I wanted to send a small item to my Son who is travelling in Peru, Parcel Monkey quoted me 4-6 days for delivery, which I thought was reasonable for the cost of £27. Oh how wrong I was. ! It is now day 12 and despite numerous contacts to PM via email, (there is no other way of contacting them.) I have no justifiable answer. The incompetence began when they told me they attempted a delivery the item and it was refused ! when I asked them what address they had attempted delivery to, they told me my own home address in UK, even though that address was not on the label - How Does that Happen ?? I of course, fear the worst and dont hold out much hope for the item reaching its destination. How do I get compensated / refunded, I have been told I cannot make a complaint until the item is delivered. Its a joke ! Which I find far from funny. September 20th update: Still no sign of the item, my son has been hanging around at the address now for weeks, waiting for this. They claim they attempted delivery and left a card yesterday (19th) but there is no sign of a card, and the reception is open 24 hours and there is always someone there. They said they will make another attempt today - watch this space.

Only issue is with Parcel Monkey system taking a long time to transfer the data to the Parcel Force systems, which makes it hard for the depot personal to accept the parcel.

The service was nice and quick. I ordered the collection a day before and the packages arrived 3 days later. No problem, just need to well package your things.

I followed the tracking for this parcel online and was amazed that by the evening on the day it was picked up it was already in Cincinnati, with an attempted delivery the next day. My son was not in and arranged a delivery at another date but Im still in shock at how quickly this was delivered.
Everything arrived safely with no damage.
Im very pleased.

Our boxes have been completely broken, half of the things we carefully packed have been destroyed. So far I cant find a customer service contact number to inform parcel monkey. Very disappointed.

Save yourself the hassle and never use them. They are very good when everything is okay but are very horrible when things go wrong. Sent a parcel of two boxes to Nigeria and the local courier damaged all the items. I even had pictures to show parcel monkey and the claims team turn around to tell me that my packing was not right and I sent food items. Baby milk, cereal and jar foods which are normally well packaged had been soaked and some items opened. Thats £280+ down the drain. You are better off going directly to the courier company itself. Parcel monkey are horrible horrible!

Sorry to hear your item is damaged, we do not handle the goods as a courier reseller. The claims team review the packaging to see if the parcels are prepared correctly, and also food is on our prohibited items list at the time of booking so they would not be able to help for this item of food stuffs. This would be the same should you book direct as our packaging guide is based on the couriers as is our list of prohibited items.

Having lots of reservations when choosing the right option for sending numerous parcels from UK to Spain for the first time, I am satisfied with the service provided. The dispatch was collected on time, traceable through by handling company and than another provider in Spain. The delivery was on time, within one hour window, with one day notice.
What would be useful on the Monkey side is parcel dimensions vs. weight parameters clearly explained as per provider/service type. Guess and check as per the general suggestion is time consuming when one wants to custom make number of boxes to optimise costs of dispatch.

We booked this online in the afternoon, parcel was collected next day and delivered the next working day after that - happy with the service provided and excellent for ad hoc parcel service as we do not need parcels delivered very often

This is without doubt the worst service i have ever received from a professional company. I had organised a shipping of my bike from London to Denmark. I packed the bike accordingly to the standards and attached the label securely. The scheduled pickup was on a Friday but it didnt get picked up until the following Tuesday, which i can live with. They can be held responsible for every little delay. About 4 days later i received a parcel which clearly wasnt my bike. It was an A4 doc containing old walkie-talkies, phones etc, but with my label one which clearly said "Bike" and the given dimensions of my parcel. Now this sounds fishy, since how come the label i so securely attached myself ended up on a completely different parcel. 4 weeks later and they still hadnt sorted out this situation, claiming they hadnt heard from the currier. I mean 4 weeks! When i mentioned the ombudsman they suddenly got into action, funny enough. However now they are asking for evidence implying that in various ways that i didnt sent my bike in the first way! I simply cant believe this. Late pickup, wrong parcel, waiting 4 weeks for a response and now they are trying to frame me. Know this, you should stay away from this service. They might be cheap but it comes at a price.

I have used their services many times to both send and collect items of various sizes and weight. The options available are vast and the choices simple. Registering was a doddle and if you dont particularly like a courier
(I refuse to use the Royal Mail) you can choose one of many alternatives. Simple cheap, reliable and flexible. You cant ask more.

Day 1: Booked a next day delivery, but item was not collected. Day 2: Called Parcelforce early morning and was assured parcels would be collected by 1pm. Day 3: Arrived to office to find a note from courier saying they had come at 6pm day before but no one in! So re-arrange with Parcelforces courier directly on his mobile for items to be collected that same day. Again they either didnt turn up or turn up after close of business. Day 4: Parcels finally collected!! Not a next day delivery at all, DO NOT send anything important. No one accepts responsibility when things dont go right. Courier blames parcel monkey, parcel monkey directs you to courier. Needless to say will not be using again. Very frustrating!!

This was the first time that I have used Parcel Monkey, I didnt want to pay the high prices of Parcelforce. I had reservations, as I dont have a home printer and wasnt sure if I could save the documents that I needed to print for later. The whole process was very easy, I opted to use DPD which was the cheapest but needed me to print the document (which was simply emailed to me so I could print out wherever I chose). Communication was excellent, and DPD (I used their drop off service)were excellent with the service, time, tracking info etc. Will certainly use Parcel Monkey next time with no worries based on my first experience.

2kg box collected from Sheffield, UK Tuesday pm. Delivered to rural New Zealand the following Monday AM on an economy service. I might just do my grocery shopping online from the UK now.
