printer at their disposition.

Apart form the fact that the parcel was delivered on time as scheduled, I liked the fact that they have notified me (by email) with the pick up and delivery times on the corresponding dates.

I have used this company twice now, like the concept of the website, however the delivery of the service is unreliable, First parcel returned, second parcel, even after a week has still not been pick up!!! I hope you sort yourselves out, sorry cannot trust you to delivery our promise to our customers, back to parcel force.

The communication between City Sprint and Parcel Monkey is chaotic, they blamed each other and just couldnt make the delivery happen. I booked a same day delivery at midday, and expected the driver at around 3pm because the deadline of the delivery was 4:30pm. He has arrived after 5pm though I called CitySprint and ParcelMonkey 3 times and they told me that he was on his way. When he arrived he said he only received the order 30 minutes ago. Well, that was after the deadline as well... Job cancelled.

I have sent a suitcase from UK to Italy and it arrived in perfect conditions, but 4 days later that the expected date. A bit disappointing, of course, but at least the parcel has arrived and in very good conditions. I found this website cheaper than others, so if not in a rush for the delivery, its worth using it.

PM let down by Parcel Force who failed to collect on the day I paid for although they collected parcels only 200 yds away. Parcel Force did collect the next day and successfully delivered nextday. PM systems were good and have been excellent on previous occasions.

I could kick myself for using Parcel Monkey as their company name says it all, for just as you would not use a company called Financial Vultures or Woodworm Carpenters... you should certainly not use Parcel Monkey... thats unless you want your parcels managed by monkeys. I absolutely get the point Parcel Monkey are merely brokers & the fact my parcel went missing was down to Yodel (separate review to follow), although my gripe is that this company follow business tactics that I had assumed were abolished a fair few years ago. First of all they broadcast the Google-searched message of "Free cover for loss/damage" which it now transpires is not entirely true (only if you "opt in" & your parcel is valued under £20), secondly, if you are eligible for free delivery, as mentioned above, you have to opt in. Thirdly, the submission form is structured in such a way that could be taken as being misleading with vital pieces of information or selection criteria not being mandatory or in a position that is easily viewed. Finally, if anything goes wrong, you get the brush off. The Monkeys have had their money... so deal with the problem yourself. It could be argued that there is small print that should be read before you acknowledge the terms & conditions... although my counter-argument is that something so important as insurance should not be hidden away or placed in a position that does not flow with the rest of the submission criteria, especially when "free cover for loss/damage" is advertised. The obvious answer is that if you do "find" the insurance selection & realise you have to pay for cover on assets valued over £20, the cost of Parcel Monkeys service is equal to that of their competitors. In addition, going with a competitor will allow you a good opportunity in fighting your case if something goes wrong. Parcel Monkey just hangs around the top of the tree hoping you will eventually go away. In summary, you want a service like Parcel Monkey to be clear & concise & if the consequence means their total price is equal to that of the Royal Mail, then customers will opt for the company with the best service.... & this is why Parcel Monkey know they must be as ambiguous as possible... for customer service is not their forte... & this unfortunately hits people like you & I. Use at your own risk as Parcel Monkey are poor... very. very poor!
