Sending a large parcel to South Africa was a worry as all the quotes were massive.
A friend suggested Parcel Monkey and I was amazed how much cheaper they were.
The parcel was collected from my house and within a few days had arrived safe and sound in South Africa.
Parcel Monkeys web site was easy to use and the whole experience was positive.

Was supposed to pick up next day but didnt pick up for two days, parcel force said Parcel Monkey had passed on the details late, this kept my seller waiting at home for nothing!!

i needed a quick way to send my daughter a laptop and hiking boots (not connected!) that allows me to drop the package off outside of office hours (I commute and leave at 6.60, getting home again at after 7pm). I read the reviews about PM, found that a local drop off point was open until 11pm and gave it a try. The drop off was easy, actual carrier was DPD, the delivery was 2 days later - all excellent and trackable on line.
My only gripe was that after placing the order and paying for it, i had to wait 30 minutes before the label was emailed to me - i expected it within minutes, and so had to change my plans a little that evening. But now I know what to expect next time.

Parcel was supposed to get there in 3-4 days, after 9 days it is still in transit somewhere.

Sorry to hear this was not received, please log in to your Parcel Monkey account and we can look into the delay with the carrier. In terms of charges, all items are sent with customs duty unpaid, the customs based in the location will be the ones who charge for the item and the amount is generally owed to them by the recipient and the cost of this depends on the value of the goods you are shipping. This is outlined in the terms at the time of booking.

Very poor experience. Booked delivery with PM keeps getting delivered asked for a refund as i paid for 24 hours delivery and parcel took 72 hours to reach customer. Denied a refund. I now book parcel via another courier, no issues whatsoever.

Everything received within 3 days which was brilliant and as promised, but, the plastic crate I had used was smashed in one corner so parcel had been re-wrapped; all contents seemed ok. Would hesitate to use same again for courier. I have used same type of plastic crate many times before but this is first time this has happened.

Just a shame that I had to drop it off at our local Post Office (Lutterworth), they are most unhelpful and rude. They expect you to dump your item on the floor, where all the customers walk.

I have used parcel monkey several times over the last 2 years and when I first used them they were fantastic. It seems as time goes on they are going down hill I have had parcels returned to me as "we didnt attach the customs documents" (I am on online retailer we ship hundred of parcels a day we do not forget customs, item returned had customs envelope on it but had been ripped to shreds) we were forced to pay for the item to be returned and then had to repay the shipping out of pocket so customer could receive good. I have booked item in with the correct address size and weight was able to book a collection then no one showed up and then was told that what I had booked was not possible to be booked that way (still for that size and weight the only options that pop up is the one I booked). They refuse to pay out on insurance that you book with them and are just down right sluggish at getting back to you through customer service. AVOID THEM there are far to many other courier services you can use that are better at there customer service.

Sorry to hear this item was returned, if there is no customs documents attached securely to the parcel the couriers will return this as they cannot process it. Parcel Monkey do not make collections, we resell courier services so the company you choose via our quote engine then should come and pick up and if they fail to do so, let us know via the Live Chat so we can contact the courier for you to rearrange, or we do offer Drop Off services to avoid the wait in for collection. The claims team review every case individually and if they are unable to pay out they will provide the reason as to why.

I paid for 24 hour delivery with parcelforce however it took 48 hours and the tracking wasnt kept updated!

Never used the service before but having listed a large bulky item on eBay it was clear that interest and price was going to be linked to ability to ship.
Stumbled onto parcel monkey when searching for options and the rest is history.
Delivery was not quite as fast as expected but at the price no great shakes.

Sent a parcel to a small town in Italy. The service was very easy to use and great value, tracking was a doddle and the parcel arrived in just a few days.
Very happy with Parcel Monkey experience and am looking forward to using them again over Christmas.

I needed to get a heavy parcel up to my son at university in Scotland quickly and the prices I had found direct from couriers were very expensive so I gave Parcel Monkey a try.
Faultless service from start to finish and excellent price. Picked up from Surrey at midday the day after booking and arrived safe and sound in Scotland in less then 24 hours. Fantastic!
