Driver came back to depot with 3 parcels still on..one of which was mine. My daughter had been in all day to receive this and I had to phone up to find out the status. Customer service was good once I got to the correct depot and I asked for it to be delivered following day after 1pm..which it was. I would have liked to be told that there was a problem rather than having to chase to find out. I will use the service again as price is competitive and would have given 5 star if it had been delivered on time.

Like most third party booking services, they are generally great when everything goes to plan and completely useless, bordering on offensive, when something goes wrong. The level of Customer Service available is absolutely appalling - their live chat seems like its a bunch of teenagers in a room on their computers having a laugh about it all with no grasp of reality or even basic English. Generally they will create fake weight charges and bill you for it, make claims that YOU got the address wrong and the courier didnt deliver so they can charge you for the return shipping - they have a hole host of tricks up their sleeves to rain in more profits and avoid any liability. Remember - they will ALWAYS put the liability on the customer first, then the courier, to avoid any blame and to avoid any involvement. As another reviewer mention below in a great summary "They also go to lengths to explain that they are not the service provider and so cannot be blamed yet the courier will not deal with me directly because Parcel Monkey is their customer not me" Use at your own peril but no better no worse than any of these crooked third party booking services.

We do not handle the goods at Parcel Monkey, we resell courier service so therefore the additional charges are made by the courier when customers do not declare weight or dimensions accurately and this invoice is then passed from us to the sender. I have also looked into your order conversations and cannot locate the issue here. The collection was ok but the tracking was horrendous I didnt get any updates in my delivery and it didnt even show that the package was collected from my door. A bit frustrating.

I used Parcel Monkey to send an eBay item to the Netherlands thinking itd be a straight forward process however when I got to the post office to drop the parcel off they wouldnt accept the parcel as they werent a fortress post office. It was my 2 year olds birthday and it was meant to be a quick drop off but we then had to track down a post office that would accept the parcel. We were in poor reception so had issues getting WiFi. The whole experience caused so much stress on my daughters birthday resulting in her and our 16 week old screaming hysterical in the car as we tried to find a post office and this is all because the website incorrectly showed our local post office as a parcel accepting office when it wasnt. Such a disappointing experience.

I was struggling to find a company to send a rather large parcel (about 1.5 metres high). Booked parcelforce through Parcel Monkey and it all went smoothly.
I like the fact they show upfront how much extra it will cost for insurance up to the parcels value, rather than having to go through almost the whole process then right at the end springing it upon you that itll be x amount extra to insure - I always find that pretty scammy with some other sights, even the main courier companies themselves seem to often do that. Its shown much earlier in the process with ParcelMonkey.
Have used them a few times over the past couple of weeks as Ive been on a bit of a selling spree. Overall cannot fault this service.

My experience with Parcel Monkey has been awful. Trying to ship an item from UK to Abu Dhabi. Has been 3 weeks now and nothing. The courrier they used (DPD) only picked up one of two boxes and Parcel Monkey took two weeks to finally get the other collected. Then they had it returned to sender. Parcel Monkey staff dont care at all. Insincere apologies via a messenger chat room is all you get. No telephone number to speak to someone. They dont answer your questions. They also go to lengths to explain that they are not the service provider and so cannot be blamed yet the courier will not deal with me directly because Parcel Monkey is their customer not me. Terrible experience. Never again. James - the problem is not the live chat concept itself it is rather the complete lack of accountability the staff on the other end have. When you cannot speak to an individual but rather get responses from many different people, each fobbing you off and each pretending to be called names like John, Mark etc you cannot have a constructive dialogue to resolve the situation. Have a look at my livechat with them and just see how many times they offer apologies for the inconvenience caused, as you have just done, without actually answering the questions.

We do not offer telephone numbers as we have Live Chat on the website which is there to service all our customer needs without having to be put on hold whilst we contact the carrier. Items can be returned for numerous reasons with the carrier so we will be able to advise further on this via our customer support channels.

My parcel was picked up from the uk sending to spain 10 days ago.... Its not been delivered! It was my 3 year olds main birthday present, hes birthday is today with still no parcel! Ive sent messages to both companies with no luck apart from parcel monkey telling me theyll get back to me which they havent! My tracking says the same thing as when they collected it! Not happy.....

I have sent 5 parcels for delivery to Mauritius for my upcoming wedding to my future in laws, So firstly they dont use the phone, they have web chat that they take hours to response to and the web mail service they take 7 days. my father in law has just been told only 3 parcels arrived missing the bridesmaids dresses and my soon to be fathers suit, shoes and other wedding items and their amazing tracking service is simply showing they are all still to be collected from me. Can I get them to find out what is going on??? of course not because they never answer or reply to anything. Save your money and use a more reputable company.

We do not handle the goods, we sell reputable carriers services on our quote engine so the service is the same as booking direct as we also provide all tracking details to our customers. I send my parcel via site parcelmonkey.co.uk and I choose DPD Pick up Express. It says it take only 2 days. I send my parcel on 30/09/2016 today is 7/10/2016. Today my pacel finally get to its destination. I try to contact with ParcelMonkey, but its very dificult because you cant contact with them by phone call, you can only do it online. So they answer me that they will check it for me but that was their last answer. I bought express service and I pay almost 10 pound more for that because I wanted that as soon as it is possible so not one week!!! NOT RECOMMENDED

Dropped my parcel on Friday to the local point at 2:30PM the collection was on Monday it delivered on Thursday to the local depot, it took 6 days to get there not 3 days as it has been advertised. But in general good service and cheap price.

Potentially a good service especially for the heavy item I needed delivered. I chose DPD as courier and dropped the item of at my local depot. Delivered ok but unfortunately the recipient reported that in spite of the fragile labels attached to the packaging the item appeared to have been dropped from some height and now had a smashed base. In spite of photos provided by the recipient of damage and packaging they refused to pay any compensation. Very disappointed.

Organising the delivery was very quick and easy. However, the address label didnt have my house number on it so I was lucky that my post man knew my name and delivered the parcel to me.

When parcel monkey get it right they are great, however when they get it wrong boy you are in for a lot of grief trying to get it sorted out, you cannot contact the courier yourself as you are not the customer, you have to go through parcel monkey, as a example on tracking midnight Sunday night, problem with address (turns out you cant send to a po box with pm, but they dont tell you that) I am still waiting for them to contact me, I have instigated all communication, eventually got my package back, was told a senior manager would be in contact & still waiting, eventually got a refund, but under there ts&cs no compensation or goodwill offered no matter how much they mess up, never again to much hassle.
