Superb service despite the website is no too accurated overall was good

My parcel was going to Ireland and was very well packaged and labelled right way up to keep it upright, when it arrived it had been tipped upside down and damaged therefore not working. Not happy as may have to refund the buyer.

I am very sorry to hear the item was damaged, we do not handle the goods as a courier reseller. Parcel Monkey resells courier services such as DPD the one you chose, who use huge parcel networks, numerous vans and warehouses so fragile items are not suited for this unless they are extremely well packaged. We also offer protection cover at the time of booking to cover the goods against damage, if you have opted in for this, please contact us so we can pass you to our Claims Team.

Bought a pair of boots on Amazon cheap in the UK compared to Ireland, the Post Office in the UK wanted 45 sterling to ship it over to Ireland, Parcel Monkey had it delivered from UK to Ireland in 2 days and for 16 quid...outstanding and so easy to use.

I am very happy with the service. The prices were so much cheaper than if you went to the courier services direct or through the Royal Mail. It was quite straightforward and got to my customer really quickly.
My only negative comment is that i didnt really know where i was supposed to stick the address and customs labels, and i dont have any of the clear sticky envelopes so was a bit nervous about US Customs accepting a poly pocket.
I will definately use Parcel Monkey again.

Reasonably easy to calculate postage costs and compare services to see whats right for you. Online chat is helpful and was needed in my case as, over an hour after buying the postage, no printable label or instructions were emailed to me so I had to re-request these. Parcel was collected with no problems (other than no receipt from ParcelForce as they claimed not to have any on them at the time, but thats not Parcel Monkeys fault).

Lost two parcels in a row. First parcel I had to do the legwork they dont even try to find it then they just blame the courier but as you dont place the order with the actual courier you cant really follow through. Anyway after losing the second one you think there would be some sympathy no such luck after 2 weeks and conceding it was lost got told rudely that it was company policy to settle the insurance in 4 weeks, not within 4 weeks but at 4 weeks. 6 weeks after placing order was settled along with a template apology. You know parcel monkey if you are reading this sometimes things happen even twice in a row and customers understand this but when you treat them like morons they like I are going direct to the courier. Dear Mark from PM who replied to my earlier bad review, you should really read before defending the poor service. The courier who you contracted had already confirmed the parcel was lost before the claim was started. Even knowing that it was lost your company insisted it was a 4 week wait, your help people were no help at all. I got exactly the same template emails as the first time. " We are so sorry but this is a rare occurrence,we hope you have a great weekend. " really? What would have helped was a prompt resolution, personal service, and genuine care that your company stuffed up. Maybe even a credit or discount next to encourage the customer to return. Like I said stuff happens its how you deal with it that makes the difference pm just fob you off

I sent a parcel with Parcel Monkey and before booking I did a search on their restricted items for console table to ensure this was not on their list and thankfully nothing was flagged, I paid extra insurance to ensure my parcel was fully covered in case of damage. I heard from my customer that unfortunately the console table had been severely damaged so I pit a claim in and low and behold they are saying the item is not covered!! apparently they do not cover tables yet this is not a table and worse still this did not flag up as restricted. I paid nearly £40 for this to be sent to my customer and now I may have to pay out over £100 in compensation! I will be going to the office of fair trading as this is obviously some kind of scam to ensure items are not flagged as restricted enticing the customer to pay for a service they clearly arent going to get. Shame on you!

Sorry to hear the item has been damaged, we at Parcel Monkey do not handle the goods, we resell the courier service. Furniture is listed as prohibited on our website and this is listed at the time of booking for customers to check. If you are unhappy with the outcome of the claim, please raise a support ticket FAO Manger so this can be looked into. However, it is made clear what items are prohibited and we work closely with Trading Standards to make sure we are above board with our prohibited list and terms and conditions.

It has taken more than a week to get to the location. It is suppose to turn up today. Thought it should have not taken more than 7 days. I also tried to change the pick up due to a family emergency, and ended up with the pick up driver showing up twice. I also could not track it while this was going on to confirm there would not be a second collection.

Reached New Zealand in a few days with no problems..
Excellent service.

A polite man collected my parcel when stated, the parcel arrived as stated, my quote from the post office was approx £36 I paid Parcel Monkey approx £17, my parcel was large so Parcel Monkey by collecting from my address made it much easier for myself, would highly recommend this service.

the parcel was picked up fine, and delivered to France no problems apart from when it arrived the goods were damaged inside, this is when I found out how bad parcel monkey was all they did was try their hardest at every part of the claim procedure not to pay out the claim, like closing the case 3 days early, we sent pictures, described how the item was packed and jumped through all their hoops, just to be told our claim was not successful, with no way of disputing their judgement we send out over 100 parcels and packets a month, and we were told we dont know how to pack an item which I found insulting, as we are a small company and I pack a majority of the parcels we will never be using parcel monkey, I would rather pay double than use them because of the way they handled our case

Sorry to hear about your issue, we only offer one Same Day service which is City Sprint, and they only reason they would be unable to deliver is if the recipient is not in, not something they can control. They deliver and collect 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please raise a support ticket on your account so we can look into this for you.

Was simple to compare services. I was worried when I received a parcel monkey tracking number rather than a parcel force one and when the Web site went down at the weekend and customer services werent available I wasnt able to seec when it might be delivered. All arrived happuly in the end :)
