Easy service. Quick and efficient

When this service works, its fine - Its when it doesnt the nightmare begins. Parcel monkey have no direct contact with the courier, so if an important collection is running late, you have no way of telling if anyone is going to collect at all. There is no one to phone, just a sporadic chat system which is pointless unless you want to read apology after apology written by what seems like a load of 5 year olds. The only option is to re-schedule a collection which I have on a few occasions only to be let down again. In short, if you dont mind taking a risk that your unimportant package may take a few days to be collected, then no big deal, youll be fine with this company. If you have a serious business to run on deadlines, stay well clear and pay a little more for a dedicated courier service so that if things do go wrong, at least youll be kept in the loop. As the old adage goes, you get what you pay for..

Have used Parcel Monkey several times and it can be OK. Unfortunately this time has been a complete disaster. We prepared and shipped a gift for our daughters 21st birthday and selected a 2-day DPD express service to Spain. We did this 10 days before her birthday to ensure that it would arrive in time. We declared that there was a watch in the parcel that cost £249. Watches are allowed to be shipped according to the information. (DPD limit liability to £250 for watches so we were OK with that.) After over a week the parcel had not arrived we try several times to check what the problem was. DPD decided to stop the shipment based on the fact that the watch in the parcel had a battery in it and they do not accept to ship batteries. Given that almost every watch has a battery inside it, then why they allow watches but then refuse the shipment because there is a battery in it is completely beyond me. Guess what.... they continue to refuse to forward the parcel so it has ruined my daughters 21st Birthday... what makes it worse is that they now want me to pay to get the parcel back!!!! I have paid for them to ship it from UK to Spain which they refuse to do, then they want MORE MONEY to ship it back to me in UK when it never even left the UK in the first place. Parcel Monkey & DPD dont care. The just make it up as they go along and, since they know that my parcel is worth way more than what they want to deliver it back to me, I have no choice but to pay up AGAIN. They have me over a barrel, no choice.

My parcel was supposed to be collected 11/5, but as today they still did not collect. Upon collection I waited at home all day, but they did not even contact me that day, even I tried to contact them. I have been in touch with them the last 13 days, nothing happened yet. Lawyer Is contacted in this matter, so better not use them as they are really not proffessional

My parcel was never collected - I never recieved a missed collection card, I tracked the parcel to find that it said "delivery attempted" but no instructions of what to do next, how to re book and no way of contacting anyone. There was someone at the property all day on the day that parcel force said they tried to collect.

Bought a saddle it arrived broken tree ! Not happy thankfully insured but whether they pay out is a different matter they still owe me for a duplicate parcel delivery I bought with them but there customer service isn’t great

Without hesitation Parcel Monkeys service is superb and with great affordable pricing.
They collect my parcels, they are delivered as per my request without damage as each parcel is treated with respect.
So simple, so easy to use, you go on line, choose your options and that is all you need other than your credit card or #Paypal account.

The parcel was held at a depot for 2 weeks, after contacting parcel monkey several times they did not contact the courier in time and the parcel was sent back to us. We had confirmation by the courier after calling them my self, that parcel monkey did not contact them regarding this issue. BEWARE! only an email portal for support which takes upto 8 hours to respond. To save £10 or so on a parcel is not worth it, especially if you are a business sending a parcel. Your reputation is in their hands.

Despite the parcel indicating fragile in numerous places, care was not taken and my teapot arrived smashed in to many pieces. The package was packed very carefully and thoroughly by the sender so excessive force must have been used to damage the item

My parcel was collected 2 weeks ago and it was supposed to reach destination in 2 days as stated on the website. I have tried to contact the company and apparently there is no phone number to contact them. Tracking the item is impossible once it has left British soil so who is responsible?
